We had a great stay in one of the apartments overlooking the sea. The welcoming Greek family, amazing service and spotlessly clean rooms made this a great stay. They have very nice home made jams and even made a home made cake for my wife's birthday.

De beste keuze voor een verblijf op Aegina
Erg goed hotel. Zwembad is echt groot en ook een prima strand. Personeel is erg gastvrij en alles is mogelijk. Zeer attent en vriendelijk.

Fantastisk opphold! Følte oss som hjemme, super hyggelig familie som drev stedet, utrolig serviceinnstilte. Veldig hjelpsomme og nydelig gresk mat, og det hjemmelagde fikensyltetøyet på frokosten var en favoritt! Vil definitivt besøke igjen hvis vi får sjansen! Hadde alt det vi trengte for å ha noen rolige dager i sola, vi er kjempefornøyde!

The entire stay was very nice. It is a cozy, family owned hotel where you feel welcome all the time and the view from the breakfast area is to die for. Really a great place to relax and enjoy the beautiful view of the sea. Athens was visible at night from the balcony. We were overall very happy.

Completely excellent! Relaxing and quiet. The owners are fantastic, helpful, and polite. You can go from your bedroom to the beach in less than 60 seconds. We're looking forward to our next visit.

If your looking for a nice pool, a hotel almost at the peach and peace and quiet, then this hotel is amazing. The staff is also very interested in making the stay a pleasant one. We had a very good stay, and we will probably be "repeaters"

Lovely spot in the Greek islands close to Athens
This is a family-run hotel with exceptional service. The accommodation and facilities were spotlessly clean and the atmosphere was friendly and relaxing. The hosts could not have been more accommodating. Very highly recommended.

Relaxing and peaceful stay
We had a great stay at Irides. The hotel is off the beaten path and very peaceful, but easily walkable to the nearby ports for meals and there is a small supermarket 2 minutes away. The family are super friendly and helpful with any request. The pool and loungers are great for relaxing, and the sea is just metres away if you prefer the ocean.

A Real Find
Irides is In the most beautiful position right on the sea. The real attraction apart from the location was the lovely family who run this set up. Mama does a lot of the cooking, Papa is there too and even grandfather who is 90 pops in to keep an eye on things. And Hassan who does the breakfasts and is always around to help, is an absolute joy - so cheerful and welcoming. Good Greek food if reqired, the Greek salad and courgette fritters are really good. Beds are really comfortable, the sea-water pool is excellent and the sun beds are SO good. This place for us was a real find.

Super schönes Hotel im Familienbetrieb.
Wir hatten ein paar unfassbar schöne Tage dort!! Es ist ein Familienbetrieb und das merkt man auch. Alles ist mit sehr viel Liebe gemacht - vom Frühstück bis hin zu den Drinks. Wir waren mit unserem Sohn dort und auch für ihn (6 Jahre) war es ein super schönes Erlebnis. Das Hotel ist total Kinderfreundlich und der Pool ist super sauber. Wenn man Meer will, geht 10 Schritte und steht darin. Das Wasser im Meer ist Glasklar und man kann toll schnorcheln. Die Zimmer sind wirklich schön und sauber. 10 von 10 Sternen :).

Relocated to another room
Unfortunately we were relocated to another room by the owner. This was because a regular client had requested the room we were originally allocated. The second room was more spacious but had very poor wifi connection and was only available on the balcony. The paint was peeling in the bathroom.

Incredible Location and Staff
The hotel is utterly gorgeous, the location is great and the hosts are incredible. Nothing is too much trouble. Very knowledgeable about the local area and amenities, and totally committed to ensuring that their visitors have a great time. Fantastic walks along the beaches/cliffs in both directions. Hotel is also on the bus route (if you can work out the bus time tables). I cannot recommended this hotel strongly enough.

The staff was nothing short of exemplary. Friendly, went out of way to make you feel like part of the family. Room was clean, pool was clean, food was very good. Taxi service can get expensive after a few days adding up so if you are going to be there a few days exploring the island, weigh the cost of alternate transportation. I will stay there again. Very good experience and I was happy with the price.

Et veldig fint, trivelig og rolig ferieanlegg ved sjøen bare 40 min med hurtigbåt fra Athen og med utsikt mot Athen. Familiedrevet, veldig trivelig vertsskap og utmerket renhold. Litt langt unna småbysentrum med restauranter, men god mat på resorten.

