Rua Praia Luz
Our only regret was we had to leave. Obviously we select a rental by its attractiveness but as travelers, our next most valued criteria is responsiveness by the owner. Maria is the best at this we've experienced. Our local contacts, Marcela, Marcia and Sonia were also top notch. The hospitality was outstanding, from the wonderful welcoming package to the parting Easter cake - we felt like part of the family. The apartment was just as excellent. It had all the amenities one could ask for. The back balcony with a great view of the cliffs protecting the bay of Luz and also overlooking the ocean was great with the morning sun, while the front balcony was nice for the evening sun and just to admire the view down to the beach. The beach with all its wonderful bistros is just minutes away. Added to all of this is the town and beach of Luz which is a total gem. If you're a beach person, a surfer, or a hiker, or just like the ambience of the local restaurants, Luz has it all. We loved it. John & Mary Lou, Canada

Quaint apartment
Great location amongst the locals. Apartment had amazing views of the beach from the patio. The bus stop was at the end of the street and 2 grocery stores within a few minutes walk. The apartment had the portuguese flair and was cozy.

Exceeding expectations!
I cannot imagine a more perfect holiday stay. Maria, the hostess, provided a beautifully decorated and immaculately clean accommodation just a block up from the seashore and esplanade. The view from the patio, as well as the balcony, were both fabulous over looking the sea & providing great vantage points to admire gorgeous sunrises as well as sunsets. This accommodation was centrally located and everything in Praia da Luz was within walking distance. The apartment was fully equipped with everything one could need for a comfortable stay! You would be fortunate to find availability at this lovely seaside location. Maria is most definitely a 5 star hostess!

Relaxation in Praia da Luz!
We spent 4 wonderful nights and nothing about our stay was disappointing. The apartment and accommodations were amazing and everything was first class as advertised. The outside balcony with ocean views and evening breezes was everything we could have hoped for.

Great Apartment in Great little town
We had a really good stay at this location. The apartment is in a great location, only 1 block up from the beach. It is well stocked with kitchen supplies and all you should need. The deck is spacious and a nice place for morning coffee or evening happy hour. The owner keeps in regular contact and helpful when needed. We would stay here again or recommend it to friends.

Perfect Location
Wonderful stay. Quiet street but near everything. The beach the bus the restaurants and the hike. The sound of waves at night with everything you would need in the apartment for a wonderful stay. Easy to communication and we enjoyed the gift of wine and oranges for our arrival. We would stay again.

beautiful views
Lovely apartment, best equipped kitchen I have experienced in a rental property, great location close to beach, stores, restaurants and walking trails. And the beautiful little patio, with view of the ocean and the cliff- perfect spot for meals or just relaxing. Excellent communication prior to and during the visit. And the town of Luz is perfectly situated for exploring the Algarve.

Amazing place, highly recommend!
Maria's apartment exceeded my expectations. The view from the balcony was breathtaking, especially on those clear mornings when you could watch the sunrise from the balcony. The location is great and you can walk down to the beach in 2 minutes. I can only recommend it to anybody coming to Luz. Thanks Maria for a great stay!

Lovely apartment with every thing you need, very short walk from beach , supermarket cafe and restaurants. Bus stop 5 mins round the corner to Lagos, which is a must do! Thank you ☺️

Wir bedanken uns für eine schöne Zeit in dieser Unterkunft .Es ist traditionell eingerichtet so wie man es sich in einem gemütlichen Apartment vorstellt .Besonders schön die Aussicht vom Balkon über den Strand und das Meer. Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen. Im Apartment hat man alles vorgefunden was man für einen entspannten Urlaub brauchte. Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis war gerecht. Wir denken wer das traditionelle Sucht statt Hotelurlaub ist da sehr gut aufgehoben. Grüße Silke und Andreas aus Deutschland

Lovely, perfectly located apartment!
Maria was the consummate host for our recent stay in Luz. Her property manager greeted us and gave us a wonderful orientation to Luz. Part of the welcome package was a bottle of local wine and sweets which was a lovely touch! The kitchen was stocked with all one would need including some spices and coffe pods. We, however, made our own coffee with the little espresso pot provided. The compact but cozy apartment is a two minute walk from the gorgeous beach. The balcony was private and had a beautiful view of the Mediterranean. We used the barbecue several times (we brought charcoal but there was already some provided) . We had a couple of minor issues (lock on the front door needed attention and blow dryer stopped working) but they were dealt with promptly by property managers Carla and Marissa. Since we stayed longer than a week, arrangements were also made to come in midway to clean and provide fresh towels and linens. Our only concern, which was minor, was that the shower drained slowly, but it encouraged us to be mindful of the length of our showers. All in all it was a fantastic stay. If you are a couple and are looking to stay in Luz, this is the ideal spot! Thanks so much for everything Maria!!!

Excellent séjour
Appartement conforme à la description, très joli avec une vue magnifique sur la mer. Tout est prévu pour passer un agréable séjour. Les petites attentions à l'arrivée sont appréciables et tout est simple pour récupérer et rendre les clés. La situation est parfaite pour visiter l'Algarve et Luz est une petite station très agréable à vivre avec ses restaurants, bars et commerces à proximité.

