Slechter kan bijna niet!

Een hotel dat buiten kleine en onverzorgde kamers enorm gehorig is door de aanwezigheid van 3 disco's welke open zijn tot 04.30 uur in de ochtend. Slapen is bijna onmogelijk door het gedreun Het ontbijt is ook van een zeer matige kwaliteit! Al bij al is dit een hotel dat ik aan niemand zou willen aanraden!

Péssimo hotel, sujo, nojento, pior que já fiquei

Péssimo hotel. O pior que já fiquei em todas as minhas viagens. Quando cheguei para fazer o checkin, fui informado que existiam 5 (cinco!!!) Night Clubs dentro do hotel e que funcionavam até as 3:30 da madrugada. Pedi um quarto mais longe possível do barulho, mas foi impossível... o barulho extremamente alto persistiu por todas as noites até a madrugada. O quarto estava todo empoeirado, sobre as mesas, cadeira, cama, chão... muito pó. No banheiro havia muitas baratas. Pedi que no dia seguinte fizessem uma boa limpeza, mas nada foi feito, somente arrumaram a cama. Nem limparam o banheiro, e esqueceram de colocar toalhas. Agora a novela das toalhas: todos os dias eles não colocavam toalhas limpas.... eu chegava da rua a noite e não tinha toalhas. Tinha que ficar pedido na recepção. Mas o pior, não era pedir, era esperar.... A última noite foi a pior, esperei por 4 horas as toalhas.... mesmo insistindo várias vezes por telefone, até que me irritei, desci na recepção e fiz um "barraco" . O mais incrível foi a resposta do gerente falando que a lavanderia ficava em Dubai, a 1:30 de distância.... foi demais....Um hotel não ter toalhas limpas.... Agora o café da manhã: não tinha um buffet para você se servir, tinha que ficar pedindo ao garçom, só que ele trazia no máximo 2 pães tostados e um omelete, se pedisse mais que isso, não vinha. Péssimo, nojento, sem falar das pessoas que transitavam dentro do hotel por causa do Night Club.... Não recomendo nem para o meu pior inimigo.

Nicht noch einmal.

Wir hatten nur für 1 Nacht gebucht, da es am nächsten morgen aufs Kreuzfahrtschiff gehen sollte. Das mehrere Discos im Hotel sind wussten wir. Hatten vorher extra um ein Zimmer auf einer entfernten Etage gebeten was aber nicht berücksichtigt worden ist. So war bis 04:00 Nachts leider nicht an Schlaf zu denken. Dann wollte man beim Check-In versuchen uns die Steuern und Gebühren (die bereits über Hotels.com bezahlt worden waren) noch mal abzuziehen. Erst nach Diskution wurd das Korrigiert und nur wie richtig die 15AED quasi Kurtaxe berechnet. Hier also VORSICHT nicht über den Tisch ziehen lassen. Die saubertkeit der Zimmer ist hier wirklich unter aller Kanone. Wir waren ernsthaft am überlegen wieder auszuchecken und wir sind echt nicht empfindlich. Auf der Tagesdecke gab es Blutflecken das Bad hat quasi überall geschimmelt .Die Dusche brauchte 10min bis sie lauwarm war. Ein alternativ Zimmer war angeblich nicht frei. Evtl. wollte man uns nach der Diskution beim Check-In auch einfach kein anderes Zimmer geben. Ich kann von diesem Hotel auf ganzer Linie nur abraten. Auch für Umsonst würde ich hier nicht noch mal übernachten.

Muito barulho, cheiro de cigarro e banho frio.

O único ponto positivo é ficar a uma quadra do Air City Terminal. Pedi quaartos para não fumantes, mas o cheiro de cigarro era insuportável. Os banhos tinham que ser praticamente frios, pois a água não esquenta. Mas o pior é o barulho dos 4 ou 5 night clubs que funcionam no prédio (somente os andares 4 e 5 são ocupados pelo hotel. O Hoteis.com devia alertar os clientes sobre isto. Café da manhã razoável, com pessoal bem atencioso no restaurante.

Akzeptabel als party-hotel, aber 5 laut nachtclubs

Zimmer: laut, schmutzig, klein. Ambience: LAUT! und kalt. Fünf "indian" nachtclubs oben und unten, jeder mit 120 decibels bis 0330 uhr morgens waren sehr unangenehm. Frühstück: schlecht, und auch kaltes essen. Leute: sehr freundlich, aber als personal generell ineffizient und untrainiert.

La posizione dell'hotel è comoda se si vuole visitare la città, visto la vicinanza al terminal degli autobus. I rumori, dovuti alla presenza di Night Club, all'interno della struttura si sentono e possono costituire un problema per chi ha il sonno leggero...Per il resto tutto nella norma.. È un 3 stelle.. Nulla di più...Il personale cmq è sempre stato gentile e disponibile.

It was worth for the value! The breakfast - quite good, different dishes, and freshly prepared. Tasty as well.Honestly we did not expect such service.The receptionists - very polite and helpful. Few bars are situated in this place so the only negative thing was the noise until late in the night, but when the person is tired -who cares! Better hotel than the ones in Dubai from the same category.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!

