heerlijke week in portugal
We hebben een heerlijke week gehad in Silves. Het huis is echt netjes en het was superfijn dat elke slaapkamer een badkamer erbij had met goed werkende douches/ bad. Zwembad was fantastisch en werd ook regelmatig nog schoongemaakt. Meubilair en speeltoestellen buiten zouden wat opgeknapt/ vervangen mogen worden. Prijs/kwaliteitverhouding is zeer goed

Lovely stay for big groups!
We stayed in the house with 17 persons and we loved it! The house has everything you need and the pool was very nice and refreshing. We loved the orange trees next to the house of which we could pick oranges in order to make fresh orange juice. Silves and its supermarkets are nearby, which is very convenient. Also, Eduardo was very friendly and helpful. Thank you for the nice stay!

Heel goed onderhouden woning. Alle comfort aanwezig.. alles heel goed in orde. Aangenaam zwembad, contact met de keuken. Airco in alle ruimtes. Vriendelijke eigenaars. Doen heel erg hun best. Veilig afgesloten domein. Wandelafstand van café Ingles waar je heel lekker kan gaan eten.

Great place
We had a brilliant time. The property was clean and spacious. The pool was fantastic - enjoyed by children and adults alike. There was room for people to have their own space as well as lots of different social spaces. Silves was close enough and had a range of places to eat as well as things to look at. It all had a great feel. A car is necessary to see Portimao - can recommend the boat trip. All in all, we'd recommend and would think of doing it again.

Excellent property well equipped for groups
We were very impressed with the property. Each bedroom had its own bathroom which is essential when you are a big group. The villa felt very secure. The pool is a good size and the kitchen near the pool is good for keeping refreshments. The main kitchen was very well equipped with everything you need and the large cooking pots made it easy to cater for the group. The tables both outside and inside enabled the group to sit together. The sun terrace was great for getting some peace and quiet and sitting in the evening. The villa is well located a short walk from Silves which is a lovely town with lots of facilities. Also easy access to lots of other towns and beaches. The host met us when we arrived and checked in during the week. The family we travelled with had stayed in the villa before and we would definitely recommend it again.

Les plus : Disponibilité des propriétaires. Mise a disposition d'une cuisinière avec supplément. Volumes de la maison. Orangeraie a disposition. Les moins : Donne sur route passante. Ménage moyen. Mobilier dont la salle de sport vieillissant. Eau de piscine trouble. Canalisations bouchées au bout de 2 jours dans les salles de bains du rdc. Maison qui fait le job pour famille nombreuse mais le rapport qualité/prix est élevé pour les prestations. Néanmoins nous avons été bien accueilli par des propriétaires sympathiques et disponibles.

Nous avons été étonnés de votre notation. Nous essayons toujours de résoudre au mieux quelque problème que se soit. L’eau trouble se doit à l’utilisation intensive de la piscine avec beaucoup de sauts. L’eau doit reposer. Le problème des salles de bain est normalement très simple à résoudre dès que nous sommes informés ( excès de cheveux). Quant à la salle de sport la plupart des équipements sont récents mais peut-être que son utilisation est trop intensive. Nous prenons bonne note. Nous essayons de faire mieux grâce à vos opinions.

Très bon séjour en famille !
Points positifs : Très belle villa avec grande piscine, à deux pas des commerces, parfait pour un séjour en famille ou entre amis. Jus d’orange frais tous les matins grâce à l’orangeraie juste à côté Points négatifs : Piscine « apparemment » chauffée, mais il fallait demander au gérant car la pompe à chaleur était éteinte à notre arrivée, dans notre cas nous en avons été informés au moment de notre départ, vraiment dommage de ne pas en avoir été informés plus tôt, car la chaleur n’était pas au RDV durant notre séjour.

L’annonce indique qu’il est possible de chauffer sur demande. Certains clients ne veulent pas le chauffage de la piscine. Je sais que au début de la semaine il faisait plus chaud . Le temps était moyen et le vent n’aide pas. Vous auriez pu dire qu’il faisait un peu froid.. Nous aurions agit d’immédiat.

