'The bathroom was very dated. It looked like a nursing home. The flooring was extremely old. The bed was too low. Only one bath towel for 2 people. It was definitely not up to standard for a Hub. The staff was friendly and made you feel welcomed. But this hotel needs serious renovations. '

'A very pleasant stay - stayed for a couple of nights whilst working in the area. All staff were very pleasant. The room was very spacious and comfortable. The hotel is in a very quiet area with lots of scenic countryside around to see. Just be aware that the rooms are on the 3rd floor and there are only stairs for access, but that is to be expected with a listed building.'

'Very friendly and efficient checkin on arrival. Heating all switched on in room, when we arrived so was wonderfully warm. Christmas stocking with some "Goodies"hanging on our bedroom door-knob on Christmas morning. Excellent service throghout our stay.'
