One of the best parts of Rancho Corona del Mar is being able to bring everyone together without giving up your own space.

The home accommodates up to 18 guests across five bedrooms, including king and queen suites plus two bunk rooms that work especially well for children, teens, and larger family groups. Instead of splitting your group between hotel rooms or multiple rentals, everyone can stay together while still having room to relax.

Indoor & Outdoor Living

The heart of the rancho is its spacious great room, with a large solid-wood dining table, comfortable seating, locally sourced furnishings, and TV.

The fully equipped indoor kitchen makes cooking for a group easy, while the covered outdoor glorieta provides another favorite gathering place with seating, hammocks, and a large-screen TV. Outdoor cooking with built in BBQ and covered bar area add to the areas to prepare and serve food.

Outside, enjoy the private pool, sun loungers, lush courtyard and lawn, coconut palms, outdoor showers, and direct access to Playa Costa Azul.

A Rancho with a Story

Our family lovingly renovated Rancho Corona del Mar in partnership with local Salvadoran artisans. From the gates and doors to the custom woodwork and furniture, many of the details throughout the home were handmade in El Salvador specifically for this property.

We wanted to preserve the relaxed character of a Salvadoran beach rancho while adding the comforts our own family values when we travel. The result is a home that feels distinctly local, comfortable, and designed for time together.

Guest Access & Onsite Care

Guests have private use of the entire rancho, swimming pool, courtyard, lawn, and beachfront areas.

Our longtime caretakers live separately in a small casita near the front of the property. They have cared for the home for more than 20 years and are available to answer questions and help make your stay comfortable while respecting your privacy.

Guests may also arrange additional services directly with the caretakers, including meal preparation, extra cleaning, laundry service, and shopping or errand assistance.
