We stay at a lot of Candlewood Suites. When we went to our room the door would not open. The desk clerk had to use her body to push the door open. We asked for a room with a door easier to open and was told this was fine. Inside I had to use my body weight to pull the door open. The next morning I requested maintenance and they attempted to fix it. After a couple of openings and closings it was back to the same issue.
The AC didn't work unless you put it on 60 and hope your room was get to 70 before it kicked off and had to be turned off and on again.
There were other small issues. This Candlewood does not compare to others we have stayed in over the years.
