Let me start by saying that lodging options in this city are very limited. If you want more options you are going to have to drive 30 min in either direction to Joplin, MO or Bentonville, AR. Anderson is a small, but friendly town, and everything closes fairly early around 9:00pm.
The hotel has extremely friendly staff and are very welcoming. I checked in about 8:30pm and there were crumbs and bread crust on the front desk counter, likely from a previous customer that had not yet been noticed. The facility does not have an elevator so you have to take the stairs to the second floor. The stairways need to be vacuumed.
The rooms are not high frills, but they are clean. It is next to a gas station and literally right off the highway which makes it very convenient to fuel up and get back on the road when you're leaving.
They offer a continental breakfast in the morning which has more options than most including fruit, muffins, poptarts, cliff bars, waffles, biscuits and gravy, and juice.
Overall, its a great place to stay on a budget or in a crunch. The beds are comfortable and clean and the staff is kind.