Vacances géniales à Silves
La maison est vraiment adaptée pour les grandes familles ou groupes d’amis. Salle de bain dans chaque chambre, deux cuisines, grandes tables extérieures et intérieures, 2 barbecues… Les propriétaires sont attentifs à nos demandes et très sympathiques. Nous avons tous passé de très bonnes vacances dans cette belle propriété. Petit bémol pour la salle de sport pour laquelle il faudrait réinvestir dans quelques appareils sportifs (tapis de course, vélo, stepper). La conclusion est que nous reviendrons certainement dans cette propriété lors de notre prochain séjour dans l’Algarve.

Maison agréable pour 20 personnes mais pas privative comme indiqué dans l'annonce (plusieurs locations dans la même propriété). Les extérieurs manquent de mobilier et de parasols. Dernier point négatif, les propriétaires sont un peu trop présents.

A recommander dans l'ensemble
Bonne location, maison tres bien équipée mais beaucoup de petits problèmes (poignées de portes, persienne, interrupteurs, flexibles et portes de douche) necessitent des réparations urgentes. Beaucoup de points positifs, une salle de bains pour chaque chambre, la proximité de Silves, la grande piscine, le coin repas tres sympa nous ont permis de passer d'excellentes vacances.

Une grande maison de vacances pratique pour un grand groupe
Notre séjour au mois d'août dans cette grande maison à 20 min des belles plages de l'Algarve était réussi. Une maison pratique avec plus de chambres que nécessaires (4 couples et 9 enfants), climatisation partout, une salle de bain dans presque toutes les chambres, grande cuisine bien équipée, piscine et extérieur assez grand. La communication avec le propriétaire fut excellente avant et pendant le séjour. La bouilloire ne marchait pas, elle fut changée dans la journée. Une cuisinière venait une fois par jour nous préparer des plats portugais, service très pratique pour un grand groupe. Seul bémol pendant le séjour est la proximité de la route qui est dérangeante la journée et soirée mais pas la nuit!

Group family holiday
Just back from a fantastic holiday here. 18 in our group and the villa had plenty of space for everyone. At the start of the week we had a problem with the air conditioning which meant we were extremely hot inside the villa but Eduardo was easy to contact and worked to get the problem fixed. The children and adults alike had a great time in the spacious pool although maybe a few more loungers around it would be good for so many guests. Kitchens are well stocked with utensils etc for everyone. The bedrooms are all a good size but be aware of the door handles coming away in your hand lol We learnt not to leave any food lying out uncovered as the ants generally came pretty quick to claim it as their own!! Otherwise they weren't a problem. It is about a 10-15 minute leisurely walk into Silves where you will find Lidl and all the little touristy shops. Go further on to the Continente supermarket for best choice of food. This is better reached by car. Would definitely recommend the villa as a place for a quiet relaxing group holiday to get away from it all.

Nous sommes venus une semaine à 15 personnes, tout s'est très bien passé! accueil très chaleureux des propriètaires. Nous avions chacun notre chambre et notre salle de bain, très appréciable! nous avons eu une semaine de soleil et avons apprécié la piscine et les serviettes de plage fournies. Nous avons apprécié les repas d'Iréne qui nous a fait découvrir la cuisine locale, ainsi que le fait de pouvoir cueillir les oranges le matin pour nous faire le jus d'orange frais pour le petit déjeuner! royal!. Le prix des repas était très raisonnable.. Un grand merci encore aux propriètaires et à leur disponibilité. Et Merci Irène!!!

Great pool (could do with a few more sunbeds to cater for size of property). Location was good - could walk into Silves. Bedrooms were fine (some damp in one of the bedrooms by pool). House was a great size. Overall, would recommend.

