'The reception staff were very helpful and friendly. My room for one person was spacious and comfortably. . I loved the small kitchen and the crumpets and jam ! The only minus point was there was no airco and the room was very warm even with the 2 fans that were provided on full.'

'The location is excellent, close to the city center. The parking opportunities are limited, fortunately unloading and loading is possible in the street of the location. The apartment is well equipped and sizable. However, the windows pf apartment 3 are facing an inner court with a venting system of a restaurant. It produces strong kitchen smells during most of the day. It should be discussed with the owner how to reduce the smells (with scrubs, perhaps).'

'From the open wood fire and daily wood supply to the lovely walks around the area, this was a gorgeous stay. A cozy cottage that offers homely living in a beautiful setting. Caldbeck is a lovely and surprisingly up market village and with the Beck waterfall offers a great easy first days shop and ramble. Thank you very much!'

'A lovely cottage with great views and everything we needed for your stay. We didn't book until the day before but everything was ready for us (thank you), other than the tablet with guest instructions which had gone flat but soon came up and is a great idea - much better than bits of paper. 'We recently stayed at this lovely cottage in Carlisle with my two children and had an amazing time. The place was spotless, cosy, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The cottage had a lovely big garden with beautiful views, and there were some great walks nearby which we all enjoyed. The host was welcoming and made sure everything was just right. We would definitely love to return and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!'
