Amazing stay!
My fiance (now husband) and I loved our weekend at this cabin, and we will be back! We had planned on bringing our kids, but it ended up being just us. The property has some amazing views, and we loved sitting out on the deck with our morning coffee and stargazing in the evening with some wine, listening to the frogs, crickets, and whippoorwills (note: bring insect repellent!) It was also awesome having a pool table and arcade game in the family room. We got married in the front yard early Sunday morning, just us, with only a minister and photographer, and we couldn't have asked for a more beautiful and serene setting. Many thanks to Brian for a wonderful weekend at this gorgeous place!

Annual Girls’ Weekend
This is our groups 3rd time heading to the wine trails and staying at one of Brian’s properties. Everything was wonderful. The cabin is secluded on its own property and right on the wine trail to several wineries. It was actually bigger than what we expected. The beds were comfortable and there were plenty of amenities. Brian is always so responsive and accommodating! Looking forward to our next stay.

Great home and location
We rented this property for my daughter's bachelorette party and it was wonderful. We cooked meals together and enjoyed the outdoors. Wonderful home with lots of room. The large master bathroom was great for several women to get ready in without being cramped. Brain was wonderful!

Spring Break
My family and I stayed for 4 days over spring break. We loved that it was a short drive to many hiking spots like Bald Knob or Pomona Bridge. The house was stocked with snacks and juice boxes upon arrival which my kids loved! We all enjoyed the pool table, darts and board games! Nice quiet country location with a beautiful view of the forest in the mornings. Very peaceful and relaxing. Would definitely recommend to friends!

Perfect get-away!
The home was a perfect location for two families to have a stay-cation in a large home on a beautiful lot! We made all of our own meals, loved the extra large dining table and all the seating! Two living room spaces (one perfect for the kiddos) while the adults are just down the hall. We loved our stay and Brian was an awesome host staying in contact for any questions or requests! We would definitely return!! :-)

Gorgeous cabin and excellent host

Above our Expectations!
We had 4 families from 3 states and chose this awesome property for a fantastic time together. We hiked nearby at Little Grand Canyon, visited wineries along the Shawnee Wine Trail and finished each day with a sunset then bonfire. There was a small neighborhood store with many supplies and a little longer drive to a Kroger for big trips. This property had plant of room for us to spread out. We prepared many meals including a Thanksgiving feast in the large kitchen. We thoroughly enjoyed staying at Big Sky and would absolutely recommend.

Great Getaway
Had a wonderful weekend here! It was the perfect girl's weekend getaway. We enjoyed the extras of the house, like the pool table and games, and the large deck was perfect for soaking up the sun. The owner was very responsive and helpful in planning our weekend. Definitely recommend!

Very nice rural location. Prepare to have food/supplies or drive 30 minutes or more to eat/shop. Property is stocked with many items that can be used for cooking, cleanup, games, music.

The 4 bedroom hone was full of happy campers . This was our 3rd stay here and enjoy it so much . We were very comfortable in this fully equipped home. Hired a van from Wright Way Bus and had a carefree fun Wine Tasting weekend.

Wildlife and serenity
I have stayed at this property three times now, and I keep coming back because of the location, spacious house, cleanliness, and the property owner is so accommodating and responsive to questions or needs during the stay. Every morning and evening, deer can be seen grazing through the yard or playing around the pond on the property. The house is BIG and has plenty of room for dining, hanging out, and playing pool or games in the big family room. I will definitely be back, and would recommend this property to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway full of fresh air, wildlife, and serenity. A nice break from the city life!

Spent 2 days here for a sibling reunion, 4 sibs and spouses.

The cabin was very clean and spacious. We stayed with friends for a 40th birthday. The property was super close to the wine trail which is why we chose it. Brian was super friendly and helpful. Perfect place for a group of friends!

Will always be a favorite place to stay!
This is my third trip to Brian’s property and every time it gets better! He was quick to get in touch with me, the place was clean and ready for us, and the deck and campfire was a perfect place to sit throughout our stay! Very close to the wine trail and secluded enough to have your privacy! 10/10 recommend!

