'We made a last minute reservation and all went fine. The room was spotless clean and there was a very good shower. The bar is very authentic and both the dinner and breakfast were very good. We had a nice view on the lake.'

'Our hosts took such good care of us, arriving on a wet wet day they prepared the hot tub for us, organised a late dinner at most excellent pub in walking distance through wonderful countryside for delightful delicious home cooked food . Sleep was very comfortable and breakfast a knock out in presentation and selection. '

Blick aus dem Wohnzimmer grandios, ebenso aus dem Hot-Tub (37 °C) auf der Terrasse. Strontian ist ein sehr kleiner Ort in den Highlands etwas abseits der touristischen Zentren, sehr angenehm. 'My wife & I stayed here for a week in June/July with plans to walk in the neighbouring countryside. The property was in immaculate condition and had everything we needed (including a hot-tub). It is indeed, an amazing construction (insulated with straw-bales) and gave us perfect privacy. The host was very welcoming and was on hand if we needed anything else. Top marks to him.