Absolutely amazing!! We were greeted right from the car and walked around the property and showed around! It was a very homely and friendly feel! We had a beautiful chat with the owner and manager! Along with meeting the entire family how own the place! They had great suggestions about the island and what to do and where to see! It was my birthday during my stay and the owners mum made me a homemade traditional Greek “cake” dessert for my birthday! (It was better than birthday cake) it was amazing! The view and room was amazing! Good bed and good showers! And in general a great stay! Love the pool and the bigger pool a couple steps away(the ocean) Would 100% recommend without a doubt and will be back one day! Will make a effort if ever back in Greece we will be back! Also a beautiful wedding venue!

Δεν περίμεναν και παιδί - δεν είχαν δει την κράτηση - και όταν ζητήσαμε να ανοίξουν τον καναπέ κρεβάτι μας είπαν αργότερα, γιατί έπαιρναν μεσημεριανό. Πρόκειται για παρεξήγηση - αβλεψία μάλλον, διότι ζήτησαν επιπλέον €15 για το παιδί, τα οποία πλήρωσα, αλλά στο τέλος μετά τη διαμαρτυρία μου, μου είπαν θα επιστραφούν στην κάρτα μου. Ωραίο κατάλυμα, εξαιρετική αρχιτεκτονική, πολύ καλό πρωινό, ωραία θέα, πισίνα, βεράντα, δροσιά λόγω βόρειου προσανατολισμού, καθαρό, μεγάλα δωμάτια, αλλά μικρά μπάνια. Δε λειτουργούσε το τηλέφωνο.

Relax by the turquoise water
Cracking small resort hotel with super-friendly family owners. About 10 km from Aegina Town, a little resort hotel with a good atmosphere and a beautiful location. We had a little apartment which was very comfortable and had a good fridge and little kitchen area. The pool area is very nice and loads of sitting areas with shade or sun. Little sandy beach is ok but the best thing is swimming and snorkelling in the beautiful sea. The hotel has some swimming equipment to borrow. The bar does snacks (great burgers) but there is a supermarket about 200m away, and a very nice taverna a short walk along the coast. We enjoyed a really relaxing break. You need a car to explore the island.

Stayed four days at Irides, and loved it so much that I didn't step out of the hotel premises once during my stay. Warm and welcoming atmosphere, and lovely people running the hotel. Great service, home cooked meals, nice pool area, and crystal clear sea water. For me it was a perfect get away and break from hectic work life, and I am going back later this summer for more. This is a gem!

Very comfortable, family-run hotel close to beach.
Charming owners, very friendly and kind to our children. Breakfast was excellent, with delicious home-made marmalade, and omelettes made to order. Olives supplied from own trees.Beautiful, comfortable apartment, provided with TV and DVD player, as well as fridge and kitchen area. Lots of helpful advice about itinerary, local restaurants and car hire. One of the staff, in his own time, took us on a delightful nature walk up a nearby hill, and knew the names of all the plants and flowers we saw. The lady of the house showed us the marvellous "museum" she had created, including antiques and ancient pottery. When it was Easter Sunday back in the UK, she produced chocolate eggs for the children, which was a lovely surprise. Good English was spoken by the owners and staff, and if we had any needs e.g. hot water in the morning or internet connection was disrupted, they were immediately met.

Great place to relax with your family.
We wanted one last break before school started. Irides Luxury Apartments was exactly what we needed. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Yes it was a little remote, but we did not wanted to be "crowded". Besides, we had a wonderful view of Athens and the coast line and the water was warm for the kids to swim.

A fantastic beach holiday in a great resort.
We had an excellent stay and really enjoyed the facilities and the general environment. The complex is situated right on the beach with a swimming pool only a few meters away. There is also a number of tavernas within walking distance and a super market. The upkeep and maintenance of the apartment and general environment was excellent. The management and staff have taken pride in the resort and have worked well to keep everything extremely clean and well kept. Breakfasts where good with a wide range of continental and local foods. The jams and preserves are home made and highly recommended. Overall I would highly recommend the Irides to anyone with a children or staying as a couple.

Hôtel sur la plage mais pas de sable, superbes fonds marins, super personnel, belle piscine mais eau de mer. Petit port de Souvala à 30mn à pied. Hôtel très agréable, simple mais très propre et familial.
