'Kate and Paul were exceptionally welcoming before the check-in time. They invited us to leave our car in the car park while we went walking for the day. They took our luggage up to our room which went over and above what we would race as good service. Throughout our stay, Paul and Kate were wonderful , friendly, knowledgeable & helpful hosts. Highly recommended. We will definitely be back.'

'Lovely place to stay in Grasmere, the bed was so comfortable, the bathroom was super clean and looked completely brand new with some great toiletries. Just a super relaxing stay.'

'Dit zou een 4-sterrenaccomodatie zijn, en volgens de prijs die we betaalden mocht dat ook wel. De accommodatie is gedateerd, badkamer met jaccuzi is oud, geen mengkraan maar een oude hot/coldkraan die moeilijk te regelen viel. Dunne muren, het leek alsof de gasten uit de aangrenzende kamer in onze badkamer stonden te douchen, om van de ruziënde kinderen nog maar te zwijgen. Extra betalen voor de parking, terwijl alle dagbestedingen verplaatsing met de auto vereisen, is niet fijn. £10 per nacht...

'A small B&B but everything is done to perfection. My room had a lovely view of the mountain & church. The bed was comfy, everything was spotlessly cleaned. Breakfasts were always well-prepared and the best of what we had for our entire trip including our stay at much bigger hotels. We had a little problem finding the parking lot the first day. I walked in and checked with Giles how to circle back. Without asking, when we drove back, Giles had already hung out in the front waiting to help...
