Roberto was great, very helpful. description is slightly misleading, as said 6 restaurants & 3 bars but there was not 1 nearby. views are stunning! apartment has no living room which is a shame as nowhere to sit together (except outside). Overall disappointed with accuracy of listing.

The Good- Gerry’s Pub Francesca The view The Bad - the pictures on the website are not very accurate. There’s no pool, the building is less than desirable, especially behind the building. There’s no rooftop lounging. Additionally, we were charged 58€ for clean free, destination fee, and tourist tax. The Ugly - Mold in the rooms. One set of towels and sheets the entire stay. No air condition. Out dated. There’s a dilapidated building behind the apartment... very creepy and scary.

Die werbung ist nicht entsprechend dem was man bekommt. Die Aussicht vom Apartment war schön die terasse nicht gereinigt. Überall Blätter, der tisch dreckig die sitzkissen voller flecken. Von pool war keine rede, die wohnungen sind am Hügel verteilt und nicht an einem hotel mit poolanlage und Restaurants angeschlossen. Preis Leistung stimmt hier für uns nicht. Parken am strassenrand möglich.

MOLD INFESTED
This place was a disaster. First of all, it was not remotely close to the place in the picture. We got to the room and were immediately taken aback by the condition of the bed linens. There were holes, stains, and the pillows were pancakes. We continued to settle in and that was when we noticed the black mold on the bedroom walls. As we continued to look around, there was mold EVERYWHERE. We immediately contacted hotels.com, who did absolutely nothing to help our situation. When we contacted the hotel, they sent a housekeeper to “clean” the mold. It was obviously pointless. The staff then got incredibly rude and basically insinuated that the mold was there because of us. It was a nightmare.

A great place, magnificent views and good service
We stayed for four nights in a lovely apartment about halfway up the hill between Amalfi (at the bottom of the hill) and Pogerolo (at the top of the hill and where you check in). There's bus stop almost outside the door and buses pass every 30 minutes during the day. Only the brave should try the walk! (and don't take taxis, they're outrageously expensive). Check in was easy and Francesca drove us to the apartment, showed us round and was at the end of WhatsAp to answer any questions or give advice. Grazia! A quiet spot with magnificent views over the sea and Amalfi harbour. Well kitted out kitchen and a comfortable bed. I'd recommend it to anyone and would be very happy to stay there again should the chance arise.

This property had a beautiful view of the coast! The staff were extremely helpful with transportation around Amalfi, restaurant recommendations, and arranging transport to and from the airport/ train station. Our contact, Francesca, was always quick to respond to any questions or concerns. They accommodated an early check-in and we were able to check out early in the morning. Overall a great location and great experience. Would highly recommend to others.

Tranquility with a view
I was pleasantly surprised to find that the accommodation provided surpassed my expectations. The room was spacious, clean and had access to a balcony with a view that most would envy. I will definitely recommend it to my friends

the hotel located on the top of the hill 15mins bus ride from the busy Amalfi. bus run every 30mins to and from Pogerola. the reception located at Gerry Bar.. Francesca was a great friendly lady. room were spaces and clean with the sea view out of the window. the hotel mentions they have an outside pool but Francesca has avoided out question when we ask about the pool and trying to show us places down town to swim at the coast instead. she told us breakfast start at 9am but once we get there it wasn't open. came back at 9.45am and no one were there so we have to eat and have our coffee at a local bar. mention it to Francesca and she said she will give us 2 croissant in return...:(( the hot water in the shower doesn't work. we hardly get any. showered in semi cold water. the apartment is down the hill so its a fair walk up to the main town and no complementary shuttle bus. when you're checking out with suitcases you have to drag it up yourself to the road if you don't have a car. beside that the town was nice and cool with a few nice local family run restaurant and local mini market selling local produces.

Beautiful home in the Amalfi mountains. We had a rental car, so the driving can be tricky, but worth it. The place had plenty of amenities, but be careful leaving food out because apparently the whole cliff has an ant problem. Gerry's pub offered good food, and the pool, although pricey, had a gorgeous view and was nice to cool down. Try to negotiate a better price for the pool if you only want to splash around for a short time.

