Great stay
We had a great stay in Lagos! Carla and Jose are very friendly, and prepared everything for us and our 1 year old son. We enjoyed the garden, the pool, the area and the house itself. With a convenient kitchen, two bedrooms and two bathrooms, comfortable sofas and couch, we had everything we needed. The only minus for us was that the beds are quite firm, which we aren’t used to. But that’s a matter of taste and other than that everything was perfect!

Comfortable, spacious and clean appartment
We have just come back from our first holiday to Portugal and we really enjoyed our stay in Jose and Carla's appartment. Jose met us on arrival, even though we arrived late as our flight had been delayed and Carla had kindly left some breakfast items for us as the shops were closed at that time. We were very happy to see the appartment was exactly as described by the owners; it was large, nice and cool and very clean and well maintained.In fact I had been worried about it being very hot but we never even had to turn on the fans which are in the rooms. It was really a home away from home as it had everything we needed such as a well equiped kitchen but also nice touches such as a cooler bag we could use, beach towels and board games and books for our entertainment. There was a lovely conservatory as well with another table and chairs where we had some of our meals and right outside the garden door with two deck chairs for our use. The gardens were beautiful and we really enjoyed the pool which was very clean and most of the time we had it all to ourselves! We had rented a car but it is possible to walk to the marina in about 10 minutes although the road from the appartment can be a bit dangerous in places where there is no foot path.We noticed many people who stayed at the complex walking to and back from the town regularly though. The only downside to the appartment for us was the fact that the master bedroom, which had the double bed, was facing the front of the building whereas our kids had the twin room which looked out into the gardens so they got the best view, not fair..! The beds were all very comfy as well. Thank you Carla and Jose, we left with great memories of Lagos and we hope to return some day.

Aanrader, ruim en compleet
De woning Is royaal van afmetingen. Compleet ingericht, echt aan alles Is gedacht. Er zijn 2 badkamers, wel wat gedaan, maar alles Is in goede staat. Geen airco maar huis zelf Is koel en s avond koelde het bij ons sterk af.Een mooie tuin, vlakbij het zwembad met ligstoelen eromheen. Het Is er rustig, tikje gehorig wel. De afstand lopend tot Marina met restaurantjes ed is ca 15-20 m, tot centrum 10 min extra. Van daar naar t appartement Is wel steil omhoog voor gedeelte. Als je buiten Lagos wilt gaan moet je eigenlijk auto hebben, Ov rijdt weinig frequent vanaf stadje. Lagos zelf Is erg gezellig. Carla en José zijn erg vriendelijk en gastvrij en behulpzaam Reageren meteen als je vraag hebt.

Très bon séjour
La propriété est très bien située. Les hôtes sont très disponibles, accueillants et aimables. La location était très propre et bien entretenue. Le seul bémol pour nous est au sujet du chauffage. C’est une location moins appropriée pour les mois d’hiver. Il n’y a pas de chauffage central donc nous devons utiliser des chauffages d’appoint, très consommateurs d’énergie ce qui représente des frais beaucoup plus élevés que prévus. Mais nous avons passé quand même un très beau séjour et avons apprécié la location.

Diane & Michel were wonderful 5 star guests who left the apartment in an impeccable condition. We thank them for their stay and feedback. All utilities during our long stays are paid for by us with the exception of electricity which is charged as used. We feel this is fair as some guests need more heating than others. With regard to Diane's comment we have to clarify for the benefit of other guests that the average rate our guests spend on electricity is around €70 to €90 per month. Unfortunately Diane must have used the heating extensively resulting in a very high electricity bill, the highest we have ever had in all the years we've been renting. Unlike Canada, Portugal does not have central heating due to it's moderate winters. We have either convection heaters or AC heating.

Relaxing and interesting stay
My husband, my sister and I had a wonderful stay with all the comfort you need for your holidays. Carla and José a very obliging landlords and gave us a lot of helpful information for our stay. And the apartment is a good base to visit the west side of the Algave. We will defenetly visit the Algarve again as we liked it very much!