Bachelorette cabin
We arrived on Thursday and stayed through Sunday- The cabin is spacious with plenty of room for air mattresses (provided). Tons of towels, washcloths and sheets/pillows/blankets. We had a group of 14-16 girls, plus another 8 who came for dinner. Plenty of room for everyone to eat. Friday was a huge storm that knocked out power for three hours. Brian responded right away and sent his manager out with several flashlights and lanterns (battery operated) and it was almost as if we had power there was so much light (And if it happens again-those are all there!) Brian sent me suggestions for bus operators, and where to cater in bbq. The drivers knew where to go and were also right on time. The wineries are about 15-20 minutes away and the area is beautiful. Lots of outdoor seating on the wraparound porch. We had a great time -which was needed. We have been trying to hold my sisters wedding three times in the last year, but due to COVID, have rescheduled. We were excited to finally celebrate her this weekend for her bachelorette, and her wedding in two weeks.

A perfect retreat off the grid
The stars at night next to a roaring fire will stick with me as a highlight of my spring break. My kids loved the pool table and full-sized galaga in the game room. The house was spacious and great for a big group. The host was so nice and responsive. Keep in mind, you are super remote, so the hot spot WiFi is a bit spotty.

Perfect getaway!!
If you are in need of a relaxing getaway, Big Sky Cabin is the perfect place! We loved the location of this cabin, it was away from town & had amazing views of nature all around us. The cabin was beautifully decorated, very clean & had so much room. It’s perfect for a large family, group or even two people like my husband and I. We enjoyed all the extras provided in the game room, the pool table, throw back board games & a cozy fire in the fireplace. We had no trouble hooking up to wifi, we even switched our Cel phones to wifi calling to ensure we didn’t miss any calls. Our stay was everything we needed and more! I also really appreciated Brian the owner, he is truly awesome! Brian went above & beyond to make sure we had the most wonderful experience possible. We definitely will stay again & recommend you don’t hesitate to book your stay now!

The property is in a beautiful area and the house is very nice! Brian was exceptionally helpful and was super responsive to address any questions or concerns. The property is remote and gets Internet through a WiFi hotspot, so be sure to coordinate with the owner in advance if having web access for meetings, etc., is a priority.

Wife’s Birthday weekend with friends
The owner, Brian, made everything about this weekend easy and great experience! We went to this home with 6 other friends for my wife’s birthday and went to the area wineries. This home accommodating the 8 of us very well. Loved the family room with pool table! The outdoor setting was so relaxing! Will be renting from Brian again!

The property is a beautiful, spacious, quiet home to get away and relax. The owner answered text questions immediately and knows the area which is very helpful. Nothing is right next door except mother nature but every trip for dinner or the store was a beautiful experience in itself.

Relaxing, Secluded, and LOTS of fun
WOW, this is a fabulous place! The house is on a large plot of property in the country. A perfect getaway if you need a break and relaxation. My family (5) went there for an extended weekend to relax and visit the local wineries. The view from the house overlooking the valley and pond is awesome. We enjoyed a fire using the firepit one evening (a little challenge to find wood, but one of the locals helped us out). The pool table, dart board, and video games in the "play room" are fantastic for family fun. You cannot go wrong with this house.

Peaceful Get Away
My husband and I wanted to get away for a long weekend. We had heard of the wine country in the area and were very happy that we found this place. It is only about a 10 - 15 minute drive to some of the wineries. We had a wonderful afternoon at Von Jakob Winery- Dallas was very helpful and friendly.But really the best part is how far away it feels from everything! The best part for us was the deck, view and quite. The cabin did have everything we needed and more- who doesn’t love a good game Spave Invaders? We did some short hikes around the area at The Little Grand Canyon and Natural Bridge- both are beautiful places and easy hikes. We did find some other trails and wineries we would like to check out but like I said it was a short trip - however I am so looking forward to our next stay here!

Great vacation rental.
The house had plenty of room and outdoor space for our family. There was no cable tv and limited WiFi. Besides that the house had everything we needed for a great vacation. I will definitely recommend this rental and would stay again.
