'Got a last minute deal and was then upgraded. Very comfy bed, quiet room wifi worked well , refurbished shower hot and strong. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious . Minimal staff tried hard and very friendly. '

'The breakfast was superb. We tried the evening menu special which was a Pheasant breast.It wasn't the best I've tasted, it was nicely presented but it was rather salty and dry.
The bed mattress provided a good nights sleep and the room was spacious and clean. Well worth the 5 stars'

'We had a wonderful stay at Victorian House. Alex was a fabulous host and nothing was too much trouble. They accommodated us being vegan and gluten free at breakfast and oat milk in the room. There were also surprise balloons and a card in the room for my birthday and a free upgrade which was a wonderful surprise. We definitely recommend Victorian House and hope to stay again '