Das Appartement von Maria ist nur zu empfehlen. Ebenso Maria als Vermieterin bzw. Gastgeberin. Zum ersten: Maria beantwortete alle Fragen per Mail im Vorfeld superschnell, ausführlich und sehr nett und informierte uns ganz genau. Als wir ankamen, wurden wir warm empfangen. Mit frischen Blumen im Appartement, einer Schale Obst und typischen portugisischen Törtchen. Das hatten wir so noch nie. Das Appartement selbst ist sehr sauber, die Küche hat eine Superausstattung. Es fehlt sich an gar nichts. Sogar eine Waschmaschine(!) ist vorhanden. Vom gemütlichen Balkon aus kann man das Meer sehen. Der Weg allein vom Appartement zum Beach und sehr netten Strandpromenade beträgt unglaubliche 2 min. Traumhaft! Alle Geschäfte (Supermarkt) für den täglichen Bedarf an Lebensmitteln etc. sind fussläufig zu erreichen. Ganz besonders toll fanden wir: Unser kleiner Hund war herzlich Willkommen! Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Hallo Maria, wir hatten einen wunderschönen Urlaub. Die Wohnung hat eine schöne Aussicht und ist komfortabel ausgestattet. Die Abende auf dem Balkon einfach schön. Merveilleux séjour à Praia de Luze
Il fait bon y vivre dans la belle location de Maria où l'on s'y sent vraiment très bien. Rien n'y manque et la décoration est faite avec un certain raffinement. La terrasse est très agréable et la vue sur la mer magnifique ! Après avoir visité toute la côte de l'Algarve on est Heureux de revenir à Praia de Luze. Pour nous ce fut un vrai coup de cœur et Maria est Adorable ! Les photos sur le site correspondent parfaitement à la location mais sur place c'est encore mieux et nous conseillons vivement cette location très bien équipée.

Lovely Luz
We had the pleasure to stay in Maria´s apartment for a month this year. The location is great only a stroll away from the beach and supermarket. The apartment is small but very cozy and fits perfectly for two people. Unfortunately January/ February was too cold for us to use the big terrace, but we can imagine how wonderful it is when the weather is warmer. The view is better than on the pictures. There are 2 new a/c that works very well, television with english channels and internet worked perfectly for our needs. We had a couple of problems/ issues in the apartment when we arrived, but both Maria and Carla took care of this instantly, which just add to the positive that you have an owner and a host that you can count on, and are there to help you right away. (Carla is in the office right below the apartment, and Maria responded almost instantly to our mails ) If we decide to stay in Lovely Luz for a months again, we will most certain stay in Maria´s apartment. Cosy apartment
A beautiful, snug apartment providing an awe-inspiring view! We just loved our stay in this apartment! A very welcoming and beautifully decorated place planned carefully to allow a relaxing and enjoyable holiday. Amazing view from the balconies, just few steps to the beach. Next door to the delicious bakery and few minutes to the supermarket. We arrived quite late and was so thoughtful to be welcomed with a beautiful basket of fresh fruit and wine... Thank you Maria for your clear, fast communication (also for providing a good Wifi (my 12 year old son loved it!) Thanks Henrique and Carla for your attention and having everything beautifully organised to make us feel very special! We definitely recommend this place...

Tolle Wohnung mit Meerblick!
Wir waren 2 Wochen im Appartement und haben die Zeit sehr genossen! Die Wohnung ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und alle Küchenutensilien waren mehr als ausreichend und in guter Qualität vorhanden. Strand, Restaurants, Supermärkte sind in wenigen Minuten zu erreichen und wir haben immer einen Parkplatz für unseren Mietwagen gefunden. Die Aussicht von der Terrasse ist superschön und wir haben bei einem Glas Wein dort den Tag ausklingen lassen. Wer geräuschempfindlich ist sollte Ohrstöpsel dabei haben, weil die Müllabfuhr morgens um 3 Uhr die Tonnen lehrt und wie im Süden üblich nachts gerne die Hunde bellen. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Amazing Location and exceptionally accommodating owner!
We spent four night during the off season at this cute town. Our arrival time was all over the map because of flight issues but the owner was incredibly flexible and responsive which was much appreciated. We arrived at 3 a.m. But the property manager didn't seem put out at all (there was a 30 euro surcharge which was totally worth waking up in Praia de Luz for!) Pros: a block from the beach, you can hear the surf from the bedroom, this beach is beautiful and there are plenty of places to have a coffee and look onto the ocean, street parking was never an issue for us, good internet (no English TV but plenty of German?!) Cons: the pillows and the couch were not comfortable (we ended up in folding the futon couch and using it that way,) this town has more Brittish expats than Portuguese so don't expect an authentic Portuguese experience and expect the prices to be on the high side for Portugal.

"Praia de Luz" , une jolie plage qui mérite bien son nom. Un appartement de rêve, lumineux, coloré, fonctionnel, harmonieux, bien situé. Nous comprenons votre attachement à ces lieux.
