Our family of five had a great stay! 7 and 8 year olds loved the bunk beds. There was room for our 3 year old in the bottom bunk but he chose to sleep on the blow up toddler bed we brought, and there was lots of space for that. The master bed was very comfortable. We have stayed at many vacation rentals and this had the most storage space by far, in all areas (kitchen, bathroom, both bedrooms). The host did a great job anticipating what guests might need, I thought. There were extra blankets next to the couch and in both bedrooms, family games, lots of coat hooks, a shoe/boot mat, and bench for putting on shoes. We loved the coffee maker and hot water kettle, so we could have tea as well. The tv had Netflix and Disney plus, and we enjoyed hanging out as a family for a couple movies.
The shower was a huge hit - large, rain style, and rock bottom. Our kids usually prefer baths, but wanted to shower every day here. It was nice having the sink outside of the shower/toilet room so someone could be washing up while someone else was using the restroom.
There are a couple things that might be good to keep in mind if you have little kids - not negatives necessarily, just to think about.
There are stone steps to get into the living room and also to get into the master bedroom. Our three year old was fine with them but any younger might be tricky.
The shower is great but there is no bathtub - this could be hard for young kids.
There is not a dining table. There is a counter with stools for eating meals. The stools were not tall enough for our kids to use on the living room dude of the counter, so we moved them into the kitchen. This worked ok but wasn't ideal. There's no lip on the kitchen side, so their legs don't tuck under the counter and the stools block the cabinets. My husband and I stood to eat. None of this mattered to us and it worked out fine, but I can see how it could be a problem for others.
Overall, it was an absolutely wonderful stay and we would definitely stay again if in the area!!! Thanks so much Chris!!
