Good Stay overall

Slightly dated villa. Some of the electric switches didn't work. The villa could do with updating. However the host was very good and we enjoyed the stay.

Beautiful villa and gardens needs lots of money spent on it!

The prroperty was beautiful and massive and the garden and pool were perfect. However the beds were so so uncomfortable and one was so old it had rusted through and completely collapsed. There was no cleaning equipment at all no way of keeping it clean except by buying everything - which we did. We had to leave it all there. There wasn't even salt or pepper or sugar or anything at all! We had to spend a fortune on essentials and then leave them there. When it came to leaving the host got angry with us as the bed was broken and the showers as well - because they were so old! She called us bad people and that she had more guests coming which is hardly our fault but she left a sour taste im afraid i cannot recommend. It needs a lot of money spending on it and she should leve essentials for guests to use. She sould also learn some. Ustomer service!

Perfect holiday in a perfect villa

To summarize our stay in the villa in one word: PERFECT. We traveled with a group of 10 people (6 adults and 4 children). From the first contact with the owners when we were planning our holiday until the moment we left te villa everything was perfect: - accurate and quick response to all our questions by email before our arrival; - friendly and warm welcome on arrival. - good contact with the owners during our stay in person (they live in the property next door but are very respectful to your privacy) or by mobile phone and/or email; - villa looked exactly in real as the pictures on the website and is very well equipped; - cleaning of the property (2 times/week), pool/garden (almost everyday in the very early morning - we heard the gardener sometimes watering the lawn/plants or cleaning the pool but never in a loud or annoying manner; - changing of the towels and bed linen together with the cleaning of the villa. - Most of the bed rooms have an ensuite bathroom so no waiting times there and plenty of privacy when you travel with multiple families. The villa is located in a rural area with lots of privacy (entirely fenced) and no noise of neighbors, traffic, etc. To get around you do need a car: - supermarket (10 mins) - beaches (Albufeira 15 mins / Gale 20 mins / Falesia 25 mins) - town (Albufeira 15 mins) There is plenty of parking space for the car(s) in the courtyard. We would highly recommend the villa to people looking for a relaxing holiday in a luxurious and private environment that is still very close to the required services (supermarket, town, beaches, etc.). Once again we would like to thank the Praia family for making this an unforgettable summer holiday for us.

Excellent house

A spacious and beautiful house, able to accommodate 11 to 15 guests easily. Very clean ground and swimming pool . We had absolutely wonderful time. A small suggestion , if the host can keep few tea bags and some sugar, guests can have some tea until they get access to the shop. Because there is no shops in a walkable distance . Otherwise the host was very attentive and helpful . We would highly recommend this house

Blissful seclusion!

On arrival the lovely Maria gave us a quick tour, and it is surprisingly even larger than the pictures show. The location was easy enough to find and as peaceful and secluded as described. Despite this the villa is only 5 mins drive from an excellent supermarket/ fish market/ and local bars and shops. If you drive or go by taxi Albuferia centre and a lovely marina are only 15 mins (& euros) away. The one small disappointment we had that being probably the first visitors of the season the fresh pool water was too cold to use for the first few days but soon warmed up. This wasn’t a massive negative for us as the Villa’s well laid out and beautiful gardens and relaxing areas were just what we needed! Thank you so much for our lovely stay! And hopefully see you soon. Kind regards Tom, Sarah, Becki, and Jamie

Absolutely fantastic

The property was exactly like the description. Actually we were even more impressed. The villa is really top, as we arrived we couldn't believe it. The garden really good mantained and the house just beautiful and clean. We spent there two amazing weeks, nice weather, nice people, good food and a lot more. We traveled with an another family, in total we were 10 people. The house was cleaned once a week and even we got new towels. Thank you Maria for everything, we just had such a wonderful time in your villa. Hope to see you again. Greetings from the suisse people. Rebekka, Thomas, Sandra, Marcello and 6 kids.
