Basic kamer met alles wat je nodig hebt. Het was bovenal goed schoon en werd elke dag gepoetst door een lieve poetsvrouw die elke dag haar best doet. Baliemedewerker Bruno is zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam met alles dat je nodig hebt of wil weten. Het hotel is vrij gehorig maar hier hebben we niet veel last van gehad. Ligt in een heerlijk rustig straatje met restaurantjes en barretjes op loopafstand. Het oude drukke centrum is 7 minuten lopen maar eigenlijk hoef je de straat niet uit voor lekker eten en vermaak. Heerlijk strand is een paar minuutjes lopen, je kunt er met de lift naar beneden daar dit veel trappen zijn naar het strand. Kortom, heerlijk om tot rust te komen!

Prachtig uitzicht!
Prachtige locatie, mooi uitkijkend op de zee en loopafstand naar het strand! Had twin room met uitzicht op zee, beter krijg je het niet.

Good value, far enough away from the busy old town, but close enough to walk to. Lots of restaurants nearby and a supermarket a few blocks away. The facility is next door to the cat sanctuary.

Positiv: nur die Aussicht und die Lage direkt am Meer. Ausserdem hat es einen Kühlschrank in den Zimmern. Negativ: Es ist verständlich, dass man für diesen Preis keinen Luxus erwarten kann. Leider gab es aber diverse Mängel, die trotz günstigem Preis inakzeptabel sind. -zu kleines Bett für ein Doppelzimmer -Sauberkeit, unter dem Bett wurde ziemlich sicher während der ganzen Woche nie geputzt, der Aschenbecher wirde nicht täglich geleert,Badewanne zum Teil schmutzig -Dusche war eine Katastrophe,kaum Wasserdruck vorhanden, das Wasser war zwischendurch kalt, obwohl heiss eingestellt -Es ist extrem hellhörig -meine Schwiegermutter hat schmutzige, nasse Badetücher (auf einem Haufen) in die Badewanne gelegt, damit sie ausgetauscht werden.Sie wurden nicht ausgetauscht, sondern einfach zum trocknen auf dem Balkon aufgehängt -die einen Zimmer haben einen Zahlentresor andere sind mit Schlüssel. Bei denen muss 20 Euro als Depot bezahlt werden -keine richige Decke vorhanden, nur ein dünnes Leintuch - das Personal ist sehr unfreundlich.Beim Checkout teilte meine Schwiegermutter dem Rezeptionisten mit,dass Schmuck aus dem Zimmer verschwunden ist.Sie wurde nicht ernst genommen und man sagte, dass das nicht sein kann. Wir wurden nicht einmal gefragt, ob wir einen angenehmen Aufenthalt hatten. -Einen Tag vor der Ankunft wurden wir gefragt, wann wir dort sein werden. Wir teilten mit, zwischen 14.00 und 15.00. Dann standen wir vor verschlossenen Türen und ein Zimmer war noch nicht fertig.

Staying at Frontomar in Abufeira
The accommodation was good. All building and rooms have a very neat deco. They cleanliness in my room, all along my stay, was superb. The location was superb by the beach and Penaco Elevator for beach access. The hotel manager and/ or staff were rarely at the reception desk which was all odd to me. First time ever but I presume they were accessible at the ring of the bell. Despite the extreme heat that I could not get used I did enjoy my stay at Albufeira. Climate change may change our holidays habits all together, and end up taking holidays in Autumn or Spring only.

Inesistente il rapporto tra albergatore e ospite in quanto lui non c’è mai, ma comunque gentile per quel poco che lo abbiamo visto. La struttura è abbastanza moderna, così come la camera. Tutto pulito e gli asciugamani vengono cambiati ogni giorno. Ottima posizione in quanto si trova a pochissimi passi dal centro di Albufeira Old Town, lontana però dal rumore della movida serale, infatti si dorme benissimo e senza disturbi di alcun tipo. Camere molto poco insonorizzate ma non è stato assolutamente un problema per noi. A pochi passi dalla struttura ci sono due ristoranti, uno tipico portoghese (che non consigliamo) e uno indiano, dove poter mangiare l’autentica cucina italiana a poco prezzo, con ottima qualità del cibo e personale molto gentile. Da evitare il bar Sugar Rabbit Kaffe in quanto per una colazione in due abbiamo speso €13.50, un po’ tanto eccessivo.

A great little find!
We booked this as a pretty much last minute decision thing and didn't expect too much due to the time of year and late booking. I'm glad to say this exceeded our expectations in every department. The location was perfect, bruno and the staff were very helpful and could not be nicer, the place itself was spotless and well looked after. Everything we needed was a short walking distance or a quick taxi ride. I would most certainly return to Frentomar. Keep up the good work Frentomar! 10/10. :)

Hotel sencillo pero bien situado
El hotel está un poco apartado del bullicio del centro de Albufeira, pero andando se llega en 5 minutos. Sin problema de ruido para dormir. Al lado del hotel hay un ascensor gratis para bajar y subir de la playa. No tiene parking, pero se puede aparcar en los alrededores. Nosotros hemos estado en el mes de junio. Puede que en julio y agosto haya más problemas para aparcar.