Spacious main floor apartment with wonderful pool!!!
My family, consisting of myself, wife, and 15 year old son had a great 2 week stay in this Albardeira apartment. It is very roomy with a walk-out patio only a few steps away from the condominium pool. Carla and Jose met us for the check-in process and gave us the run down of the property and also a lot of useful tips for the area such as the nearby Pingo Doce for prepared foods and groceries, some great local restaurants, and where to find free convenient parking from where we could easily walk to most of Lagos. Our only suggestion for the property would be to update the master bed as we found it small and uncomfortable for 2 people and after 3 nights we switched rooms with our son who enjoyed it while my wife and I found the single beds in the second bedroom much more comfortable. Carla and Jose were very welcoming and prompt with any questions or issues we had during the stay. About halfway thru they had the linens and towels refreshed for us which was very much appreciated! We suspect there were quite a few other apartments in the complex which are also short-term rentals, as we often saw visitors with bags coming and going, but everyone was very respectful of space and noise. There were absolutely no issues at all with comfort. Overall, we really enjoyed this well equipped property with the pool being the highlight to help beat the August Algarve heat!

Les photos correspondent totalement à ce qui est publié. Notre hôte a été extrêmement accueillant et prévenant. La copropriété est bien entretenue et la piscine est idéale avec un enfant de 4 ans. La résidence est idéalement située pour un séjour au calme mais à 2 minutes en voiture de la marina et donc proche centre ville. On recommande.

Beautiful quiet location, yet not far from beaches
This spacious and well furnished apartment, situated in a quiet location, yet only a few minutes‘ drive from the sea, is the perfect place for a restful holiday. The pool, just a few steps away, although not heated, was pleasantly warm in early June. The apartment is very well equipped, the beds comfortable and the owners always at hand for any questions. With two bathrooms the apartment is ideal for two couples or for a family with children. The beaches, the pleasant town of Lagos and supermarkets are only a few minutes away by car. We would recommend a car rental so you can explore, and it is quite a steep climb from the sea or the town back to the peace of the apartment. You enjoy private parking. We felt very much at home and would strongly recommend this apartment for a wonderful holiday in Lagos, which has so much to offer.

The property was wonderful. Peaceful and quiet when we were on site but close enough to everything when we wanted it. Jose met us and gave us a tour and all kinds of helpful information to make our stay enjoyable and then turned the place over to us. The property was beautifully furnished and stocked with things to make the stay enjoyable. We would definitely return and use it again.!

Albardeira Apartment
We stayed here for 7 weeks and loved it. Location is an easy 15-20 minute walk to the beach or the marina or the old town. There is a very good little bar/restaurant basically next door and a great grocery store called Pingo Doce within walkable distance. Uber anywhere for 4 to 6 Euros. Carla and Jose were amazing hosts and very very helpful. Responded quickly to any queries and are both lovely. Everything you need is in the apartment. Kitchen is excellent. Would definitely stay again.

We had a great time at Carla and Jose’s apartment The apartment is spacious and well equipped Location wise it is 15 mins walk to Lagos town which we managed with 2 children We didn’t have a car so walked and used Ubers and taxis when we needed to. The pool is a good temperature and always plenty of sun beds The only thing that would’ve been helpful would be a decent nearby shop for essentials. Our children loved Praia Dona Ana and it is well worth the extra journey. Also the fish restaurant Tasca La Gota was amazing and very reasonable All in all a lovely, relaxing holiday Thanks Carla and Jose

Das Appartement hat uns sehr begeistert. Umfassende Ausstattung in Küche, für den Strand etc. Toller Pool! Sehr nette Gastgeber. Sehr empfehlenswert für eine tollen Familienurlaub...! Fahrrad oder Auto ist empfehlenswert. We were very excited about the apartment. Comprehensive equipment in kitchen, for the beach etc. Great pool! Very nice hosts. Highly recommended for a great family vacation...! Bicycle or car is recommended.

Great spacious apartment with everything we needed!
Really enjoyed staying in Carla & Jose's apartment. Ground floor with a sun room at the back opening out onto a patio with sun loungers. Just a few steps to a lovely big pool which was very quiet and easily big enough for a decent swim. Lots of sun loungers around the pool. We did have a little trouble locating the apartment as it's just tucked in off the road. However, we were just a minute further on from it and Jose easily found us! Thanks Jose! The apartment had everything we needed in the kitchen, towels, toolbox, sun parasol etc. Being early May, it was a bit chilly inside at night but there were plenty of blankets which we used and also electric radiators which we didn't need. Carla & Jose were lovely to deal with and checked in with us halfway through our stay to see if all was well. Excellent wi-fi and Netflix was an added bonus😄 The apartment is around 15-20mins walk from the marina and town centre and an amazing sandy beach which suited us as we like to walk. Pingo Doce supermarket is just down at the bottom of the hill which was perfect. We ate out and cooked in and had/found everything we needed. Can recommend an amazing Indian restaurant in Lagos called 7Hills.

