Deze gezellige hut ligt aan de oever van een vijver en biedt u de natuurlijke schoonheid van deze bergachtige omgeving. Kathedraal plafonds bedekt met grenen creëren een open sfeer van ruime leven. Met grote ramen in alle richtingen kunt u de schoonheid van uw omgeving in Zuid-Colorado niet missen. De privé hot tub voor 6 personen is de perfecte plek om te ontspannen na een lange dag op verkenning te zijn geweest.

Wat is in de buurt:
Met de Rio Grande-rivier in de buurt, kun je een vlot op de Rio Grande lanceren en zachtjes drijven op de bovenloop van de rivier, of een meer uitdagend wateravontuur opzoeken en koers zetten naar de sneltreinen klasse II en klasse III op de rivier. Sportvissers kunnen vissen en regenboogforel mee naar huis nemen om te koken voor het diner in de keuken van uw huur. Het skigebied Wolf Creek bevindt zich op slechts 7,5 km afstand, waardoor deze hut een van de accommodaties is die het dichtst bij de hellingen ligt.

Amazing place, super close to Wolf Creek Ski area. Wonderful quiet location, and that hot tub after a good day at the mountain is amazing!

Man, I wanted this stat to be magical for my family on Christmas. We were informed via Vrbo that the wood stove would have firewood inside upon arrival to have a fire going. We get there and there is no wood and a big sign that says, “please don’t use fireplace.” I spent most of Christmas Day trying to communicate with Vrbo to no get good support.Then: the bathroom smelt so bad like pee and Mildo. When we went to shower the inside curtain was so filled with mold that we couldn’t even shower in that shower. Then: broken furniture throughout, cabinets, couch, fireplace stones, filthy carpet, windows were so dirty with flies and webs and filth that you couldn’t see out.Lastly and most importantly, live rodents were in the cabin while we were there. One was running at night when we went to use the bathroom. Downstairs beds are worn but upstairs beds are great. There are no extra blankets so bring your own. The hot tub was so clean and wonderful which was nice after skiing. Also, the view and location were stunning. Overall, I would not return.

Be cautious of the extra cleaning fee for dogs that is not in the listing. Also, dogs must be on leash and cannot leave the property. It is a small property. I tried walking along the river with my dogs (on a leash) and was screamed at by a neighboring property. The home itself is fine. Beds are okay. I notified property that the drywall was detaching from the ceiling in the bedroom and drywall was all over the bed. All I got in return was "thanks for letting us know".

Communication wit the property manager had to take place by contacting Vacassa . We had to several times but to no satisfaction with the issues at hand until day four of our stay. The property manager was very nice but Vacassa was very poor. We would not rent from a property that they were involved with again. There were some small complaints, a peeling ceiling in a bedroom, no bath mat in case of slipping in tub, no flashlight or nightlight, and the grill was in very poor, not usable condition. We left a day earlier than planned because of the weather but was able to finally talk to the actual manager.

This house could be a gem if the owners cared enough to invest any money in it. Everything in this place is old and out dated. We texted Vacasa within about 30 min of our arrival to tell them there was only 2 small pieces of wood for the wood burning stove (the house was at 60 degrees in the middle of winter with only very slow baseboard heat). Vacasa responded quickly that we could drive 5 miles up the road and buy some! Given as much as we paid to stay there for the weekend, the wood should have been complementary…since the property description fails to state you must bring your own wood! They apparently texted the “team” at the property and that person responded the next day saying she/he would bring some up and it never happened. Every pan & utensil that we took out of the cabinet to use had to be scrubbed to get old food off, before we could use it!! The pull out couch clearly had not been cleaned in a LONG time! There was so much debris (ink pens, large pieces of old food), crumbs, and dirt on it and there were no sheets anywhere. The bathrooms had the worst bath tissue. The beds in the downstairs bedroom were so old and creaky it was difficult to get a good night’s sleep. This is the worst VRBO experience we have ever had. Disappointment is an understatement.

Just what we needed!

The place was roomy and accommodating. We had 4 guys, so it was nice not to have to share beds and to be able to spread out the snorers. Pros: -Spacious open feel -Hot tub -Everything as advertised -About as close to Wolf Creek as you can get Cons: (these are minor picky things) -Cookware was pretty basic -Had to do some snow shoveling to access the back porch -for some reason I imagined a remote cabin with a pond- it was actually a complex of many cabins on the property- but still quiet with a nice Mountain View -WiFi is available but is stated in the rules that you can’t use it for streaming, we just played board games and never had issues with speed when we needed to look things up. Also, apologies, I meant to clean up the baby carrot water that dripped in the fridge but forgot, so hopefully that didn’t affect anyone else’s experience negatively. All in all it was a great stay!

Wolf Creek Ski Trip

Our stay was good. A few things outdated but nothing that should be an immediate fix. Thought the downstairs beds were alittle uncomfortable. And the tile around the fireplace was all busted up. Few of the outlets in the kitchen didn’t work and the shower head in the master was broken (you fixed during the stay) still was a great place and a cozy comfortable stay.

Great Cabin

The cabin was in a great location. It was clean and the staff was super helpful when the hot tub wasn’t heating. Overall it was a lovely stay. I gave only four stars because the amenities are lacking. The pots and pans were small and very worn. No wine glasses, broken cooking tools, dull knives, etc. The beds were okay but the pillows were terrible.

Beautiful Location, Very Dirty House

The views were amazing. Great to have a river on one side and a pond on the other. However, the house was VERY dirty. Every dish had food stuck to it. Floors were not vacuumed. Hot tub was green, although they did come and clean it the second day. House layout was nice too. Just hard to feel comfortable when everything is so disgusting.

BEAUTIFUL property and location. Questions answered quickly and efficiently, easy access, very easy and self explanatory checkin. Slightly mislead by the “lake” but still a nice pond to have out the back of the chalet. Would highly recommend and would go again!

Great Lake Facing Cabin!!!

We had a great time. The cabin had everything we needed and has such a cute and smart layout. Great for multiple couples or families staying, with just our dogs and little family we had plenty of space. The back porch faces a lake which was beautiful and peaceful. The hot tub was also amazing to relax in while enjoying the quiet lake and scenery. We’ll definitely try to stay here again for our next trip to South Fork.

Very nice cabin and great location for getting up to Wolf Creek for first tracks.

Vacasa showed real professionalism getting ahead of broken hot tub with notice and quick, unsolicited decision to give us an appropriate amount of credit against the rate. While it did not get working during trip, that happens and they were clearly working on it. Beds are very firm but it is a cabin! We enjoyed our stay and felt we made a very good choice.

JAN 2022 SKI TRIP TO WOLF CREEK

This house was located a short 7 min drive to ski slopes. Home has everything you need to cook, relax and enjoy. We thought everything was wonderful! Can't beat the beautiful views from this great house.
