Casa Alegria – Your Andalusian Escape in Almuñécar

Casa Alegria is a traditional Andalusian-style villa that we fell in love with at first sight. Located in the heart of the Costa Tropical, it offers spectacular panoramic views of the sea, the majestic mountains, and the charming nearby towns. It is the perfect destination for those seeking year-round sunshine, exquisite local cuisine, and endless outdoor activities.

Unique Layout & Modern Comfort

Our villa features a unique architectural design where you enter from the top floor, descending into the heart of the home.

Top Floor (Entrance Level): Right at the entrance, you will find private parking and our jacuzzi (extra paid). Imagine spending your evenings in the warm water, admiring the "mountains falling into the sea."

Mid-Floor: The social heart of the villa. This level features a cozy living room with a fireplace, a dining area, a fully equipped kitchen, and a bathroom. From here, you can step out onto the shaded terrace—complete with a grill and dining table—perfect for al fresco meals or a comfortable day of remote work.

Lower Floor: The quiet sleeping zone, featuring three bedrooms and two bathrooms.Master Bedroom: One double bed.

Guest Bedroom 1: Two single beds.

Guest Bedroom 2: Two single beds (arranged as one large double bed).

For your convenience, there are two walk-in closets and a dedicated laundry room.



Garden & Recreation

All bedrooms offer direct access to the lower terrace—an ideal spot for morning yoga or a game of ping-pong. From this terrace, stairs lead down to the lush garden and our heated swimming pool (heating available for an extra fee).

Location & Activities

Beach & Town: Almuñécar beach is just a 15–20 minute walk (or a short drive) away, where you’ll find vibrant beach bars and restaurants. The city center is a pleasant 30–35 minute walk.

Day Trips: We are perfectly situated between Malaga and Granada (both approx. 1 hour away). Explore the world-famous Alhambra, enjoy authentic Flamenco shows, or indulge in high-end dining.

Sports & Adventure: A true paradise for active travelers! Enjoy paragliding, canyoning, kayaking, windsurfing, or cycling (both road and MTB).

Ski & Surf: The Sierra Nevada ski resort is only 1.5 hours away (open Nov–April). It offers the rare opportunity to ski in the morning and swim in the Mediterranean by the afternoon!







Practical Information

Parking: Free private parking is available at the entrance. Additionally, there is easy and safe parking on the quiet street directly in front of the gate.

Additional Fees:

Pool heating: €100 / week

Jacuzzi access: €70 / week
