It was clean, centrally located to many trails, waterfalls, and pictured rocks national lakeshore for hiking/fishing/canoeing, which is why we were visiting the area. It had everything we needed! Several dispensaries in the immediate area made for a little more foot traffic than I like/ it’s a single floor property, so people walk and park right by windows to your room. 'We were in town to hike and not looking for anything fancy, so this was the perfect place for our low budget. Cheap, old-school motel walking distance from downtown. The staff is nice and helpful - especially Susan! The check-in/check-out process was super easy. Grocery store, bars, restaurants, dispensary within a few blocks. Nothing fancy but a good deal for such a last minute purchase. '

'Outstanding modernized cabin deep the forest. Full kitchen with gas stove, toaster, microwave and large-capacity coffeemaker. Main heat source is the gas fireplace, which quickly warms the living area. Bed was outstanding. Amply provided with towels and washcloths. Despite its fairly isolated location is easy to find and only a mile from the main road (H58). You're in the wilds here, and the stars are bright at night. Highly recommended. '
