'A fascinating grand old hotel from the 60s. The neighborhood is a bit seedy with street vendors all around. Staff was very helpful if limited in English. We were the only guests for our 3 day stay. A bit like the Eagles "Hotel California".'

'I loved staying here. For the price I found it a great value, it was clean, comfortable beds, if you take a/c room you won't have problems with heat. Most rooms have interior looking windows, so you still have light coming in, and the noise is barely perceptible (and I'm a light sleeper). Five stars for the staff- Carlita, Rafael and everyone else goes out of their way to make sure you enjoy your stay! If you're on a budget this is excellent choice, and frankly I've seen rooms im Iquitos costing...

'Very nice hotel, big rooms in an old villa, fully equipped. The staff was very friendly and helped with everything you need. The pool area is rather small (it's in the patio and there are no sun loungers), but a nice location where you can spend some time in the shade reading when it is too hot to go outside.
