There was a holiday event at the property. This led to no parking, and I eventually had to use the valet. It was explained to me that the valet wouldn't be available in the morning and should come back later to retrieve my vehicle to park it in a place I knew where it would be. After a 5-hour trip, all I wanted was a beer and to go to bed. I couldn't get the beer due to the event (really not that big of a deal), but I had to retrieve my truck.
Later, when I went back for my truck, and the lot was clear enough, so I just grabbed my keys from the valet and found it in the lot, where I discovered they had left my lights on. Thankfully, it didn't drain my batteries (yes, plural as I have two), but I'm sure it shortened their lifespan.
With that out of the way, I thought things would go smoother, but come morning there wasn't enough hot water for one shower, let alone two.
I've always preferred Hilton properties in my travels, but I when I come back to Troy I think I will be avoiding this property.
