Historische hotels in Andes

'Prachtige inrichting en mooie kamers. Inrijden naar garage in drukke binnenstad is even zoeken, maar als je het weet tegenover hotel dan is het makkelijk. Parkeren was dus zoeken bij aankomst. Kan niet even stoppen om binnen te vragen in de straat met een file aan auto's. Je zit mooi binnen in de stad met veel mogelijkheden als je uit het hotel stapt. Veel info van hotel personeel. Stoombad aanwezig en kan je reserveren. Super de luxe en lekker ontbijt'

'Very nice inn like hotel. Room was spacious and clean. They sent staff to meet our taxi and walk us to the hotel. Nice dinner and breakfast. The room are filled with tapestries and darker wood and colours so thats a different vibe than a modern hotel. Front desk staff very pleasant. '

'Fantastic stay at La Basilica Quito. Great location with good security, very friendly owners and staff. English spoken. Very clean and nice rooms, comfortable beds and bathroom with all amenities. Some of the rooms are located in-house, which makes them a bit stuffy due to lack of ventilation, but this is minor. Right in the hart of Old Quito at 5 minutes walk from historic square with cathedral, museums, presidential palace, and also the National Basilica. '

'Hoewel een kort verblijf van 2 nachten, een prima tijd gehad in het in historische centrum zeer centraal gelegen hotel. Ook van het straatverkeer geen last, mede omdat de straat relatief smal is. Bijzonder was dat die Zondag verplicht binnenblijven was vanwege de census( volkstelling) Uitsluitend militairen en politie op straat. Echter met het fijne hotel en de goede maaltijden was het niet echt rampzalig. Ook was het bijzonder dat het hele land vanaf vrijdagmiddag tot maandagmiddag drooggelegd...
