Family get together
The whole weekend was what we expected beautiful area loads of walks. Murray and Ali were extremely helpful with info. Would definitely use again.

Family get together!
The property was perfect for our needs of spending some quality time together in a more than comfortable environment. Each of us had our own bedroom and bathroom with large, comfortable beds and excellent showers. The log burning fire and amazing countryside views made staying inside a luxury. The many walks and country pubs nearby kept us entertained. Boating on Loch Lomond was less than 15 mins away. Finally, we must mention our accommodating hosts, Murray and Ali who were there to welcome us and help throughout our stay. From electric car charging points to borrowing rice & purchasing more logs. Thank you!! Perfect mini break!

Positief: Netheid, voorzieningen en staat van de accommodatie en faciliteiten
schönes großes Ferienhaus neueren Baujahres mit ausreichend Platz für unsere mitreisenden 3 Parteien. Gut fanden wir die vielen Bäder. Mitten in der Natur mit tollem Ausblick. Nette und hilfsbereite Vermieter, die uns sogar ein Paar Snacks für den ersten Abend vorbereitet haben und viele Ausflugstipps gegeben haben. Guter Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge am Loch Lomond. Der Urlaub war sehr schön hier, würden wieder kommen

Very well specified property with terrific proprietors
This property over delivers on facilities, cleanliness and the owners could not have been more helpful both before we arrived and during our stay. Thoroughly recommend this property for a chilled out of the way stay with beautiful scenery, very quiet location and yet close to Loch Lomond and other beauty spots.

Great weekend retreat
Cottage exactly as presented. Well designed, warm and a great retreat, whilst still being accessible to amenities. Good location to climb Ben Lomond. Owners very helpful about resources in the area. We had a great Sunday lunch at the Old Mill in Killearn. Thankyou we had a lovely relaxing weekend

Absolutely stunning 5 Star location & property
Amazing property set in a stunning location, within a 10 minute drive to Loch Lomond. Top end quality, stunning views and fully equipped home with everything you could wish for. Private and secluded, amazing, would totally recommend to anyone thinking of visiting the area. Owners Murray & Alli, made our visit complete.

The Appletree cottage is perfect!
We had a great stay at Appletree Cottage- the hosts were lovely and the cottage was spotless and had everything we could need for a great stay. It’s also nicely located so that getting to Balmaha and Balloch are both easy car journeys- we would definitely stay there again!

Beautiful property lacking absolutely nothing - very helpful and friendly hosts
We enjoyed a great 3 nights at the property. Everything was as advertised and instructions to find this gem couldn't have been clearer. Lovely new building set in fantastic landscape made this stay absolutely enjoyable even with mixed weather. A perfect property to de-stress whilst not having to do without luxuries such as en-suite bathrooms for every bedroom, fully equipped kitchen and wifi. We will come back!

FABULEUX !!!!
Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. Le gîte est magnifique, très bien situé pour découvrir la région du Loch Lomond . Les propriétaires sont très accueillants et se sont rendus très disponibles pour nous donner toutes les indications. Le gîte est excellemment bien équipé, on se croirait à la maison.... Nous avons également très apprécié le panier d'accueil . C'est un hébergement fortement recommandé et si nous en avons l'occasion nous n'hésiterons pas à y retourner.

Dream home close to Loch Lomond
We had an incredible three night stay at the Appletree Cottage. Beautifully and comfortably furnished with amazing views of the farm. Murray and Alli were wonderful hosts who greeted us and gave us a tour of the home. Cannot recommend enough! Hope to return in the future.

Beautiful relaxing stay with lovely hosts
Our stay at Appletree Cottage was a delight. From the moment we arrived, rather tired and with our two rambunctious young boys in tow, Murray and Alli proved to be wonderful hosts, providing some tasty welcome treats and showing us around. Their property is glorious, we loved waking in the morning to enjoy breakfast with the scenic Scottish vista from the enormous picture windows as a backdrop. The place was spotless, the bedrooms comfy and warm with lovely ensuite bathrooms, the kitchen with all mod cons if you fancied cooking a feast! Oh, and the opportunity to enjoy Netflix, which our boys particularly loved... The only downside was we would have loved to have stayed longer!
