My reviews speak for themselves. I have this in response to your review. 1. We got a plumber to the home within hours of you notifying us of a flood in our home but you refused to let our plumber in. We waited hours. We had to return with a different crew with a scope because the source of the clog could not be fixed from outside the home. You insisted you wanted to be present for their attendance but did not want to change your dinner reservations. We said no. We were not waiting longer and this crew needed access. You wanted us to wait until the next day when it was more convenient. That is not how anyone addresses a flood in their home. Floods need immediate attention. This flood was given immediate attention. In fact 2 plumbing companies and one cleaning crew gave their attention. I was constantly trying to reach you. 2. We immediately offered to refund the balance of your stay upon learning of the flood from you. You agreed to that but insisted on staying for the balance of the reservation citing it was too expensive to go anywhere else. You remained at the home, refused to leave and used the facilities which aggregated the situation further. Your actions caused us 100s of euros so far. Thank you though for using all of my white towels to dry up the floor after using the faculties, after refusing to leave my home. 3. We gave you the partial refund. It is not our fault that this website can take up to 10 days to show up on your credit card.

It is unfortunate that you chose to bring these issues to my attention via a public post on June 24, notwithstanding that you stayed at my home from June 3rd to 10th and never once reached out to advise of any issue - and specifically that the bed was “catastrophic”. I was so concerned about your post, which came to my attention today, that I reached out to the guests immediately after you, as well as the current guests, to confirm the status of the bed and linens. They all advise everything was/is great. Regardless I will be sending my handyman over immediately to look into your report. I certainly would not want guests to experience a poor night’s sleep. Regarding the sheets and pillows…are you sure you are even reviewing my property? The bedding is all new and I personally laundered and made the bed hours before your arrival.
