'Fantastisch gelegen hotel vlakbij boulevard en gezellige winkelstraatjes. Wat een stuk minder was, dat Argostoli ligt op een aardbevinggevoelige lijn, waaar wij dus een tamelijk zware trilling van hebben meegekregen. Het was wel geen heftige aardschok, maar het hotel schudde op zijn grondvesten. En de hele week nog lichte trillingen. Kefalonia is een prachtig eiland, maar niet voor ons om naar terug te keren.'

'Het uitzicht is een 10, de bereikbaarheid: redelijke klim en als je het te voet aflegt voor de liefhebber. Ontbijt is simpel maar voldoende. Redelijke keuze maar wel elke dag hetzelfde aanbod. als je elke dag wat ander neemt heb je nog wel voldoende variatie. Internet is zoals erg traag en via wifi. Het mobile netwerk is redelijk rond de bewoonde gebieden. Met de taxi naar Argosteli kost ± €7,00.'

'My partner and I were pleasantly surprised by how incredible the Essence Suites were. The staff were there to greet us upon arrival and we were treated to a fresh lemonade and chocolate covered raspberries. We were giving your advice and maps for Kefalonia before being shown to our immaculate room. Our breakfast out by the pool each morning was fresh and delicious. 'We had one night here in preparation for a boa excursion on the following day. The room was ok but no tea or coffee provided despite there being a kettle and mugs. No water in fridge. The balcony was very small and the breakfast was disappointing with the lack of fresh fruit. Nice surroundings and reception were particularly helpful.'

'The hotel is located in Lassi, and is just a short journey from the airport (approx 10 mins). The taxi journey was $20 from airport to hotel, and $25 from hotel back to airport, although a bus is available. The location is absolutely perfect for the amazing Makris Gialos beach, and a 5 minute walk to a supermarket and the beginning of a road full of restaurants and shops. There is a bus stop is directly outside the hotel. It looked as though the hotel and pool area had been completed...

'We booked a week here to visit our daughter who was working in Kefalonia and, for us the location was perfect. Just outside of the gentle, family friendly town of Lixouri on the Paliki peninsula. The apartment was right on the beach, facing Argostoli and the rest of the island. The view from the living room, and two of the bedrooms was stunning.
