'The property was tastefully furnished which reflected its historical past. There was a spacious sitting room for use by guests and a kitchen equipped for the heating and simple cooking of meals. The tasty breakfasts were cooked to order with locally sourced ingredients. There was a small but pleasant garden with suitable seating areas.
The staff were always welcoming, helpful and friendly.

'The Angel is a nice little boutique hotel where I am coming once or twice a year when visiting family nearby. I quite like the hotel. Somewhere to hang washing would be beneficial as not every clothing item is suited for the washer dryer. Bathroom nice, but as others have commented, some amenities would be welcomed'

'We were just passing through and needed a bed for the night, and the Three Kings was in the right place and what we were hoping to pay (school holidays).
The Three Kings was much better than expected, great bed, good shower with a bar next door that served good food.

A mini fridge in the room to keep drinks cold & milk rather than have to collect from the restaurant.
