Wij hadden een kamer met zeezicht en keken uit over de prachtige tuin met veel zwembaden. We hebben veel gewandeld over de mooi aangelegde looppaden naar de zee en langs de kust. Een paar strandtenten op loopafstand . Een heerlijk uitgebreid ontbijtbuffet. Ruimte waar je kan borrelen of lunchen(best kostbaar) is erg saai ingericht. Het terras buiten was wel mooi. Het personeel was zeer behulpzaam en vriendelijk. De Spa en fitnessruimte was in onderhoud dus kan ik niet beoordelen maar we konden gebruik maken van dezelfde faciliteiten in een ander hotel dus dat was weer goed geregeld!

Mooi hotel op een rustige locatie. Uitzicht op zee. Elke dag entertainment voor wie wil. Goede handdoeken Serviëren heel uitgebreid ontbijt. Ligging kamers blok 1 boven het terras is niet aan te raden als je stilte wenst. Hier hoor je tot middernacht de live muziek.

Kleine kamer en muziek op buitenterras matig!
Bij een hotel met deze naam verwacht je bij de kleinste kamers toch wel wat ruimte. Met name de combinatie toilet-wastafel-douche is klein. Het buffet wat dagelijks aangeboden wordt kost tussen € 25,00 en € 35,00 per persoon zonder drank. Buiten de deur eet je minstens zo goed voor minder, zelfs hun eigen specialiteiten restaurant de 14e -aan de overzijde- is goedkoper en beter. Tenslotte is de dagelijks door anderen gespeelde muziek is van matige kwaliteit en slechts tot 22.30 uur.

Mooi hotel op een mooie locatie
Mooi hotel op een mooie locatie, met ruime, mooie kamers & netjes verzorgd. Het hotel is goed ingericht, waardoor je niet veel merkt van de anderen gasten (mn Portugezen), niet tijdens een ontbijt of dinner, noch aan het zwembad of strand. Er zijn diverse mooie zwembaden, die ruim zijn opgezet (tot120m diep) met genoeg ligstoelen en parasols. De tuin geeft gelegenheid om lekker in de zon te liggen onder palmbomen. Het strand is een minuut of 3-5 lopen over mooie loopbruggen, die mooi uitzicht geven op de kust. Het strand is breed, mooi met goudgeel zand en was redelijk druk, maar toch rustig. Wij (jong gezin met 2 dochters van 10) zaten een junior suite, die ruim is met een zitbank (het bed eronder is er makkelijk onder uit te halen) en een gevraagd extra bed. Het slaapgedeelte, dat door draaiende wanddeuren af te sluiten is, heeft een 2 persoonsbed (180x200). Er is een koelkast, groot LCD tv, tafel met 4 stoelen, salon tafel, wifi, en een groot terras. De badkamer is petit maar praktisch; toilet, bidet, inloopdouche en toilet. Een auto heb je hier nodig - restaurantjes zijn net te ver weg om te lopen: om in de buurt een hapje te eten kwamen alle restaurants rond de 100 euro uit, terwijl 5km voor de helft ook makkelijk kan. - in de omgeving zijn zoveel mooie plekjes te bekijken: echt leuk zijn Albufeira, Silves, Lagos, Monchique, Villamoura en andere kustdorpjes.

Fijn hotel, geen keuken
Locatie van het hotel is top, maar wij hadden vorig jaar een vergelijkbaar appartement in Salgados Vilas das Lagoas geboekt (ook van eigenaar NAU hotels en gelegen achter dit hotel) en gingen er vanuit dat er net zoals daar een keuken inzat. Deze was er ook - alleen niet functioneel. Je mocht en kon hem niet gebruiken van het hotel, bijv de vaatwasser en het fornuis waren niet aangesloten. Wij vonden dit een gemiste kans zeker aangezien de rest van het appartement heel mooi is (ruim, 3 slaapkamers, 3 badkamers). Er stonden wel een dinertafel met stoelen maar zonder keuken werd t lastig om een keer thuis iets te maken voor onze dochter van 3. Ook moesten we specifiek twee keer gaan vragen om borden en bestek voordat we deze kregen (zijn niet standaard inbegrepen in het appartement). Kort wij hadden dit geboekt voor het zeezicht maar zouden om praktische redenen toch weer voor de Vilas das Lagoas gaan als we terug zouden komen (daar heb je zelfs een wasmachine in de keuken).