I was on a business trip to Abu Dahbi for one week. Staying at this hotel is by the the WORST decision that I made. I didn't know anything about the hotel prior to booking, I booked it based on some reviews and price. Don't be deceived by the pictures. Upon check in, I find out that there are 4 or 5 night clubs in the hotel. Not a good thing! You will breath second hand smoke all night and your cloths will smell like smoke.. You won't be able to sleep until 3 or 4am because of the noise. I had to keep my air conditioning off all night so the smell wouldn't come in through the vents. Thank goodness the weather is nice in January. My room was not made or cleaned for THREE days even after telling them on daily basis. You will get random calls in the middle of the night from the front desk looking for people. Ohhh, by far the biggest shock for me? PROSTITUTES AND HOOKERS. Yes, it is true! You will see Philippinas and Nigerian ladies. The clubs patrons are 100% Indians, Pakistanis, and other southeast Asians. Needless to say, this hotel is NOT family friendly. The area is very convenient. Steps from Abu Dhabi mall! Have seen better malls though!

Worst hotel staff.. Ever

Hotel industry is about hospitality & these guys are nothing like that. First night I was supposed to be in a non smoking room but they put me, a non smoker, there. And for that room they took almost an hour to check me in. I spent a sleepless night. Then I booked a room with a king size bed (as per Expedia selection) but they still put me in a smaller room. The housekeeping was so bad even after repeated requests for whole day they didn't make my room.

There are 6 Night Clubs which works from 21:00 to 04:00 hrs, one cannot Sleap in the room because of too much noise, There is No Parking in the Hotel, if you reach after 21:00 hrs, there is no space on Road to park the vehicle Beacuse of the Night Clubs, the Gentry in the Hotel is very cheap and stay with Family is very Auckward. Very Less Staff in the Hotel all are busy in completing the demands.

Noisy and Fume Smelly

I booked a day before by Hotels.com. Style of the hotel is about the Indian and south east Asian. This hotel includes 5 different night clubs! Roof floor(1), One of them at 5th floor, one of them is at 7th floor and mezzanine floor(2). May God have mercy to 6th floor guests for sleeping. As you read, this hotel is very noisy. Unfortunately smell of the Hotel is really bad and it reeks. You can get this smell everywhere of the hotel such as in the elevator, at the hall or in your room. I think they fumed some kind of Indian incense 24/7. On the other hand, hotel is located to city center and very good price. Breakfeast was in the price and normal quality. Besides,there are no vale parking service. But hotel employees served very good and polite.

Pretty mediocre hotel with too much noises

loads of music noises from the 5 odd clubs in the hotel. Neither club nor room is sound proof. Service is very mediocre. Plenty of parking availables near hotel but paid so if u miss extending parking ticket there is high chance that u get fine AED 200 immediately as inspector is always roaming near the hotel. The hotel doesnt provide parking facility eveb though they reserve 3 slots for them. Front office staffs are okay. More than the front office lady, the bell boys talk much in the reception. One guy was helpful though. Room condition is okay. Bathroom is too small so high chance u rub ur leg against toilet seat while entering or exiting. Also I found loads of wastage of amenities such as soaps or water bottle. I hardly use them so I expect to reuse it later but they change it everyday. So dont understand if I should complaint for wastage or be happy for daily replacement. If staffs are using those stuffs instead of throwing then I am fine with the daily replacement. Food in Kerala cafe was good but too much noise inside and smell of alchohol and smoking are intolerable.

Not that bad, probably if you are not on a floor with a club. We slept at the fourth floor, the noise was doable. Rooms are small but comfortable, and could use a renovation. Good location, although sometimes difficult to find a parking space.

Ma pire expérience.Il y a deux nightclubs dans l’hôtel et la fréquentation n'est pas des plus respectables, impossible de dormir au calme, j'ai du demander à ce que l'on me change d'étage afin de diminuer le bruit entre 23h et 3h du matin. Les lits sont petits et les matelas de mauvaise qualité, même moi qui ait le sommeil facile ai eu beaucoup de mal à me reposer. Enfin, ce n'est surement pas la faute de l’hôtel mais rencontrer des personnes ivres dans l'ascenseur vous faisant des propositions indécentes est assez désagréables voire perturbant.

Not met the 3.5 Star Expectations!!!!

Our experience was not that what we were expected with reference to a 3.5 Star hotel, specially when we already stayed in a 3 Star Hotel in Abu Dhabi before!!! Unfortunately, we'd bad experience since the hotel was crowded and noisy due to the 4 Night Clubs in the 1st floor!

Hotel.com services good but the Strand Hotel NO

The next day afternoon of my stay i discovered that my ipad charger was missing. Later i got it back after complaining to the front desk and informing then i would complain to the police if i didnt get it back. apparently a house keeping or cleaning staff took it. That put the image of the property to bad name. I guess i wouldn't recommend anyone stay there.
