We had a wonderful time staying here for a week in September. The villa nice, but what sets this property apart from others we have stayed in, is the garden and pool area.
The gardens are huge and beautifully kept. Flower beds and even a mint plant (which helped make some mojitos for drinking round the pool). The pool has steps going in and is long enough for swimming. There is also a separate shower and toilet in a small out building next to the pool, which was ideal when we were sunbathing and going in and out the pool. Also, travelling with a toddler I am always worried about the pool area and access to stairs, but each part of the garden has gates that you can close off.
The villa looks over a field area with olive trees and views to the valley and the mountains beyond. It is in a residential area all made up from large self contained villas. It is around a mile walk to the town centre which has plenty of shops, cafes, and restaurants. As we were travelling during Covid 19 restrictions we didn't eat out in the town, but going into shops and having a coffee in the town everyone was strictly following the regulations which was reassuring.
The villa is well placed for day trips. Mijas is only 20 minutes away (well worth a trip) Malaga and Ronda are all within an hour's or so drive.
I would highly recommend this Villa. The host, Andres, couldn't have been more helpful. He was very flexible with arrival and leaving time and gave us a comprehensive tour making sure we knew how to work everything. He even gives the guests access to his Netflixs account, which is always helpful when you have a child to wind down at night.
Nice villa, beautiful setting, wonderful host, and stunning views.