The experience was good. It was a bit tricky to find the place. Also I think for the price it was expensive for what we got. But amalfi is expensive. Next time I would stay in an actual hotel. It is easy to get to the city Center and walking down is nice. If you have a family it is a good place.

Pelo descrição parece um condomínio, mas na verdade não é. É grupo de pessoas que alugam casas que ficam nas colinas com vista para Amalfi, por isso não tem piscina, e a praia somente de ônibus. Assim encontrar a casa é complicado, tem ir a um bar chamado Jarrys Bar. E de lá saber qual será sua casa. A vista da casa era deslumbrante e o jardim eram agradável.

Didn’t realize it was an apartment feel rather than a hotel. You will need a car as amalfi is very far down the mountain. It was clean minus the spider webs. We came back late at night and the walk up to our room was completely dark, no lights at alll. But the view was amazing.

Dear Anonymous guest, write a review with no guest information is not so fair because we cannot understand where you stayed, answering with custom details regarding your stay. In any case, we always are happy to receive feedback to improve more and mor our quality. We want only to clarify that: - it is clearly described tihs is a country hotel made by apartments, not an hotel with rooms (normally, if a guest looks to pictures of apartments, he could understand by himself that they are all apartments! so not an hotel) - you say "very far from amalfi": amalfi hills apartments are located in Amalfi! the name says "Amalfi hills", that has a detailed meaning, hills of amalfi. the most far apartment from the beach down is 3 km, so 10 minutes driving or by bus, you can easy check google map, we have all addresses close to the each apartment selection, it is not so true as you say "very far", 10 minutes.. - we don't know what was your apartment, but we have no apartment with missing lights on patio or way to reach, strange feedback that we could verify if apartment or guest info were mentioned. Our advice is to read better before to book your holiday, because it is not so happy for guest to not satisfy their false expectations and put bad reviews to structures that are doing their job in the best way every time. The room is not clean, we stayed in there for 4 nights, nobody will come to clean the floor & the toilet, no kettle in the kitchen, only provided one set of towels for each guest for 4 days. However, when we found problems with the door lock & the hair dryer is not working, they come to fix it very soon. Location, needs take bus to the town. Stunning view from the balcony of the apartment.

We are afraid about your claims, but it is clearly described on the main page of our structure on all websites that: - this is a country hotel made by apartments on the top of Amalfi - there is no daily cleaning considering they are apartments and it is written that if you needed for extra cleaning, we fastly organize for it We are happy to read that you appreciated our fast assistance and help, but you could ask if you needed for extra cleaning or towels, it is not so fair to review 2 on 5 for a misunderstanding caused by not so much attention to read information on country hotel before to book. It is not a hotel, apartments for rent.
O apartamento tem cozinha, terraço, uma excelente vista. Não é um hotel, pois não tem serviço de quarto e nem portaria. Somente o nome é de hotel. Fica em um bairro de Amalfi, Pogerola. Do vilarejo pode-se ir de ônibus tranquilamente. A pé mais de 1 hora e é perigoso, pois não tem calçada para pedestres. De ônibus é tranquilo, apenas 10minutos. O sino da igreja toca 7.00hs. Para 1 ou 2 dias quebra o galho. There are kitchen, terrace, the apartment has a beautiful view! It is not a hotel, because there isn't front desk and diary service. Hotel is just the name. The apartment is not in Amalfi center, it is in Pogerola neighbor. you can go to Amalfi downtown by bus, is 10 minutes and just 1.30 euros. Walking is almost impossible. It is more than an hour and very dangerous, no sidewalks. Very early we can hear the church bells, 7 o'clock. It is good for 1 or 2 days.

I loved alalafi country hills hotel and everything about the town Pogerola. The room was great, not ada accessible bit that was not meeeded for us. Only a short bus ride to the beach and city venter or a walk. Do not rent a car. About an hour from Naples airport. Gerry’s restaurants was Amazing and soooo fun.
