We arrived by night and booked the room with sea view. We were so happy seeing this. And you can directly look down to the only bar in Amalfi which is only a 5 minutes walk away. The bathroom was super nice and the view while having breakfast as well. The only thing I wanted to mention is the breakfast possibilities. If you’re vegan or vegetarian there aren’t many options and the only option is white bread or cake. But later we found out it’s pretty common in Italy to have such a breakfast, so we don’t mind that. Altogether it’s a super nice and beautiful hotel where you can enjoy the view and be directly in the city.

Mysigt och prisvärt
Detta är ett väldigt prisvärt hotell. Otroligt centralt i staden och nära till stranden, kanske max 5 minuters gångväg. Vi fick nog det minst attraktiva rummet i att det inte hade någon balkong eller utsikt mot havet, utan istället utsikt mot bergen, men den utsikten var ändå jättefin. Vi stördes inte heller av gatan på havssidan, som andra har kommenterat på, så detta rum kanske är att föredra ändå. Litet kylskåp, tekokare, TV och hårtork på rummet. Air condition är på automatiskt. Frukost serveras och kan ätas på altanen som visas i bilderna. Jag fick be om tevatten varje morgon och äggen är så hårdkokta att gulan har en grå hinna, men annars en varierande frukost med mycket bakverk (sockerkaka, croissants etc.) Det är 77 trappsteg upp till hotellet och sedan omkring 30 till i hotellet, men det är bra träning efter all pasta. För att vara så centralt och ändå för ett rimligt pris rekommenderas detta hotell starkt, så länge ni är villiga att gå i trappor.

Nice hotel with no AC
We stayed here 4 nights and the air conditioner did not work a single one. We slept with the windows open but it was still very hot. The bathroom lights were too dim, we did not receive shampoo/shower gel packets on the first day we arrived but maybe it was overlooked since we never mentioned it and we actually got them on the following days. The location was great, the views from our room and the shared patio were amazing. The breakfast was pretty good and the staff was friendly imo. The hotel was small but pretty cute. The 77 stairs is normal in Amalfi , not too big of a deal honestly as this hotel is in a prime location with multiple restaurants/shops nearby. I would stay again in this place if they fix the AC.

Don’t waste your money at this place, stay at a different hotel. Air conditioning was not working and staff couldn’t care less. They were extremely disinterested and unfriendly. Hotel was in a loud area which made sleeping at night difficult too - needed an open window with A/C broken. Breakfast wasn’t great either compared to other hotels I have stayed at in Italy.

Staff was helpful. Parking guy was on time. Luggage service was a bit delayed but it is understandable as people have to carry you bags 77 steps up to the B&B. Tipping very appreciated. At check out car was waiting at plaza on time. Luggage was a bit delayed as one guy have to carry two bags from B&B down to plaza. That was ok and we have to call to reception for status. Nice place.

Efterlängtad resa som blivit uppskjuten pga Corona
Det enda sättet att komma till hotellet är via de 77 trappsteg. Så inget för funktionshindrade. Men utsikten blir en belöning när man kommer upp. Vi hade juniorsvit nr 5 (av 12 rum) och det var ett rymligt rum med utsikt över havet och stranden. Möblerna är av äldre slaget som jag själv tycker är väldigt charmigt och hemtrevligt. Ett personligt och mysigt litet hotell där receptionen hjälpte till med det man bad om. Städerskan/frukostvärdinnan pratar dock ingen engelska. Frukosten är sparsam med övervägande sötsaker. Men det fanns vitt bröd, toast, ägg, skinka, ost, yoghurt, färsk frukt och juice. Kaffe rekommenderas att be extra om av personalen, då det som står på buffén är ljummet/kallt. Läget är centralt till det mesta, Piazza dei Dogi, Piazza Duomo, stranden busstation, båtarna, restauranger, litet supermarket mm. En härlig vecka!

Abbiamo soggiornato x una notte.. Arrivati un po' prima del check in.. La stanza non era pronta..siamo usciti e ritornati all'orario stabilito ore 14:00.. ancora nulla... abbiamo atteso per una mezz'oretta.. ee sinceramente questo non ci è piaciuto per niente.. Comunque tutto sommato.. Lo consiglio..stanza standard grande e spaziosa.. Qposto facilissimo da raggiungere.. Ultima cosa consiglierei alle ragazze che preparano la colazione in terrazza di essere più solari... Non da ricevimento funebre..

