Pros: Aunque cuando llegamos nos pareció más antigua que lo que mostraban las fotos, al final disfrutamos del alojamiento.Tiene de todo lo necesario. Tiene un montón de menaje y todo tipo de pequeños electrodomésticos. En la zona de la piscina hay nevera propia, y un congelador enorme en la lavandería. Juegos para niños en la sala, y disfrutan mucho con la pequeña piscina superior. Contras: Piscina grande muy profunda en más de la mitad de superficie. La cama doble de la habitación de abajo tiene un colchón algo incómodo, pero las otras dos están bien. Iluminacion escasa en la zona del comedor y zona de barbacoa.

Wunderbarer Urlaub in Carvoeiro
Wir hatten eine wunderbare Woche in sehr schöner Unterkunft mit tollem Pool und sehr schöner Umgebung. Das Haus ist mit allem Ausgestattet was man braucht. Die Inneneinrichtung ist zwar schon in die Jahre gekommen, aber alles sehr sauber. Das Bad bei den unteren Zimmern könnte mal renoviert werden (Dusche in Badewanne) aber das ist der einzige Kritikpunkt. Wir haben uns sehr gut erholt und würden das Haus wieder buchen.

Traumhaft schön
Casa del Rey ist eine wunderschöne, großzügige Ferienvilla mit einem großen mediterranen Garten und einem fantastischen Poolbereich in ruhiger Lage. Wir haben uns sofort wohl und zu Hause gefühlt. Trotz der Größe der Villa ist alles sehr sauber und gepflegt und es gibt nichts was es nicht gibt. Besonders die Küche ist sehr reichhaltig und mit allem, was man auch nur im Entferntesten benötigen könnte, ausgestattet. Wie bereits in anderen Kommentaren erwähnt, hat der Masterbedroom keine Tür. Dies empfanden wir jedoch nicht als störend, da das Bett auf der anderen Seite des Treppenaufgangs steht. Das Badezimmer am Masterbedroom ist sehr groß, genau wie die Dachterrasse, die einen herrlichen Blick auf die Umgebung, das Meer und abends auf den Sonnenuntergang bietet. Hervorzuheben ist der außergewöhnliche Poolbereich der Casa del Rey. Schon allein die Form und die doppelstöckige Anordnung sind besonders. Die Kaskade lässt sich per Knopfdruck beliebig oft starten und es macht einfach nur Spaß in dem großen und tiefen Pool zu schwimmen, zu toben oder die Seele baumeln zu lassen. Auch den angrenzenden Grillbereich haben wir mehrmals genutzt (kleiner Tipp: im 7 min entfernten Intermarché gibt es leckeren, frischen Fisch). Die Villa liegt nur wenige Fahrminuten von verschiedenen, tollen Stränden entfernt. Insgesamt war unser Aufenthalt in der Casa del Rey einfach nur traumhaft schön und die Woche leider viel zu schnell vorbei.

La villa de Madalena est tout simplement magnifique. Vraiment le top du top. Je pense que c'est la meilleure location dans laquelle j'ai séjourné. La communication était également très bonne.

Fantastic villa and idilic location
This villa had everything we needed and more! The Villa design and decor is amazing and the made us smile the whole time. The shaded outdoor eating area was superb for breakfast and dinner. The pool was very clean, as was the Villa. We are hoping to return next year, but if everyone loves it as much as we did, I doubt it will be available! 😎😎😎

Beautiful, calm and tranquil
We really enjoyed our stay at Casa Del Rei. They kitchen was full equipped with anything you could every need. Very easy to use washing facilities. The outside pool bar was a bonus for keeping drinks chilled. High chair & cot available for little ones. The area was so quiet and we felt very safe. The pool was stunning, albeit on some days I would have preferred it to be heated but that’s just luxury. The little baby pool was wonderful to just lay in and was a little warmer due to the sun heating it up. There’s so much space to be able to spread out and have your own little area. I only have two things to comment that I would change slightly, one being a pool table or something for the adults to play and second being the decor / art being modernised. It’s a lovely home, that’s been lived in and cherished. We would definitely stay again with more family members, thank you for having us.

Vacances magnifiques
La maison est fabuleuse, propre et correspond au descriptif de l'annonce. L'entretien (ménage, ..) effectué très régulièrement et de manière discrète et sûr. L'endroit est calme et reposant, on peut y passer des journées et soirées magnifiques. Le coin piscine est très bien aménagé et il ne manque rien (sauf les boissons à ajouter au frigo :) ). Enfin, la propriétaire est très sympathique, chaleureuse, disponible et aide en toutes circonstances. Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir. Merci

Flott feriehus ved Algarve kysten.
Boligen kan absolutt anbefales. Vi hadde en flott uke der. Huset er ikke av de nyeste lenger, men må ha vært i toppklasse da det var nytt. Eiendom og hus er godt vedlikeholdt, alt er helt, rent og pent. Bassenget var flott for vår del med ungdommer i slutten av tenårene. Skulle vi bemerke en ting var det at sengene var ganske harde, men der er sikkert smaken ulik. Kort kjøretur til nærliggende byer, butikker og strender. Vi kan gjerne dra tilbake både til området og dette huset.