Mixed feelings!
Eduardo kindly let us in at 11am which was a great help! The inside of the house is generallly good. The kitchen is large and well stocked with various bits of equipment etc. The upstairs bedrooms and 2 of the downstairs bedrooms are a decent size with decent sized bathrooms. The other 3 are a bit older and smaller but they do the job nonetheless. The exterior is a lot smaller than we had realised based on the the pictures. The pictures of the play equipment etc are not actually in the grounds of the house, you have to leave the house and go up the path to find them which was a bit of a shame. However, the trampoline was so dilapidated that we wouldn’t let our children on there anyway and the swings have seen a lot of use too. The biggest shame of all was that I had double checked before we booked that we could heat the pool (happy to pay extra for it!) as we go to Portugal that week each year and we know the pool is too cold for our kids (age 1 & 3) and we were told that it was possible to do so, so we booked. On arrival it transpires that the pool cannot be heated. This was a real shame for us as the pool was of course too cold for the kids which is usually their main source of entertainment. It started to warm up around 5pm just in time for dinner and getting ready for bed which was not helpful. (We did try to find another villa to move to on the second day but unfortunately could not find anywhere that already had the pool heated so would have been a waste to move.) Eduardo himself was lovely and very kind. He brought us some local custard tarts and gave some of our party a lift to town which was very kind. The location to town is good but it is on a main road. Silves is a wond Raul town. I wouldn’t stay again purely because of the pool. It is my kids holiday too and they love swimming so I always stay somewhere that the pool can be heated.

Perfect for family holiday
8 adults and 7 children, plenty of space/bedrooms. Great location as 10 minute walk into Silves-lovely historical town, with an amazing castle. Swimming pool is a great size, we used it every day! Lovely balcony -upstairs, overlooking the castle lit up at night. Would recommend the villa for large family holiday. Only downside - the umbrellas/ sunshades are looking tired/worn. Few bits and pieces need updating. Some door handles also need attention! Eduardo was always on hand to sort anything out. We had a fantastic holiday here!

propriété spacieuse avec des prestations très satisfaisantes comme la piscine , possibilité utiliser 2 lave vaisselle , 3 frigos et 3 machine à laver; Par contre améliorations à envisager : *éclairage dans salles de bains insuffisant; *manque d'état des lieux de la part du propriétaire ce qui aurait permis de découvrir 2 machines à café H.S; Enfin , satisfaction unanime pour les repas typiques préparés par Irène , cuisinère au top même si la barrière de la langue fut parfois difficile à surmonter!!!

C’est três long de faire un état des lieux exhaustif avec une si grande maison et avec tellement d’équipements. Cela prend des heures. Ce que nous faisons c’est remplacer d’immediat dans la mesure du possible les électroménagers qui ne fonctionnent pas. Cela a été votre cas. Une caution oblige aussi à un long état des lieux et les gens veulent partir et les autres veulent rentrer. Ainsi j’ai opté pour ne pas demander de caution. L’illumination est faite par leds avec plusieurs dans chaque pièce. Merci toutefois pour les conseils.

Positives Fitted 10 adults and 7 teens no problems Location great walking distance to everything Pool is a really good size Negatives We never got full access to the property until 6pm due to a mess left by the previous group (they should consider taking a deposit to prevent this happening in the future). Days later we could still smell sick in the small kitchen. The outside sun beds we cleaned ourselves Villa pictures are old and they do not reflect the current condition of everything which is tired and worn. There was no canopy cover, table or chairs on the balcony as shown in pictures (I was looking forward to for the evenings but we could not use this space at all). All canopies front and back of the house were ripped / broken. Most shower rooms had something missing or broken All Bedroom handles by pool side kept falling off (I asked for this to be fixed and was told the next day. Nothing got fixed) Due to a new fire alarm system there was constant power cuts (owners attended within 30min but this took 3 days to fix) The fitness room and games equipment. All cramped into one garage. To top this off we could not use the pool much in the second half of the week due to falling ash from nearby forest fires. There is no air conditioning in the dining room so even with the ash from the fire we still had to eat outside due to the heat I have rented properties abroad and at home and never had a need to review. This could be a lovely place to stay in but needs a little tlc.

