'Dit familiehotel heeft eenvoudige kamers maar het wordt me hart en ziel gerund. Men spreekt er matig Engels maar doet er alles aan om het de klanten naar de zin te maken. Hele aardige mensen! Er komen nog niet veel Europese toeristen maar vooral Thai en Chinezen. Het restaurant biedt goed eten (wel pittig)en heeft uitzicht op het kanaal. Je kan ook op de vlonder aan het water gaan zitten en je kan instappen voor een tocht over de kanalen om bv. vuurvliegjes te bekijken. Ze hielpen ons goed...

'Spartan but clean and comfortable. I stayed in a deluxe room on the 5th floor. Large space, with plenty of power outlets and more amenities than I would expect at this price. Good water pressure with endless hot water available. Huge TV with cable channels including several in English. Courteous staff checked me in and then left me alone. 'The property is in an excellent location with lots to do within walking fistance. Plus, there's a nice museum, historic structures and displays on site. 'The first impression is that you arrived at some dodgy short time hotel - confirmed with the rooms which allow to hide the car behind a door. Hotel is fairly clean - though jacuzzi was not. The beds are far too high (I'm 1.92 m and did not find it comfortable to get into bed - for the shorter Thai extremely inconvenient or if elder - impossible). Location is convenient - and price is not high'
