Beautiful setting but a corky house. We would have loved a book telling us wear things were and how things worked. The hot tub was an absolute highlight and wonderful!!

Property is beautiful, and very spacious. Your own quite corner with visually stunning views down into the Santiam river. Inside and out was clean and plenty of opportunities for professional photos, which we used as our wedding reception venue.

We hosted Thanksgiving for our extended family and stayed the night in the cabin. For how large the space was it was cozy. There were some quirky things since the property is set up for weddings. The views were exactly what we hoped for from the PNW!

A picturesque setting!

Our family stayed here for our daughter's wedding in early October. It is a beautifully built home right next to the Santiam river. It has a well appointed kitchen & great room for entertaining. Lot's of room on the ground floor and outside. Our disappointment was all the beauty chairs, shampoo bowls, waxing table etc. in the bedroom and bathroom. And not enough places to hang clothing. However, owner was very responsive when we let her know our needs.

unusable spa

We arrived to find the spa being refilled and cold on our first night. Day two it was full or brown water. We received no credit for this in our huge fee which seemed exorbitant without the use of the spa and with the dirty and broken items shown to host in the kitchen. the small token of playdough and toys for our granddaughter dit not make up for the loss in any way. this is my second horrible experience with VRNO in Oregon. Not using this app again!

We had the best time celebrating my late father. Carla was absolutely the best. I will be recommending her to everyone I know here 9in Alaska. I wish I didn't have to cut 2 nights off my stay. The nieces and nephews were able to enjoy the full stay. Thank you Carla 5 star hostess

Great for a bridal party...not so much for family vacations

The property is lovely but funky. It is not set up for two separate families, unless you REALLY don't mind a level of intimacy provided with partial walls. The cabin itself smells as though there have been decades of smoking allowed inside despite Carla providing alternate bed linens. The dining table does not have enough chairs...but it does flip over to serve as a billiards table? Carla was very responsive and accommodated our group. She provided great recs for activities around the property. Overall, this property would be great for a small, intimate wedding party, but I do not recommend for families.

I was born and raised in Albany Oregon but I’ve been living in NY for the last 15 years. When news came of our 30 year High School reunion- it was a must to come home to reminisce with all my friends. My family has since moved away from Albany, and I had no intention in a hotel- hence looking at VRBO. When coming across this listing, I couldn’t think of anything better for my girlfriends and I to stay. From the second I walked in, serene is the only word I could think of. Looking at the River from the back patio during the sunset or simply to clear your mind was perfection. Carla, our host is beyond accommodating, sweet and understanding. The home was impeccably clean, beds were so comfortable after a long day of activities. Saturday night, the particular vineyard we were at wanted to close around 9:30, but we just wanted to stay together longer. We did invite those to come but it became overwhelming in the parking situation, especially given the impromptu circumstance, in all honesty didn’t think they all would come, so we did need to end the evening. Which was good for those of us staying as we were exhausted. All good things must come to an end. Her location is so perfect for events, weddings, bridal showers, etc. With proper notice and knowledge, she does have ample parking and your pictures will be so special. I know my friends loved it there and I couldn’t have been happier to have a home away from home. Carla, you are an amazing, generous woman!!