Een goed begin van onze rondreis.
Het resort telt meerdere complexen en zwembaden. Het voordeel hiervan is dat de gasten lekker verspreid liggen. Het voelt niet zo massaal aan. Er zijn vrijwel altijd ligbedden vrij, ondanks het hotel vol zit. Maar het aantal parasols mag wel meer worden. Het strand is 5 minuten lopen over een mooie stelsel van houten loopbruggen over de duinen. Prachtig om te zien ! Onze 6 persoons suite is zeer ruim. Zelfs de balkon is erg groot. WIFI aan zwembad werkt niet altijd.

Luxe hotel in rustig duingebied en direct aan zee
Rustig gebied met vlonders door de kruidige heerlijk geurende duinen lopen. Luxe hotel met grote suite's. Ontbijtbuffet met alles wat je maar kan wensen incl. champagne. Een auto huren is wel een aanrader als je meer van de Algarve wil zien. De auto kan je gratis parkeren onder het hotel in de parkeergarage.

Prachtig en luxueus Hotel waar ook kinderen welkom
Het was een prachtige vakabtie voor ons. Het inchecken verliep vlot, zeer vriendelijke bediening over het ganse hotel trouwens. Het hotel straal rust en luxe uit, en toch is het kindvriendelijk. Zeer uitgebreid ontbijt. 's avonds mogelijkheid om de eten, buffet vorm. Het hotel ligt ook kort aan zee, zodat je daar ook naar toe kunt gaan. Gezien het hotel iets wat afgelegen ligt, beveel ik toch aan om een auto te huren, zodat je de omgeving kunt verkennen en naar het nabijgelegen Albufeira kunt gaan.

Hotel bestaat uit meerdere gebouwen, elk gebouw heeft zijn eigen parkeergararge van waaruit je naar je kamer kan. We hadden een junior suite met uitzicht op zee en het zwembad. Dit is wel de moeite waard want anders kijk je op de straat. Ruime kamer met wel veel loze ruimte. Geen kastruimte in de slaapkamer maar in de kamer. In de kast zit ook een koelkastje en een waterkoker en een fonteintje. Badkamer had groter gekund, wel een fijne douche. Strandlakens en badjassen aanwezig. Weinig licht in de kamer. 9 zwembaden die gegroupeerd zijn in groepjes van 3 (3 verschillende afmetingen) maar 1 douche per 3 wat veel te weinig is. Elk gebouw heeft eigen entree naar zwembad en strand. Prachtige tuin met veel palm en olijfbomen. Mooie paden naar strand. 20% korting op de ligbedden alleen bij de witte vlag linker kant van het strand. 10 euro voor 2 bedden en parasol in juni july en augustus 12 euro. Gelukkig worden er bij het zwembad geen bedden gereserveerd, er zijn er zoveel dat er altijd plaats is. Elke avond live muziek in de jazz lobby. Ontbijtbuffet is erg goed. Wel erg kale ruimte. Gelukkig kan je ook lekker buiten zitten wat wel erg sfeervol is. Ook in de avond buffet voor 20 euro per persoon. Zou dit persoonlijk nooit doen er zijn zo veel leuke restaurantjes waar je voor veel minder en veel gezelliger kan eten!! Geen verkeerd hotel vooral voor de ligging aan het strand maar veel te duur er zijn vele hotels in de Algarve waar je voor de helft en net zo goed kan verblijven!

GEWELDIG
Wat een super mooi resort is Salgados Dunas Suites. Prachtige junior suite, schoon, veel kastruimte etc. Personeel super vriendelijk!! Niks dan goeds over dit resort!! echte AANRADER !!! Auto wel nodig omdat je ver van alles zit maar n albufeira makkelijk te parkeren en de algarve zeker de moeite waard om te toeren. Rij ook naar Lissabon!! Geweldige stad! Gewoon de Tom Tom zijn werk laten doen en alles is makkelijk te vinden!

The property was great and the vicinity near the beach made our vacation so enjoyable. However, we rated it a 3 stars as when we checked in, we were given a pool side view suite (calling it a pool side view is generous, we were actually near the street parking). We paid for a sea view suite which was higher than the other suites, and the hotel manager did not mention why we did not get our sea view (the hotel was overbooked) until we complained about it. And when we move to a sea view suite the next morning, the manager told us that the switch actually costed the hotel additional cleaning expenses. What's wrong here?🤔 Should we not be compensated for the first night and the inconvenience instead? We didn't get an apology from the hotel and had we not complained about it, we would probably be left in a lower category suite for the rest of our stay. That's dishonesty on the hotel part.

