Extremely poor water flow from bathroom basin taps. Poor coffee quality from machines. Very good breakfast but not laid out in a practical order which meant a lot of unnecessary walking to collect associated foods. Reception staff need better standard English. Well positioned in town.

The property is relatively close to Old Town which can be accessed by driving, shuttle bus (when it's running), or walking. The property itself is dated and bathrooms need a good deep clean or renovation (grout between the tiles was either missing completely or black). Parking was an issue (holiday weekend) - if you absolutely need parking, make sure you reserve a spot with the hotel.

Hôtel remarquable
Séjour de 8 nuits dans cet hôtel qui correspond parfaitement à ce que j’attendais. J’ai loué une voiture pour faire les excursions que j’avais prévu. Faro , Loué, Silves , Lagoa et Lagos. J’ai pu profiter des belles plages à Albufeira et de 18 degré toute la semaine. L’hôtel propose un restaurant de qualité avec un large choix.

I beskrivelsen av det bestilte rommet var vi lovt balkong men ble plassert på bakkeplan blandt maur og andre insekter fra haven rett utenfor. Leiligheten ellers var rommelig og ok. Arrogant behandling av resepsjonen ved henvendelse.

2-3 star at best but you get what you pay for….. I suspect the ‘4 star’ is on account of the spa which seemed remarkably empty; also remarkably empty was the room - two small single beds with plastic mattress covers, a big space between bed an window with not even a desk chair. Absolutely no seat for the desk/mirror which seemed odd. Tea facilities sponsored by ‘Tetley’ - branded cups and tiny kettle. I say ‘facilities’ as there was no actual tea - or milk. We arrived 9.30pm so I rang down to be told we could have some teabags the following day and the hotel doesn’t have milk…. Seriously?? Not seriously as the breakfast buffet had milk for cereal but… speaking of breakfast buffet, that was actually rather good. Friday and Saturday live entertainment in the very brightly lit bar- Friday dreadful, Saturday very good; the bar itself has a choice of one white wine which although not bad seems a little restrictive. Bar staff very good as were all staff encountered with the exception of reception other than one chap of larger frame with glasses. No ‘gold status’ perks given, I had to show the listing to get the complimentary bottle of house (only) wine and that took 24. hours to arrive. Forget room upgrades, I don’t think the hotel take any notice at all/are even aware of member Hotels.com benefits. Finally, pool was freezing.

The gym opening 9am is diabolical. Needs to be open by 7-8am daily at the least and for gods sake get double the cardio equipment. Its a good gym otherwise. Apart from that nice hotel, need a larger selection of deserts and we had some under cooked rice but that got resolved. Nice place friendly staff please resolve the issues and diversify the food too for the all-inclusive

Hôtel trés sympathique avec chambres spacieuses et bien équipées. Restauration de qualité avec un grand choix. Salle de sport appréciable avec de nombreux équipements, navette gratuite vers les 3 principaux lieux d'Albufeira. Albufeira est une station balnéaire donc peu fréquentée et trés calme en décembre avec peu d'activités et commerces ouvert. Idéal pour repos et détente. Excellent séjour familal. Points à améliorer : 1) Manque de sourire de certains membres du personnel (Compensé par ceux trés souriants et sympathiques ...) 2) Restaurant et espaces commun assez bruyants rappelant les cantines scolaires 3) Navettes aéroport/hôtel et hôtel/aéroport non comprises dans le forfait "Voyage tout compris" : comptez 70€x2 soit 140€

Good hotel for a week stay, nice room, clean, nice pool area, friendly staff. However, the aircon wasnt working in our room the entire time we were there which isnt ideal somewhere that hot. Whenever we asked they said it was a building wise issue and were not clear as to when or if it was being sorted. Breakfast was good but dinner wasnt great on the night we ate at the hotel
