Hopefully there are more clear directions on the property especially for the client who will arrive late in the night. For example, to place an address plate in a more visible spot and to have a long lasting light instead of an automatic light to avoid any accident in walking towards the property.

The place was very nice and had everything we needed. It looked just like the pictures. The owner was quick to respond when we had questions. Be aware that that it is attached to another unit, so you need to be conscience of noise you make and you may hear them a bit.

We drove the 45 minutes from Anchorage our first night in Alaska to crash at this spot. Great decision! Comfortable and clean. A few quick walks nearby to virgin falls and the Alyeska Resort up the road!

Birthday Surprise
It was great to have a beautiful place to wake up to. We also had our grown kids come in the one morning early and catch a few hours sleep before heading out on adventures. Rooms were comfortable and hiking areas around made it so nice.

Amazing location and view!!! Clean and located in an awesome area where we saw black bears on our first day at the house as we arrived. A black bear mom and cub were digging thru garbage at house below us which is practically the backyard of condo. Everyone should go find Virgin River Falls which is a 4 min drive through the ‘neighborhood’ and a 3 min walk on a trail to this gorgeous waterfall and lush rainforest- hidden gem. Girdwood Brewery right there and we highly recommend getting food from a food truck there and having a beer. The views from the condo are priceless and it was so nice to have a washer midway thru our rustic trip to do laundry. Christy was always quick to respond and very helpful!!

The inside of the home is beautiful but we spent most of our time on the deck watching planes doing touch and goes, the clouds and blue skies intermingling with the mountain peaks, and relaxing with a glass of wine or local brew. Within walking distance is a great hike along a waterfall.

This property is by far the best VRBO I have stayed in. Christy was quick to respond and was very accommodating. The unit itself was immaculate and stocked with absolutely everything we needed and then some. Will definitely return.

Owner slow to respond.
Make sure to read the description of the property fully before making your reservation here. The search said this property sleeps five adults. After making the reservation I read that it does not. I tried calling and didnt get a response from the owner until 5 days later, two days before my reservation. Luckily, everything worked out this time. But if it hadn't there would have been nothing I could do.

Everything was as advertised. We had a lovely stay at the guesthouse including a relaxing hot tub soak. We especially enjoyed exploring the area and visiting the museums. In August, beautiful flowers were everywhere! We would love to go back again sometime.

The location of the property is unique with a beautiful view. The property is newly finished and was clean. The primary issue was lack of details one would expect such as household basics - coffee filters, bathroom towels, etc.

Jody, I'm wondering if you accidentally reviewed the wrong property. Upon your arrival two full sets of towels were hanging on the towel racks in the bathroom, and several more were neatly folded in the main compartment of the vanity. My coffee maker has a reusable filter that was in it when you arrived and still there upon your departure. It is not designed for paper filters. Before writing reviews that negatively impact a person's business, you really should make sure what you say is factual.

Quiet, Clean and Comfortable
My husband and I found this place exactly as we had expected. It was brand new, clean, well-equipped with up-to-date decor and appliances. The balcony on 3 sides and the views were great with lots of windows and fresh air. The best comfort was the bed which slept SO well! The extra BR made it roomy enough so that the 2 of us could spread out our stuff. If you’re staying in Girdwood you can’t beat it and the price is right! Highly recommend!!

Brand new, nice and comfortable
Great home! Accommodations were nicely appointed with everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. Seeing that it was summer and record high temps the apartment did get quite warm. We would recommend some type of blinds for the windows in the main living area. Other than that absolutely no complaints. The owner was excellent to work with. Highly recommend.