Very nice, spacious apartment within walking distance to Lagos and local beach. We stayed one month and very much enjoyed the apartment and it's great location to Lagos and surrounding beaches and the Algarve region. Spacious, comfortable apartment in lovely grounds.
We stayed for 9 days in the apartment. Excellent communication from Jose and Carla from start to finish, with great recommendations and advice. The apartment was very comfortable and clean. The swimming pool was excellent and the grounds very well maintained. Although it was possible to walk into Lagos where there is plenty to see and do, the walk back is uphill and we were glad we hired a car and managed to visit other places. Lagos and the surrounding area is beautiful and there were plenty of good restaurants. We had a lovely holiday and hope to return.

Beautiful holiday even in Corona times
We felt very comfortable in the apartment of Carla & José again. Everything is available, even sand toys for the children. Even in The Corona times we always felt safe in the Algarve. Everything is well organized. Before using the swimming pool, disinfect your hands and the loungers by the pool are at a sufficient safety distance from each other. For the beaches there is an app with traffic light system, which shows the occupancy for real time. Also in the supermarkets there are entrance controls or a traffic light, everywhere disinfectants were available, which can be operated almost everywhere with your foot and all people wear masks. We are very happy and happy to have spent this wonderful holiday in Corona times with our children in Portugal. We are happy to come back!

Staying in Albardeira
As we were playing golf we required a ground floor apartment. This apartment suited us beyond expectations as it was lovely to just be able to walk out into the gardens and sit in the sunshine. The apartment was close to the car park so it was with very little effort that we could pack the car to go off and play our golf. The apartment was only a 20 minute walk to the Marina and then a little further into Lagos itself. We thoroughly enjoyed our 11 week stay.

The apartment was comfortable and in a good position being on the ground floor and not far from the very good swimming pool. Although we don’t do much cooking apart from breakfast a few times the kitchen was well equipped .Some of the electric points are not fixed securely to the wall. However we would have expected mosquito machines to be a standard item in each room. Location: a pleasant quiet area.with lovely gardens.However it is very difficult to find using the post code given as the sat nav would not accept the address.Even a tour guide who came to pick us up could not locate the property using the address. Being senior citizens with slight walking problems it was too far for us to walk into town so always had to drive or use a taxi. Only one small bar/ cafe nearby which wasn’t always open. The sun beds and umbrella have seen much better days and new ones would improve the appearance of the patio and the comfort of guests. Getting the temperature regulated in the shower was impossible . The shower in the bath was slightly better to regulate but still not easy and the hot water was very hot so it could be a danger.Again being seniors we are very careful getting in and out of the bath but the floor was a bit slippery. Maid service:As there was no maid service this was disappointing.We feel that during a stay of 7 days there should be at least 1 service;10 day stay (as we did) we would have expected the service at least twice and for 14 days 3 times. Communication with Carla and Jose was very good.We had to report that the kettle had blown and it was replaced very promptly. We hope these points will help and overall we had an enjoyable time.

Wir kommen gerne wieder
Wir haben als vierköpfige Familie mit zwei Grundschulkindern in diesem wunderschönen Gartenappartement geurlaubt und haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Wohnung ist sehr geräumig und liebevoll ausgestattet. Vor allem haben wir unser Frühstück im Wintergarten bei offenen Terrassentüren mit Blick auf den wunderschönen gepflegten Garten sehr genossen. Der Pool ist auch toll und wurde von uns täglich genutzt. Bereits im Vorfeld wurden wir mit sehr vielen nützlichen Tipps von Carla ausgestattet und José hat uns sehr nett in Empfang genommen und uns noch weitere Tipps für die Umgebung mit auf den Weg gegeben. Wir kommen gerne wieder und empfehlen das Appartement gerne weiter!

Erholsamer Urlaub
Wir hatten mir unseren Kindern (14,17) einen schönen, entspannten Urlaub in der geräumigen Wohnung von Carla und Jose in einer sehr gepflegten Anlage mit modernem Pool. Die Lage der Wohnung ist nahe dem Stadtzentrum und fußläufig sehr gut erreichbar. Auch die Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Restaurants sind prima. Wir werden bestimmt noch einmal Lagos bereisen und können diese Wohnung empfehlen.

