Merci pour vos commentaires, je vais répondre à toutes vos préoccupations. 1) Je ne comprends pas comment il est possible de ne pas trouver la bonne entrée. C’est vraiment très clairs sur les photos. Il n'est pas nécessaire de lire les instructions pour trouver l'appartement, quelle que soit la langue. Il y a 8 photos montrant le nom de la rue, la rue, l'entrée exacte de l'immeuble, la boîte avec les clés, les ascenseurs, la porte de l'appartement. 2) L'immeuble est ancien, c’est vrai. Je ne suis propriétaire que de l'appartement, pas de l'immeuble. 3) Je suis au courant du problème de l'auvent qui pose problème et qui sera remplacé dès que possible. Désolé. 4) Balcon : Le balcon est nettoyé au jet d'eau entre les réservations. Malheureusement, même s'il y a un jour ou deux d'intervalle, le balcon peut être sali par la poussière et les mouettes. Mais à l'avenir, je ferai en sorte de le nettoyer au jet juste avant l'arrivée des clients. Cordialement, Cian.

Thank you for your review and for pointing out a few maintenance issues. Like any rental there is wear and tear and my Apartment is checked thoroughly after each let. Occasionally, in the busy season things get missed. However, I have no control over the maintenance of the building., much as I would like to have. Parking is never an issue, there is parking right next to the building and if not there is ample parking in a parking lot by simply crossing the road from the apartment. It is no distance and it is perfectly secure.

Thank you for your kind and detailed review Pamela. I visit the property regularly and go through the place with a fine comb to check that everything is working. I was there just before your arrival and the awning was working fine. But, I will have the management company double check it to see if there is some issue. I have also forwarded your comments on the cleanliness of the bathroom and kitchen to them as this is a surprise to me. I have only ever received positive reviews on how the property was presented. Thank you for your review Debbie. Washing machine instructions are in the Welcome booklet, however I have made a note to put these on the machine itself to simplify the process for future guests. And I will do the same for the microwave so thanks for pointing this out. I do have BBC & ITV and if there was an issue when you were there that was the time to mention it. The guy who installed the dish is my neighbour so any issue could have been sorted in 5 minutes. I am very much hands on and pride myself on quality customer service. But, I cannot resolve an issue I don’t know about, it is therefore pointless and unfair to mention this in a review when you are back home.

All of the above minor quibbles were addressed and resolved in several e-mails during the rental period which makes this review unnecessary and redundant. But, for the sake of clarity I will address each item. Also from emails received the fact that “the building was fun to find and the key access a puzzle” remains a mystery to me. It is the tallest building in Luz with the main supermarket in the same block. The Home Away website contains Google Earth photos and coordinates. Key access details are also very clear. 1) The building is old and has seen better days Not relevant, the apartment is what I rent, not the building. And in fact the building was completely rendered and repainted last year. 2) Bed Linen was sparse. This is simply not true. This is a standard bed set up in any rental accomodation or hotel in Europe and North America. And if more bed linen is needed it is always left out for the client’s convenience without there being any need to contact me. 3) Apartment needs maintenance. No details given so again this comment is redundant. Like any rental there is constant maintenance required and each and every item is thoroughly checked after each rental. If a bulb is gone it is replaced immediately. If there is a plumbing issue a plumber is called. 4) WiFi didn’t work for 24 hours. The Wi-fi signal is perfect 99.9% of the time and if there is the rare occasion that the signal is erratic that is unfortunately completely out of my control. This can happen anywhere and whilst it may be a minor irritant that is really all it ever should be.
