'6 of us had headed to Addis for a stag-do. Their massive aparthotel-type rooms did the job for us. 3 massive rooms with 6 beds and a large living room sufficed for all our shenanigans. However I give 3 stars instead of 5 because there were many power outages and the hotel didn't have any back-up power. Come on Archi, invest in an electricity generator. '

'Everything about the Emmad is great. Although a little rough around the edges it’s great value for the money. The staff it friendly and helpful. The rooms are neat and clean with lots of space. Separate kitchenette. The bed is comfortable. The restaurant has great food. Better than the Hilton. 2 km from Airport with shuttle service. '

'Cockroaches and other bugs in the room and the bathroom/toilet. No pest or insect control. It was warm and sometimes hot. No portable fans available as there is no air conditioning in the hotel. Staff is ok but do not speak much English. A lot of maintenance is required as many things are missing from rooms such as hair dryer etc. '
