'Unfortunately while this property is lovely the stay was very inconvenient and I wish I’d stayed in a hotel instead. Cos it’s not a hotel and therefore has no reception or left luggage facility I had to drag my bag around Bath for most of the weekend. Check in is at 3pm and, unlike a hotel, there was nowhere in the property to leave luggage. Check out was ludicrously early at 10am so I had to take my luggage with me then. 'The hotel offers free parking, which is a big plus as we traveled from Belgium to England by car. It takes only 10 minutes on foot to reach the centre of Bath, so we used the car only when visiting the surrounding villages. Our room was very spacious, and the nice surprise was the Nespresso machine. Also, the breakfast was delicious, and vegetarian options are available.'

'The place was great but we just happened to go during a historical heat wave and there was no AC ! The staff were super helpful and gave us a Dyson fan but the heat was unbearable at times . The place is nice and very close to all attractions. The room was cozy and comfortable . We would have eaten there but instead looked for dining places that had AC so we could cool off !'

'A very beautiful and unique hotel in a spectacular area just away from the tourist drag of Bath city center. The hotel has alot of character and period decor. Its an old hotel, so the heating was nit on, understandibly so as it was May. The plumbing is also not updated, so there is a hot tap and a cold tap at the sink. The facilities are adequate for a shorter stay. The hotel is being upgraded, so there was alot of noise above us for our 2 night stay. The staff are friendly and helpful.'

'We just loved this place. This hotel is within walking distance from the train station. They do offer complimentary luggage pickup, but it was not available when we arrived because we requested it too late. This is a beautiful boutique hotel with a vintage radio, and vintage record player and standing tub. They offer complimentary cookies, drinks and ice cream. The staff was very helpful and extremely pleasant. We had a great time.'