Traumhafte Urlaubstage an der Algarve
Diese Ferienwohnung ist wirklich wunderbar. Sehr ruhig gelegen, mit allem ausgestattet, was man zum wohlfühlen benötigt. Auch den Pool haben wir zur Erfrischung am Abend genutzt. Zur Wohnungsübergabe erhielten wir von Jose sehr gute Tipps zum einkaufen, parken und speisen. Sehr gut war bereits im Vorfeld die tolle Zusammenstellung aller Restaurants und die Besonderheiten der portugiesischen Küche von Carla, die uns per Mail erreichte. So machte die Urlaubsvorbereitung bereits schon in Deutschland Spaß. Nach einer Woche wurde die Ferienwohnung geputzt und außer den Handtüchern auch die Bettwäsche getauscht. Der Bettwäschewechsel wäre wirklich nicht erforderlich gewesen, war aber auch eine nette Geste. Dieses Ferienobjekt kann man wirklich weiterempfehlen. Wir würden es jederzeit wieder buchen. Danke Carla und Jose!

Spring in Lagos
Thank you Carla and Jose for your support. Your apartment is excellent. Two good sized bedroom/ bathrooms, a kitchen, separate dinning area and a lounge leading to a screened sun room. Step out of the sun room sliders into the garden and follow the path to a good sized pool. Easy walk to Lagos marina.

Property of very good standard,beautiful gardens and pool, South facing so you get the Sun all day. Carla and Jose very helpful and friendly. Good location, 10 minute walk to the Marina.

A lovely apartment that is welcoming and feels like a home.
This was a lovely apartment to stay in. The layout is perfect and has a very relaxed feel. Very clean and comfortable all around, beds, living area, kitchen, two baths, and a beautiful sun room. We stayed here for a little over a week. When we arrived Jose advised that we needed a car and that is accurate. I had read one review that said you could walk to the center; however, part of the road is narrow without a sidewalk. Very convenient to a wonderful grocery store. If you are looking for a very comfortable location to explore Lagos and area, this is an ideal location. Jose met us at the bus station and we were greeted with a bottle of wine and orange juice for the morning. Lagos provides access to the Western Algarve. We recommend the Millennium Restaurant close to the Save Market Museum in Lagos, a boat ride from the fortress to see the exotic sea rock formations and grottos, vists to the beaches at Luz and Salema, and diner at one of the seaside restaurants in Alvor.

Wir waren sehr zufrieden!
Die Wohnung war sehr sauber, sehr ruhig gelegen. Mit allem ausgestattet, was wir brauchten! Die Lage ist super, wir konnten viele Strände und auch Einkaufsmöglichkeiten schnell mit dem Auto erreichen!

Tolle Unterkunft an der Westlichen Algarve
Wir hatten eine schöne Woche in diesem Apartment. Die Anlage und die Wohnung sind schön, geräumig und sehr gepflegt. Die Lage nur wenig außerhalb vom trubeligen Lagos und oberhalb des schönen Meia Praia Strandes war top. Sehr ruhig und trotzdem war man schnell unterwegs. Prima Supermarkt gleich um die Ecke und selbst an die einsamen Traumstrände an der Costa Vincentina haben wir in 30 minuten erreicht.

Very nice apartment and great hosts!
We (2 adults, 1 children, 1 baby) spent two great weeks in this apartment. Everything was there, even a baby chair and a baby bed for our small one (1 year). The area around the apartment was very clean and really beautiful; also the pool was great. Supermarkets and the beach are less than 5 mins. away by car and a very nice Portuguese tapas bar is around the corner. Additionally, Lagos is a very nice town for spending some time: many nice restaurants, a nice city center, a lot of things for tourists - but on the other hand not as touristic as e.g. Albufeira. Just one little thing: It would have been nice to have a radio or some speakers for connecting e.g. a mobile phone to listen to some music. To summarize: If we will return the the Algarve once, we definitely will come back here!

Lovely, relaxing villa
We are 4 friends who had a wonderful time in Carla and Jose's villa. The apartment had everything we needed and was very spacious with two bathrooms which was perfect. The villa was quiet and we were the only ones using the sun loungers by the pool the whole time. Whilst it says a car is preferable we were fine just walking around. It's a short walk to the train station, closest supermarket and marina. The beaches and town are a little bit further but still within walking distance and even a taxi back from town was only about €5 The area is stunning with great restaurants that suit all dietary requirements. Jose gave us lots of local information upon our arrival which was very helpful. If I come back to lagos I would definitely stay here again
