'The place was very clean and close to the beach/restaurants. There was nobody on staff to check in, they just sent you a code to use on the door. It was an old renovated hotel that had decent furnishings. As others have mentioned the floors are not level and the entry doors are very old. All around good option.'

'There is a front and back to the rental units. Once we figured it out, it was no problem settling in. It's also a nice walk to the beach. We enjoyed our stay.'

'Ideal location very close to the beach and walkable to plenty of excellent bars/restaurants/shops. Having both bath towels AND beach towels set on each bed upon arrival was such a nice touch, I've yet to come across another rental that does this. The kitchen was well stocked, and all door codes and passwords were spot on. Sometimes it's the little things, but it's amazing how many rental units can miss this. The beds were comfy, balcony has a great view, and we had everything we needed and more....

The host is accommodating, prompt to respond, and was very hospitable from beginning to end. The location is perfect with relation to beach access and other attractions. 'We made our reservation with the intent of seeing the wild horses. We were VERY pleased with our accommodations. This is NOT your typical, worn beach house! It was new, and VERY WELL loved & taken care of. Immaculately clean, and well stocked with just about anything you could ever need to make your vacay stay great. Location is killer! Short walk to the beach, Currituck lighthouse, Whalehead, the park, Maritime Museum, Historic Corolla shops, restaurants… and just a couple of miles South...
