I like the hotel.. The presidential suite was so big and the bed was so comfortable .. but don’t ever buy a pizza from the hotel it was soooooo bad..

Very poor amenities, fair view and bad location for anyone who is searching for enjoyment. Also very you will restricted with extremely limited options while you are at the hotel nothing to do expect staying in your room. The food also wasn't as expected. No sea access anywhere which is the easiest option they could make to partner up with Mamoura Beach and give their residences this option .

Hotel was clean nice pillows and mattress and I loved the spacious shower. Only advise do not book on the first floor next to the pool too noisy and one thing I didn’t like was there was a door to the next room even though it’s locked from both ends you can hear the other people talk.

Nice hotel. Good swimming pools, gym and nice rooms. Steam room, sauna and jacuzzi shouldn’t be an extra charge to use but nonetheless great options at a hotel. Amazing breakfast and WiFi. The front desk receptionist, Alaa, was a really big help getting us settled in. He definitely went above and beyond to which is what you want to see from the first person you meet at the hotel.

Disappointing .on first sight it looks good. Staff where neutral verging on unfriendly. Room initially looked nice then we discovered the sensor to say your in the room had to be jammed with a piece of paper,this was done by the porter, bed was uncomfortable,its base felt worn out. The shower was dirty, especially the door and it leaked badly,rest of the bathroom wasn't much better. Yes there is a pool, a cold pool, if you use it there is no where to change, this means tou have to go through the hotel,including reception area, go to the lifts and then to 11th floor,where the rooms are, wet and just with your towel. Yes the hotel is not expensive but still managed to be disappointing. We would never stay again and could not recommend

Lorsque je suis arrivé le check-in n'était pas prêt (j'avais pourtant respecté l'horaire), je me suis donc installé au restaurant, on m'a donné la carte, personne n'est venu prendre ma commande. Un serveur est passé à proximité, je lui ai expliqué vouloir un perrier. Il m'a lancé quelques mots et est parti. Rien n'est arrivé sur la table en une heure de temps. Arrivé dans la chambre, les bouteilles du mini bar sont étalées sur le bureau et au sol. J'ai aussi trouvé une aiguille sur le sol...sympa ! Si le lit est certes confortable, un moteur situé juste au-dessus se déclenchait assez souvent...sommeil léger s'abstenir. J'avais demandé une chambre calme...et ma chambre était séparée de la chambre voisine par une porte : absolument pas d'isolation avec la famille d'à côté. J'ai réussi à m'endormir à plus de deux heures du matin pour être réveillé à huit heures...et en chanson s'il vous plait. J'ai appelé le room service pour commander une salade et un plat...toujours rien au bout d'une heure. J'ai du rappeler, finalement servi une heure et demi après ma commande initiale. La douche n'est pas assez large, personne normale ou forte, mieux vaut s'abstenir. Des odeurs d'égouts dans la salle de bain. La chambre est située au 11ème étage et la vue donne sur un immense terrain vague. Connexion wifi très moyenne. Voila...

I wouldn't stay here
I arrived with my wife and the first thing that they told us is that we had to pay a difference because I got from hotels.com a room that was advertised for Egyptians and not for internationals. I tried to complain with the manager but he barely spoke English. We went to the room and the rooms was big and comfortable, however, like many many places in Egypt, smelled like cigarette. The water of the shower was cold, I called reception and they never did anything to fix it. TV does not have any channels in English, just Arabic. Internet is really poor. Breakfast was mediocre and pools were closed. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone that is looking for good service. However, I can't be unfair, the rooms are spacious and well decorated.

Clean/new, but was expecting a better experience
Overall I would say that while the hotel appeared new and clean, and the breakfast was good (although not too much variety), there were other areas of the hotel that left me disappointed, particularly the service of the staff. For example, I had requested a king-size bed in my reservation but was given two twin beds instead. The Internet also did not appear to work and despite calling the front desk and their resetting of the router, it did not do anything to get it working. When I was walking through one of the corridors with my suitcase in one hand and a stroller in the other and a staff employee saw me struggling to open a door that goes into the lobby, instead of offering to simply open the door (or help me with one of the bags), they simply stood and watched, waiting for me to get through so that he could pass by me! I found it strange that a service-oriented business such as a hotel would not pay attention to these things, which I think make a difference in a customer's overall experience at a hotel. So while I consider the hotel acceptable, I would look elsewhere if I was to return to Alexandria for a trip (which I hope to in the near future).

Stayed two nights at the Montaza. The staff were so helpful and friendly. Our room was beautiful with the pool just outside our room!!! Breakfast was lavish and with an extensive choice of food. Thank you for making our stay memorable. 😍😍
