Wilt u ontsnappen in een van 's werelds hoogst gerangschikte skisteden? We zijn trots om ons penthouse, hoekopstelling, moderne appartement aan te bieden als een luxe en handige thuis weg van huis.

Ons appartement ligt op slechts een paar minuten afstand van het Alyeska Resort van wereldklasse, op loopafstand van lokale coffeeshops, restaurants, bistro's en onze lokale brouwerij en supermarkt. Een handige pendeldienst is 7 dagen (en nachten) per week beschikbaar en een halte ligt op slechts een minuut lopen van de ingang van het appartement.

Ons appartement heeft een open plattegrond met twee ruime slaapkamers aan weerszijden van de woonruimte om comfort en privacy te garanderen. Onze hoofdslaapkamer is voorzien van een kingsize bed dat is uitgerust met beddengoed in resortstijl en een eigen inloopkast en een grote badkamer voor hem en haar. Er is een eigen deur die naar het balkon van de unit leidt, uitgerust met prachtige adirondack-stoelen.

De logeerkamer is voorzien van een groot stapelbed (beide niveaus) met een onderschuifbed. Er is ook een eigen ingang naar de gastenbadkamer.

Beide slaapkamers hebben meerdere ramen met uitzicht op de bergen en zonwering voor onze lange zomerdagen. Tv's zijn beschikbaar in elke slaapkamer met Amazon Fire om toegang te krijgen tot je favoriete streamingdiensten. Elke badkamer is voorzien van diepe badkuipen om de perfecte toets aan een ontspannen avond toe te voegen.

Onze keuken is volledig uitgerust met apparaten, borden en alles wat u nodig heeft voor een huisgemaakte maaltijd. Een elektrische binnen- / buitengrill maakt koken of binnen blijven mogelijk. Onze open eetkamer biedt plaats aan zes personen.

De leefruimte bevat ook een eenpersoonsslaapbank, elektrische open haard, vloerverwarming, veel zitplaatsen en toegang tot het balkon van de unit.

Een ondergrondse garage wordt aangeboden afhankelijk van het seizoen en de beschikbaarheid en parkeren kan op de parkeerplaats rondom de unit.

Beautiful views, quiet environment. Hot tub worked great and was wonderful after long days of hiking adventures. Beds were comfortable, amenities were in working order. Location was perfect for day trips to Whittier, Seward, Anchorage, and local hikes.

Great location and clean

We had a good stay at the condo - amazing location and we loved the large space. We had a couple hiccups though - there weren't sheets available for the twin trundle bed and I think my daughter was allergic to the cow hide rug! Overall, more linens (both sheets and towels) would be helpful for larger groups using the space.

Nice condo with a hot tub. The kitchen was very well stocked and they anticipate most all of your needs. We would not have stayed here had we known it was on the third floor as the stairs were very difficult for a disabled person. There is an elevator in the building, but no directions on how to find it, as it was not near the entrance we were directed to use. The hot tub was very nice though and was a requirement for our trip.

Great place in Girdwood

This was the half way point of our Alaska trip. We loved having more space to spread out after over a week in cramped hotel rooms. We enjoyed exploring the area and having a nice place to return to. The condo is spacious and nicely decorated. They has a few extra nice touches such as towels and robes for the hot tub. If you are coming in the winter, they have bin of throw blankets to cuddle up on the couch with. There are a few basic items stocked in the kitchen, plus a few items left from previous guests which was nice. Checking in was straight forward and easy. I would definitely rent again if coming to Alaska.

Place was clean, tidy, and comfortable. Appears to have no air conditioning and was a little warm at first, but small enough to cool off by opening doors. Would have liked to receive check in details a little sooner that we did. We were already traveling when we got the email and I had to search for it and then figure out the instructions. It would have also been helpful to know in advance about the elevator on the other end of the building.

Close to everything in Girdwood

Great location. The condo was clean and comfortable. It was a short stay for us so we did not utilize the kitchen. But it appeared to have the basic items needed for meal prep. We hiked the Crow's Pass Trail to Crystal Lake (4 miles one-way) and highly recommend. So beautiful! We ended the day eating at the Double Musky. It is known for great food with a Cajun flare. The condo was a nice place to come back and relax after a busy day in Girdwood.

Hot house, warm tub

The condo unit was nice enough and well accommodated and clean, however, there were only two window screens in the bedrooms (one in each) and none in the living room area resulting in a very warm and stuffy experience. We couldn't just leave the patio door open (no sliding screen door here) because of the many insects that would fly in. Leaving the windows in the bedrooms open was the best solution, however that only offered a small relief. We were also not told that a maintenance crew would be working on the exterior of the unit (third floor). My wife and I were taking a nap and woke up to a crewman in our window in a bucket lift. We had planned to enjoy the hot tub that afternoon, but the crew spent 2 1/2 hours working on the balcony. When we finally tried to enjoy the hot tub, we found the water tepid and the jets weak although we tried to adjust the temp and the power to the jets. I understand that AC is not a normal accommodation in Alaskan homes, but the lack of a screen door to allow the outside air to circulate into the living room was just not acceptable. It does get warm in the Alaskan summer with the extend daylight hours.

We enjoyed our stay at the Ski and Mountain Retreat. The condo was very clean and nicely decorated. It was very comfortable for our family of four. The only disappointment was that the hot tub was not working (very low water level, foul smelling water and yellowish color). We planned to use this amenity after long hiking days and were unable to for our trip. Owner is aware. Other than that, everything was great!

We had a wonderful stay here. The place was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed. Host was great with communication, and made sure we had everything we needed for a great stay. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a nice place in Girdwood.

Perfect Girdwood location

We live in Anchorage, so this was a quick weekend getaway. The property is fantastic - close to everything you need. Walking distance to restaurants and the grocery store. Close to a nice playground for kiddos. The condo is clean, comfortable, has all the amenities you could want and need and is well stocked with basics and lots of blankets for cold AK temps. The hot tub was amazing and the view is pretty epic. Be sure to eat at the Double Musky for dinner (get there before it opens to get a seat) and the Spoonline (walking distance) has fantastic breakfast. We prefer this condo to the Alyeska hotel - much better experience at this property and still close to everything. Thank you for a great stay! We'll be back! :)

Amazing place!

We had a blast! We had lots of space and enjoyed the hot tub. Everything was located and close to us. There were a few little things that could’ve been better. Just some items that we found that were broken. That’s an easy fix. We made sure to leave the items out that we found. The coffee pot was cracked as well as a mug. The master toilet was running but my husband was able to fix it while we were there.