This hotel was beautiful. The views were superb overlooking the sea. It had a fantastic shower with full water pressure I’m used to back home. Plenty of hot water. Nice TV and table and chair in front of the big window. The check-in was east once I arrived. Chiara was very nice, and even gave me a dinner recommendation which turned out delicious. She and the lady at check out were both so nice and assured me that holding my bags after checkout was no problem. This saved me so much hassle. The flight of steps isn’t bad at all, they are wide steps so you can easily take breaks as you need. In fact, the only trouble I had was finding the entrance to the steps. You must enter a narrow alleyway that leads to a small Piazza. From there you will find the bottom of the stairs. From that point the rest of the trip was so fantastic. Grazie Mille a Hotel Croce di Amalfi. You made my trip possible. :)

A good place to stay in Amalfi
We liked our double room "Italian style" with seaview. It was a stunning view whereas also a bit limited due to another house and it was spacious enough and sufficient for us. It was sometimes a bit noisy by night when there are many persons still on the street. The window does not close very tight. The hotel could do more to protect the environment and minimize small plastic sachets of shampoo or individual portions wrapped in plastic on the breakfast buffet. The staff was very friendly and helpful, we appreciate your efforts! Be prepared to "climb" 77 steps to the hotel but you are in the midst of Amalfi's life and close to all.

Vi hade rum nr 4 som hade en balkong med utsikt mot havet och hamnen och husen på klipporna. Verkligen fantastiskt. Mycket nöjd med rummet! Älskar kakelplattorna på golven. Det negativa kan vara att vägen går precis nedanför och det låter en del. Även restaurangen nedanför kan låta. (Vi upptäckte även att lampan på väggen i rummet blev en form av resonanslåda som förstärkte ljudet så med en tidningen på den så blev det bättre) Frukosten är typisk Italiens med mycket sött. Men ägg, rostebröd, skinka, ost och yoghurt finns. Nära till båtar och bussar.

The location is great for the town and the waterfront. The hotel is up a long staircase but that’s how the locals live in Amalfi and adds to the charm. Breakfast was really good and the view from the outside terrace is incredible.

Familjärt och genuint boende med stil
På Hotel Santa Croce i Amalfi bor man centralt (dock många trappsteg upp) med underbar havsutsikt i gamla kvarter. Få vackra rum, en familjär stämning och ett genuint boende med charm! Frukost serveras på terassen med utsikt över hamnen.

방위치가 아쉬웠네요
위치가 굉장히 좋고 직원분들도 친절하며 깔끔했습니다! 다만 방위치가 입구쪽으로 배정되어서 바깥에 사람들이 얘기를 하는데 너무 시끄러웠습니다. 잠을 자는 도중에도 어디서 경보음? 전화벨이 울려서 깨났고 에어컨도 키면 엄청난 소리가 나서 사용할 수가 없었습니다. 호텔은 좋았는데 방위치때문에 아쉬웠던 숙박이네요

Das Hotel an sich war schön, hatte aber leider das schlechteste Zimmer ohne Aussicht,dunkel und kalt.Leider auch keinen Zimmercafe, obwohl angegeben und das Personal war zu wenig und sehr unprofessionell.

한번의 경험으로 충분한 호텔.
기본적으로 영어로 의사소통이 어렵다. 특히 주차를 위한 발렛 과정에서 상당히 많은 시간을 허비하였다. 불필요한 주차비용까지 지불하였다. 호텔이라고 하기에는 방 안에 기본적인 어메니티가 부족하였으며 콘센트도 부족한 편이다. 조식 메뉴도 적고 매일 똑같은 메뉴가 반복 된다. 호텔 예약 사이트에서와 달리 호텔의 정보가 다른 것도 있다. 예를들면 피트니스 센터는 호텔 내에 없다. 다만 포터 서비스는 유료가 아닌 호텔 비용에 포함되어 있었다. 포터 서비스를 통해 짐을 옮길 때 캐리어를 조심히 다루지 않는 편이다. 다시 아말피에 방문한다면 재방문은 하지 않을 것이다.

What a lovely hotel! We had a beautiful room with a breathtaking view. The bed was super comfy room very clean. Breakfast was great. Yes there are a few stairs to walk up to get to the hotel but they aren’t hard. Your in Amalfi there are stairs everywhere.

The breakfast was incredible and the view was amazing. Unfortunately the reception was not helpful and closed at 8 pm. You have to climb more than a few steps to get here but the view is worth it; may not be suitable for the elderly and definitely not wheelchair accessible. Thank you to the breakfast and cleaning lady she was the sweetest! The room was also clean and a good size but we paid for one with a view. Overall, the view is what makes this hotel exceptional.

Hotel Croce Di Amalfi has a great view but the rooms need updating. Breakfast was good too we ate on the beautiful balcony overlooking the city.

Location, location, location...The hotel location is great for base point to explore Amalfi coast. Easy access to buses and ferry to move around the different towns.
