'We had a fantastic time at the botel. The food was excellent, and the staff were genuinely warm and helpful. Everything ran smoothly and the atmosphere was great. The views were absolutely mind-blowing waking up to that scenery was a highlight. The only downside was the lack of air conditioning (or even fans) in the room. With how hot European summers are getting, that made the nights a bit uncomfortable. Still, we really enjoyed our stay overall.'

'Belle chambre, simple et avec une bonne literie. Le seul petit reproche , peut-être une meilleure isolation phonique avec le couloir notamment. Sinon très bien, bon petit déjeuner et les 3 heures de bains offertes par nuité sont intéressantes. '

In the restaurant at dinner (2nd November) he greeted all other guests, but coming to our table, looked us up and down rather disparagingly, and didn't even say good evening. My husband and I are in our late 60s, perfectly dressed, and are not used to being insulted in this way.

'Gruyeres Rooms was a wonderful hotel! The room was huge, and I woke up to a beautiful view in the morning. It’s in the center of the village but very quiet. Plus, I missed a couple of train connections and arrived at the station down below after 10:00. I called the hotel and the manager’s brother walked me through everything. Yay!'