The suite we stayed in was comfortable. The interior was modern and stylish, and the view of the surrounding area was truly breathtaking. The breakfast spread offered a good variety of options. The staff would also make omelettes every morning. While the location is beautiful, it's somewhat secluded, and local attractions and amenities are not within walking distance. However, if you have a car, this won't be an issue. Unfortunately, we were disappointed to find that the spa was undergoing maintenance during our stay, which meant we couldn't indulge in the relaxation and pampering we had hoped for. The communal stairs were not very well-lit and not kept as tidy as the rest of the hotel. The staff are amazing and made my partner's birthday special. We had a bottle of champagne delivered to the room. The beach was a short walk and was amazing!

Espetacular
Adorámos a estadia, a única situação mais incomodativa é sempre que ligavamos o ar condicionado ele fazia uma espécie de zoeira que era incómodo durante o seu funcionamento. Independentemente disso, voltámos a ficar claramente neste hotel, pequeno almoço fantástico, instalações muito boas, deste as piscinas, o spa, e o acesso à praia. Quartos espaços e limpos.

This property is beautiful. The staff is so very kind and accommodating. The beach is a short board walk and wasn’t crowded. The entire stay was wonderful.

The room is clean, but the common area are dirty and un maintain, stairway is full of spider web and no lights on the landing. Is very expensive for the quality and location.

Gutes Hotel, jedoch das Massen-Tourismus
Am Hotel gibt es nichts auszusetzen, ausser dass es einfach Massen Tourismus ist, den man insbesondere beim Frühstück (super Auswahl) merkt, denn es ist ein hektisches Getreibe. Die Anlage ist jedoch sehr schön gelegen, unweit vom Nightlife Albufeiras (EUR 7-9 mit Uber vom Hotel). Auch die Hotel Pools und der Weg zum Meer sind sehr schön und die Zimmer geräumig. Es hat ein super Beach Restaurant gleich unten am Strand (Praia dos Salgados). Ebenso ist die kostenlose Parkgarage top. Jedoch fehlt das Flair im Hotel, da es schon ein grosser Komplex ist. Für uns waren es 2 Nächte da wir spät in angekommen sind und mal das Nightlife von Albufeira sehen wollten. Mein Tipp: sollte man auslassen und besser gleich weiter nach Lagos oder in gemütlichere Ort wie Tavira. Das Hotel ist aber nicht schlecht. 7 Nächte in diesem Massen Tourismus wäre jedoch gar nichts für uns gewesen. Komme ich nochmals dahin? Nein, aber nicht zwingend wegen dem Hotel, sondern wegen Albufeira.

Negatief: Staat van de accommodatie en faciliteiten
By no means it is a 5* hotel, everything was very average apart from the natural surroundings. The coffee machine in the room was just a decoration since there was no coffee or tea provided (coffee pods had to be purchased from the reception, tea was supposed to be free but again had to ask reception to give me a tea bag each time I wanted to have a cup of tea). There is a grocery shops not far so easier to buy it from them. It was mentioned that there is spa/sauna at the hotel but again at an extra charge of 5 euro. Bathrobes provided were torn and so old that felt like polishing paper. The room needs some update, I could hear every conversation in the next room, the bathroom was so outdated. Restaurants are very average for what they charge. In general I left with a feeling that it was a big rip off for 1700 euros I paid to stay there for a week. Will not return for sure.

Un petit paradis
Hotel Dunas Suites très agréable. Nous avions réservé une suite junior vue mer. Très belle suite avec un séjour de belle taille et canapé convertible. Literie d'excellente qualité. Curieusement la douche était très petite. Curieux ce type de chambre. Petit déjeuner complet et qualitatif. Accès parking, il conviendrait de mettre plus de système de charge de véhicule à disposition. Nous n'avons pas réussi à en profiter. Et accueil de la réception à améliorer. Il serait agréable de présenter les prestations de l'hôtel. Et au vu de la taille du complexe touristique, l'implantation d'une petite boutique d'accessoires et cadeaux serait peut-être adaptée. Globalement nous avons ete très satisfaits de notre séjour de 3j et 2 nuits . L'accès à la mer est proche et peut se faire à pied via un chemin.

Établissement satisfaisant dans l'ensemble. De nombreuses piscines, accès à la mer, un kids club. Malgré tout, je n'y retournerai pas. Le kids club (que je compare à d'autres) ne respectait pas forcément les horaires et le planning et était "plat". Les piscines sont propres, il manque juste des toilettes à l'extérieur. Le personnel est très gentil.