I am sorry that due to the exceptional circumstances of big fires in the vicinity things were not as they usually are, but we tried it the best we could cleaning the pool everyday but the ashes kept falling down. Our maintance personnel had to attend urgent matters but we fixed as soon as possible what was most urgent; some of the problems pointed out almost immediately. Actually everything is back to normal and we replaced whatever had problems, especially the outside equipment that suffer quite a lot during the summer season. The upper terrace was not as it should be because of warnings due to the possibility of fires. Now it is there. The pictures are from 2017. We have portable air conditioning equipment at the disposal of the clients that just need to ask for it.

semaine de rêve dans un cadre enchanteur
Toute notre famille a été enchantée par cette semaine à Silves. Eduardo, accueillant et disponible, nous a faite visiter cette grande maison très confortable ou chacun ( 14 personnes) est à son aise. Piscine sécurisée sur la terrasse, jeux pour petits et grands, balades en montagne ou sur de jolies plages. L'orangeraie dans le jardin nous a fourni chaque matin de succulents jus et enfin, si on le souhaite, Irène nous concocte un repas typiquement portugais dont on se régale ( le cata plana était succulente. Nous reviendrons, c'est sûr, les enfants le réclament déjà. Silves est une petite ville très agréable et merci encore Eduardo pour tous vos conseils.

nous avons passe un séjour excellent.Nous étions 16 personnes dans la maison et nous Nous avons passé un séjour très agréable dans cette belle maison .Nous etions 16 personnes .Nous avons très bien cohabité sans nous bousculer tant la maison est grande. nous nous sommes régalés avec les fruits frais cueillis sur les arbres qui se trouvent sur l'immense propriété d'Eduardo que nous n'avons malheureusement pas vu Madame Irène nous a préparé a manger avec des spécialités portugaises succulentes pour un prix dérisoire.

Semana Férias em Família - 2 a 9 de Setembro 2017
Estivemos nesta moradia de 2 a 9 de Setembro com um grupo de 14 pessoas incluindo crianças. A moradia está muito bem localizada, local calmo e sossegado mas relativamente perto dos centros e praias. Muito bem equipada para receber grandes grupos de qualquer faixa etária. Passamos uma semana maravilhosa e tranquila. Obrigada Sr.Eduardo.

Cette villa est superbe. Elle est située dans une orangeraie dans une ville agréable : Silves. La terrasse de l'étage surplombe le chateau, c'est magnifique. Elle est spacieuse et bien équipée. Il y a même à disposition le linge de lit, de toilette et les serviettes de plage. Le propriétaire Eduardo fort sympathique est sur place et se rend disponible à chaque fois que nous en avons besoin. Il nous a proposé les services d'une cuisinière qui nous a fait découvrir des plats portugais pour un prix dérisoire! Bref, on ne rêve que d'y retourner!

Très bon rapport qualité prix avec des propriétaires à vos petits soins
Rassemblement familial très réussi pour fêter nos 155 ans (80+75). Séjour de 15 jours pour les 17 personnes dont 4 enfants. Nous avons apprécié une salle de bains par chambre, la climatisation, la wifi, ainsi que les repas d'Irène qui a répondu à toutes nos attentes. Très bonne réactivité des propriétaires qui ont été très attentifs à toutes nos sollicitations et ont même pris l'initiative de nous offrir le repas d'anniversaire. Nous leur sommes très reconnaissants pour leur sympathique attention. Cette villa spacieuse, est très bien située pour découvrir les superbes plages de l'Algarve.

Villa parfaitement identique aux photos, propriétaire très réactif et très arrangeant.
Villa magnifique au coeur d'une orangeraie dont nous avons pu deguster les oranges tout au long de notre sejour. Le propriétaire était très réactif pour répondre a mes questions. Ils nous a proposé les sercices d'Irene qui nous a cuisiné de très bon repas toute la semaine pour un tarif très abordable. J'y retournerai sans hésiter.
