Uitzicht op kasteel Boldt!

  • Wij heten u welkom in het The Ledges Resort & Marina! Wij zijn gevestigd aan de St. Lawrence rivier tegenover Boldt Castle. We hebben uitzicht op het kasteel, Sunken Rock Lighthouse en het belangrijkste vaargeul. We hebben dekken, dokken, hangmatten en tuinhuisjes. Ze zijn geweldig voor het bekijken van schepen of vissen. We hebben onlangs gerenoveerd in de grond zwembad. Er zijn buiten vuurkorven waar je onder de sterren kunt opwarmen. We zorgen zelfs voor het brandhout! Er zijn veel open gazons om te vangen, gazonspelletjes te spelen of gewoon een wandeling te maken.

    De Ledges biedt een rustig uitje met 6 hectare aangelegd terrein langs het water. Hoewel het terrein privacy en veel ruimte biedt, bevinden we ons niet op een afgelegen locatie. Het is een snelle en gemakkelijke wandeling naar het centrum. We zijn dicht bij alle attracties. Op de Ledges heb je het beste van twee werelden; ontspanning en gemak!

    The Island Cottage is een studio-cottage met een eigen terras. Het heeft een kingsize bed. Er is ook een queensize slaapbank met een traagschuimmatras. Het heeft een middelgrote koelkast / vriezer, koffiezetapparaat, waterkoker en magnetron binnen. Er is een 42 "HDTV met Directv satelliettelevisie.
    Op het overdekte terras bevindt zich een buitenkeuken. Het beschikt over een gasgrill, gasfornuis, koelkast / vriezer en roestvrij aanrecht.

    Luxe shampoo, conditioner en handzeep worden geleverd door Beekman 1802. De bedden zijn opgemaakt met fris beddengoed. Badhanddoeken, handdoeken en washandjes zijn ook aanwezig.

    Alles is voorbereid en klaar om uw vakantie ontspannen en comfortabel te maken. Breng jezelf maar!

Nice place

Nice place to stay. It's a couple of blocks from the center of town and quite a walk but you can drive into town quite easily. Just hard to find parking in town during the busy season

Beautiful location & homey feel

This beautiful location on the river is a beautiful perfect spot for intimate getaways or a family vacation! I booked 4 locations as the Ledges Resort which housed 24 of my friends and family for a long weekend. We were all quite impressed with the staff, amenities, and overall experience. We walked to Main Street for dinner almost every night during our stay.

So much awesome in one place

This was our first time to A Bay and the Ledges and we loved it. We stayed in the Island cottage and we used the outdoor kitchen almost the entire time we were there because it was so incredible. The grounds are impeccably kept and the owners are super nice. We used the kayaks and hammocks but didn’t have enough time to use the unground pool this time! It was a cute, simple, affordable getaway that left us with not much else to do but have a good time and we soooooo look forward to going back!

Nice week away.

Island Cottage is basically an efficiency apartment for two best suited for the warmer months, if you plan to do your own cooking. There us heat and it works well so when eating out the property would work for all seasons. The kitchen area (stove, grill, small fridge, supplies) is on a covered but not screen in porch. There is a small kitchenette inside with a microwave, coffee pot and another small fridge. Management was responsive to reported problems and were on top of them quickly. When we arrived, we discovered that the small fridge on the porch was running but not cooling. It was replaced with a functioning unit mid-week. Given the odd size of the fridge this is impressive. They also offered the use of a Yetti cooler and ice until they could install the new unit. Friendly and fery customer service minded. The property is well groomed with lots of yard area. There are fire pits behind each cottage/cabin. There is a small area with a couple of chairs where guests can sit at the water front between two neighboring private properties. The view of the shipping channel from this cottage is over the top of the boats in the marina. Not impossible/not perfect. The gazebo on the ledge or the area by the shore mentioned above provide a better view. The addition of some play ground equipment might make the area a bit more child friendly. There are some cottages away from the water for those who find that a concern.

Sehr schöne Lage am Wasser, toller Ausblick aus der Außenküche. Sehr gepflegtes großes Gelände, der Pool ist ebenfalls super.

Wonderful !

We had a rough year and we’re in much need of some quiet relaxation. This cottage was perfect for us. The owners and staff were exceptional! I think it will be an annual event for us.

Comfortable bed, clean room and great view.

Overall the stay was very nice, a well stocked kitchen area, clean rooms, comfortable bed and great views. My only concern is the listing was for a King bed & I'm pretty sure there was a Queen is the room. My husband is very tall so we always try to book King rooms.

A Nice Suprise!

This resort is right on the water with a close view of Boldt Castle. The grounds and cottages are immaculate. Don't be weary staying so close to a marina, we were never disrupted by the boats or noise. A very quiet, relaxing resort. The property owners thought of everything, dishes, utensils, fire pits with wood, hammocks, gazebo to watch the sunset, kayaks, an area for fishing, off street parking. It was just what we were looking for and will definitely go back again!

Dynamite time in A-bay

This was the perfect little getaway in a perfect spot. The outdoor kitchen was awesome and being on water was unbeatable. Close to town and in walking distance from pretty much everything. Dave, the groundskeeper, was a cool dude, very helpful and friendly.
