Come inside and let us make you feel like you're at home. This great home offers two large bedrooms with TWO BATHS. It is a split level duplex with your bedrooms a half flight of stairs up. No guests above you. Just bring your suitcases! Newly remodeled top to bottom to not only offer comfort, but convenience as well. Smart home features sleep number beds, free internet, and several large smart TVs so you can stream all of your favorite shows and subscription services. Perfect for corporate travelers, a family vacation, ski getaway, or a trip to the city, this home is sure to please. Located just four blocks from the park strip and across the street from West Chester Lagoon and the Coastal Trail System. It is a great place to walk, ride bikes, and explore in your down time. It has a generously stocked kitchen with fully stocked coffee bar that includes complimentary cider, tea, hot chocolate, creamer and sugar. Washer, dryer and dishwasher in unit. Great location and nice house

The location was very convenient to Anchorage and the surrounding areas. The house was clean and well maintained. The waking trail and lagoon is a short distance from the house and easily accessible. The home was well equipped with coffee maker, coffee, spices, sugar, all utensils, plates, etc. plenty of towels and toiletries for our entire stay, even shampoo, conditioner, and body wash! My youngest used the Queen air mattress which was super comfortable. Very nice home and helpful hosts, we highly recommend it!

Great place for a business visit...

In Anchorage for a short business trip with a colleague - a much better option than a hotel, house was clean and well equipped and comfortable. Host was a great communicator and easy to deal with when we had to change the dates of our stay - thanks!

Too Bad About the Dog Smell

I am a frequent traveler for work and leisure, but normally do not write reviews. In this case I did so because I think it is Information I myself would have liked to know. The Good: Our check-in was simple as they generally are when just using a door code. The house itself is in a great area for walking, biking, and enjoying the outdoor beauty. The property is well maintained and instructions were simple.The Unfortunate: As soon as we walked in the door we were hit with an intense dog smell. It so pungent we were required to open the windows (which didn’t help much). At the time we considered reaching out to VRBO and asking to cancel the booking, but alas we’re exhausted from 14 hours of travel. I need to point out, I have a dog back at home in DC and I’m not hypersensitive to the smell of dog in a home. However, both us staying agreed it was uncomfortably intense and were stunned each time we returned from being out to the property. It’s unfortunate as the location, unit, and price were all acceptable. Hopefully it is something the owner can work on in the future. Either way, I would have wanted to know about the issue.

Location, location, location!!!!

It was SO COZY and felt like home to us! Location was incredible! Daily walks were some of our highlights.. so much to see on these hikes. This host goes ABOVE and BEYOND! Tons of extras that he didn’t have to do. I’ve stayed at places with nothing.. including no salt and pepper. With this place were spices, appliances, perfect pillows, coffee, tea. iron, blow dried.. laundry soap!!! NOTHING MISSING! (We only ran out to get creamer) Darling home that we would rent again!!

Welcome to Anchorage!

A perfect stop to start our Alaska adventure! It is very convenient to the airport which was very helpful as 3 of our party were delayed until 10:00 pm. It was so easy to return and pick them up late at night after a long day of travel! Didn’t do any cooking but coffee machine was great! Place is spotless and hosts provided great information and hospitality! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Short Anchorage Stay - Great!

Property was perfect for our needs. Two traveling couples spending a couple nights in city before exploring Alaska and then a cruise. Property was a short drive to downtown eateries and a grocery store was less than 5 minutes up the road. Property was clean and the beds are Sleep Number so you can adjust to what helps you sleep. It is a split level so not very many stairs to get upstairs to the bedrooms. Nice towels and bedding. Only negative is sometimes you can hear some of the speeding cars on the nearby road. Infrequent as the regular traffic seems to just blend in like white noise. The property is tucked into a quaint neighborhood which was quiet and easily accessible to a walking/biking trail.

We stayed in Anchorage for two nights before boarding our cruise. This property was perfect - plenty of room for the 6 of us! It had everything would could need, from towels and dishes to hairdryers and laundry pods. The property was super clean and right next to a park trail.