Honeymoon stay at the Casa Del Rey
We had a lovely stay ay the Villa, which was actually our belated honeymoon (delayed due to Covid 19). We had a nice surprise when we got to the villa of a bottle of bubbly waiting for us. The villa has everything you could want for eating in, we did have a few meals in, but mainly went out the eat, and there are plenty of places to visit within a short drive away (less than 30mins) to find restaurant's. Lovely views from the villa of the surrounding country side and the sea. You have the choice of either a short drive to a number of beaches, or use the villa's great swimming pool. It is not 'modern' in design and is a bit quirky with all it curved walls (and the cow), so if you are prepared for that, then you should be very happy. The only down side was we would have liked as softer mattress, but bed firmness is down to personnel preference. Would have been nice to stay a 3rd week!

Wunderbarer Urlaub!
Das große Plus dieser Villa ist der wunderschöne Außenbereich. Es gibt viel Platz, man kann seine Liege (allesamt neu und mit bequemen Auflagen) jederzeit in der Sonne oder im Schatten aufstellen. Der Pool ist überdurchschnittlich groß und wird sehr gut gepflegt. Der Blick auf das Meer sowohl von der überdachten Terrasse als auch vom Poolbereich ist wunderschön! Die wenigen Nachbarhäuser stören überhaupt nicht und es ist herrlich ruhig. Die Klimaanlage arbeitet sehr gut, ist jedoch nicht individuell einstellbar und in einem der Schlafzimmer zu laut, um sie nachts laufen zu lassen. Das war bei unserem Aufenthalt (August) auch nicht nötig, da es nachts deutlich kühler war als tagsüber und ansonsten mehrere Ventilatoren zur Verfügung standen. Die Einrichtung ist zwar sehr wie in den 70er Jahren, aber dafür sauber und gepflegt. Ungewöhnlich ist, das es oben an der Treppe zum Masterbedroom keine Tür gibt, das stand nicht in der Beschreibung. Die Küche ist sehr reichhaltig ausgestattet. Zweimal in der Woche kommt ein Putzteam vorbei, wechselt Handtücher und Bettwäsche und entsorgt den Müll, der übrigens genauestens getrennt wird. Ein toller Inklusive-Service und die Damen waren ausgesprochen nett und effektiv. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und uns wirklich gut erholt! Danke auch an Madalena für die nette Kommunikation!

A lovely family stay at a great villa
We had a great week at the villa, the pool was the highlight for our young family, perfect for children with the added bonus of a baby pool, and the villa itself fully equipped with everything we needed, a great bbq area and several outdoor dining spaces and pool bar! Very clean and spacious with lovely views, a quiet location but very close to the town, a car is a must but only a short drive to everywhere we wanted to go. Marinha beach is beautiful and so close by. We had some amazing meals in Carvoeiro, lots of great restaurants to choose from with beautiful sea views. The hosts were very helpful and answered any questions we had very quickly, and were easy to get hold of if we needed anything. We loved our time at the villa and would love to return.

We had a wonderful stay at this property. The pool and outside area were outstanding and the property was very well equipped. The poolside bar area with fridge was used extensively and saved us having to go into the house whenever we needed refreshments. The beds appeared to be very hard but proved to be extremely comfortable. Everything was as described and we had the added benefit of seeing 1970s interior design at it's best. It really was an interesting property and we were still discovering new bits and bobs right up to our last day. We will definately be visiting again.

The Pool area is the best feature of the property, the interia needs updating the wifi only lasted two days and was needed for important business use, we were met on arrival by the property manager who was very helpful we made the best of our stay there and had some lovely times by the pool, taking everything into consideration we dont think we will stay again.

We had a great 2 weeks in this villa. It's so well equipped, we were still finding new things after 2 weeks! Only downsides were - the air con didn't work at all (it was advertised with air con). The swimming pool lights didn't work at all. The jet bath didn't work. WiFi was paid for. Neighbouring dogs barked all night long. However, we had an amazing time and would book this house again.

perfect location got a peaceful retreat but yet bear to shops and beaches too
villa was as described although we couldn’t work air conditioning but used fans provided instead. very well managed and equipped. the shower in the top floor leaked onto bathroom floor but again there was a plunger provided! Overall felt it was worth money and the owner couldn’t have done more including sending a cake and wine for my sons 21 st birthday. It was really delicious

Fantastic villa in quiet secluded position
We spent a lovely week in this Villa . The master bedroom on the top floor is superb with views to the sea , and all the rooms are well maintained . The pool is amazing and the covered terrace is perfect for al fresco dining . The beaches , supermarkets and restaurants are only a short drive away and Carvoeiro town and the coastal paths are lovely in the evening . Everything you could possibly want is catered for in this villa , we will certainly return again . Many thanks for a great relaxing week .
