Kamer is ok, wellness valt tegen
Mooie omgeving met een soort plein. Ons hotel bleek veranderd maar dit was niet doorgegeven waardoor we ergens anders heen moesten rijden. Waren vrij kleine kamers, wel net. Het dagje 'welness' was wel te duur voor wat je kreeg. Een kleine sauna in een ouderwets douchehok en een klein binnen zwembad. Bij de balie nog een verplichte douchemuts voor 3.50 p.p. moeten betalen. 15 euro entree voor een erg oud en nauwelijks onderhouden gebouw. Al met al vonden wij het minder positief dan aangeprezen. Ontbijt was wel goed.

This place could be an absolute hidden gem but the hotel company really needs to buck its ideas up, not quite sure how it managed a 4 star rating. Our room was clean, tidy & a good size but the bed frame was in dire need of mending, it creaked with the slightest movement - didn't provide a good night's sleep! The main corridors & staircase areas were not cleaned once during our 5 day stay. The Restaurant 1692 wasn't good. First night we ate there, there was hardly anything available from the menu - I ended up having a starter as my main meal. We also ate there on our last night, purely for convenience, & my husband ordered the duck breast with rice, it came presented as if it had just been microwaved & tipped out from the carton to the plate, not a good look! The pool area is lovely, but why the gardeners are contracted to work during pool opening times using their petrol machinery is beyond me.

Terrible hotel
It was worse hotel i seen in whole of my life . We don't have access to wifi because they said it's possible only in lobby.also we stayed here 2 days and they just gave 3 shampoo and 2 bottles waters for 2 day ,and they don't charge it for second day. Further near the hear has factory and it's so noisy .This hotel have some buildings but they have one reservation so all of the guests confused and lost .

Sehr schönes Apartment erhalten. Guter Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen in der Serra de Monchique. Frühstück sehr gut und reichlich.

Amazing breakfast and staff
Freshly squeezed orange juice from groves in a nearby town, great rolls, and friendly service mark the excellent breakfast. The room is nice and very clean. The staff are very friendly and parking is free and conveniently located

O check in não é no hotel e não fomos avisados pelo q tivemos de voltar atrás. Marcaram hora para o pequeno almoço no momento de fecho do mesmo. A entrada do hotel é nas traseiras das águas de Monchique num beco cheio de paletes. Muito desagradável..

Rien à voir avec les photos du site. Ça pourrait être bien mais c’est vétuste est mal entretenu. Bref il y a d’autres hôtels à Monchique qui sont mieux pour le même prix

Localização, pessoal,higienização e hotel fantástico. Simpatia do staff e bastante atenciosos para conosco. Ficamos com pena da nao utilização do spa uma vez que no ato de check in nos foi informado que estaria indisponível e na realidade estaria operacional e por marcação, algo que já nao conseguimos usufruir. De forma geral recomendamos 😊 até uma próxima.

Very nice swimming pool however the restaurant was overpriced for the food quality you get. The room was very dated, on top of the when you take the shower water is all over the bathroom. I don’t think we will stay there again.

Schöner alter Kurort in den Bergen
Die Lokalisation ist wirklich sehr schön. Aber das Hotel kann nicht ganz überzeugen. Die Zufahrt erfolgt über einen Fabrikhof, vorbei an LKWs. Im Hotel selber ist keinerlei Personal, man muss 5 Minuten zu Fuß zur Rezeption des Hotels Central gehen. Das Zimmer ist klein. Der Spabereich war wegen Corona geschlossen. Sehr schön ist aber der Außenpool.

Hotel bem situado com agradável ambiente. Quarto confortável, com limpeza diária. Hotel tipicamente familiar, pelo que relaxar na piscina se torna difícil, principalmente em situação de pandemia. Pequeno almoço tipo buffet, onde se pede aos empregados que nos sirvam a comida, sendo que poderia ser melhor organizado (pôr pelo menos 2 pessoas a servir sempre, o que não acontecia com frequência). Termas adjacentes com optimas condições.

Excelente atención por parte de la recepción, muy buen desayuno, cuarto limpo y espacioso, cama muy cómoda. Recomendable desayunar pronto, por el covid no hay buffet y se forma fila para que te proporcionen el en una bandeja, muy buenos productos para el desayuno y variado. Las piscinas muy agradables, la piscina de los niños (no usamos) se veía con necesidad de reforma. Nos proporcionaron toallas para la piscina. Un lugar para desconectar, muy tranquilo en el medio de un valle rodeado de agradable vegetación (con NOS no teníamos cobertura de teléfono)

Une arnaque sur internet pas les bonnes photos
Les photos correspondent a l hôtel Central et non l hôtel Termal seules les photos des chambres sont les vraies, le véritable hôtel Termal est face à une usine de mise en bouteille d eau qui fait du bruit , l état est un bâtiment vieux et en mauvaise état qui a les commodites de l ensemble des autres hôtels 4 * , personne n est a l ‘accueil il faut téléphoner et aller à l accueil de l hôtel Central

The whole complex is undergoing a face lift without affecting the overall character of the area. This is a beautiful location with excellent facilities. We have stayed here 4 times now and each time we fall in love with it. Located on the site of a Roman spa village it has a unique atmosphere. The staff are friendly and helpful and the accommodation is clean, comfortable and spacious. The restaurant was in a temporary location due to work being carried out but the food was still first class and the room was bright and comfortable. Due to the ongoing works we were lucky enough to get a free upgrade to a room with a balcony overlooking the whole valley. An unforgettable experience.
