Our stay in Albufeira
We arrived in the Algarve 1 March 2024 and moved into our condo in Albufeita Jardim. Karine our host, had the condo ready and we moved in early. We went for a tour around the community with friends and upon our return we discovered that there was a water break in the building and we had lost all water. I contacted Karine and as it was late, a repair crew was contacted but couldn’t start work until the next day. She was very proactive and had water delivered for flushing the toilet and drinking water. It took four days to repair the issue, Karine continued to have water delivered and got us another condo to shower and get water. This was not a problem that could have been predicted by the owner or the host, Karine was incredibly responsive to our needs. After four days a fix was completed and we didn’t have any further issues. The condo was clean, well stocked and as described in the adds. For extended stay clients IPTV would be a benefit and a more comfortable sofa. The walking distance to old town takes about 20/25 minutes and the return is mainly uphill, it takes longer that requires significant effort. I have to commend the VRBO customer support team, specifically Argel for the excellent customer service. We were able to relax in knowing that Argel was on the case, we felt that we were important and we were fully being supported. Our vacation started out with some difficulties but finished off with a very positive experience. I will book through VRBO whenever we travel.

Perfetto per una coppia
Il soggiorno in questo appartamento è stato perfetto, non manca proprio nulla per rendere la vacanza gradevole. Il letto è comodo, la cucina attrezzatissima, la terrazza con vista mare splendida. Al mattino è piacevole affacciarsi e sentire unicamente il canto dei gabbiani. Massima tranquillità. Voto 10 e lode(se si dispone di una vettura)

Relaxed flat in a resort
Everything great overall! Flat and kitchen are fully equipped have nice, modern furniture. Accurate photos and description. A little high over the town but still possible to walk downtown in 25 minutes. The only surprises were a few ants inside the home and the airconditioning not being very strong.

Guter Ausgangspunkt für Algarve-Entdecker
Das Appartement entsprach unseren Erwartungen und Bedürfnissen. Wer wie wir die Algarve mit dem Mietauto erkunden will, hat hier einen idealen Ausgangspunkt und auch kein Problem damit, dass das Appartement auf einem Berg liegt. Der Blick von der Terrasse ist toll. Wir haben keine deutschen Fernsehsender vermisst, das WLAN war stabil, Nachrichten haben wir auf dem Handy verfolgt. Der Kontakt mit Karine lief problemlos, von uns eine klare Empfehlung!

Summer holiday August
The apartment is clean and tidy. Everything you need and with a good size pool to swim in. Be prepared to walk though as the complex is at the top of a hill and the apartment is a few more flights of steps further up past the pool . The Town is within easy walking distance but is uphill walk back to the apartment .

schöne, saubere Ferienwohnung in guter Lage (ca. 8 min zu Fuß zum Strand), große (sonnige) Terrasse / Balkon, Parkplatz für ein Auto direkt vor der Wohnung, ausreichend großem Bad, Klimaanlage (Wohnung kann bei Bedarf auch abgedunkelt werden), sehr gut ausgestattete Küche mit Spülmaschine, einziges negatives Merkmal ist die nach unserem Empfinden nach unbequeme (harte) Matratze im Schlafzimmer

Not the most comfortable
We planned on staying for two weeks while we waited for our apartment to be ready. Shortly after checking in, we knew we weren't going to be comfortable staying here but we were unable to shorten the stay except for two days granted by the owner. The area below is very touristy and will be busy, especially in Summer. It takes about fifteen minutes to walk down to the beach but it is a strenuous walk all the way back up the hill. The view is nice from the balcony. The wifi does work, you have to look on the MEO modem/router. The TV options aren't great but you can stream your own stuff from your phone. Our main issue was the bed in the bedroom. It was a pretty thin and very stiff mattress. It felt like a sleeper sofa bed. Uber was readily available when we needed a ride. We were only given one roll of toilet paper for a two week stay and there is no bidet. The shower is the type that drains really slowly so you will be standing in water throughout your shower. There doesn't seem to be enough hot water for three or more people in the unit. We kept our showers very short to make sure there was enough. We ended up leaving a week early anyways.

The client arrived at 6 p.m. and at 8 p.m. we received a message asking us to reimburse her for the rest of the stay because the neighborhood did not suit her. I think that it is not in two hours that we can get an idea of the neighborhood. we agreed to give her a two night gesture but we didn't agree to do more because we would have lost the money and that's not a valid reason. regarding the mattress it is the first time that we have had the reflection since the beginning of the rental, but indeed a mattress cannot be suitable for everyone! I think the refund request was more than inappropriate, And despite our good faith it was not enough.

A wonderful holiday
We had a wonderful stay in this apartment: the view from the balcony on the sea is so beautiful, the apartment is very well equipped in the kitchen aswell as in the bathroom. We were very happy that there was a safe to secure our most important belongings. The apartment is located on a big apartment complex with a very nice pool area and parking spaces. In Portugal in general you are able to buy wifi (from Meo-wifi) for up to 1 week. So if wifi is needed, you can buy it online. We would definitely recommend this apartment and would visit again!

Lovely smart apartment
The apartment was very clean and well presented and exactly as described online. The outside space is excellent, very spacious and south facing. Karine was very responsive to our messages throughout and also met us at the property on our arrival to show us around. Overall a very comfortable stay in a well equipped and smart apartment.

No WiFi!
Very disappointed there was no WiFi. Apparently it is in the listing but we didn’t see it. The patio door lock was not working and delayed response from property manager. We had to find our own solution to ensure security.

Sweet host and great apartment with beautiful view
So lovely holiday apartment . Very friendly and quickly response and communikation. Cleverly organised and equipped. The kithen is supplied with all sorts of things to make any dinner into a treat. The terrasse is so welcoming and with beautiful seawiew in two directions Tables, chairs, beds and sunbeds are in good condition. The dishwasher, washingmashine, oven, microwave is updated and made our vacation much easier. The appartement was clean and in order when we arrived. We would love to return sometime.

Excellent, well equipped apartment!
Communication with the owner was great, very helpful regarding our late arrival. Apartment was spotlessly clean upon arrival and was very well equipped making a comfortable stay. The outside terrace was perfect and the sea view a bonus to look out at. The old town was only a 10-15 minute walk down hill and a taxi home to avoid the uphill was 5-7euros. Due to the complex being on a hill there are several sets of steps around that maybe an issue for the less mobile. Would happily return for another stay!

The apt was very nice!! It would have been perfect it it had Wi-Fi and warmer weather!!
I rented it for a week, but I only stayed 2 days. The weather was terrible, just about everything was closed and there was no Wi-Fi to watch movies, use computer or listen to music.

Sehr empfehlenswert!
Wir hatten eine super schöne Zeit in Albufeira und haben uns sehr wohl in der kleinen, aber feinen Wohnung gefühlt. Sie ist sehr schön eingerichtet und gut ausgestattet. Die schöne und große Terrasse mit Blick auf das Meer ist ein Highlight. Auch die Lage ist top, auch wenn der „Aufstieg“ zur Wohnung bei heißem Wetter etwas anstrengend werden kann. Dies lohnt sich aber, wir würden definitiv wiederkommen!
