We loved the cabin, however, there were several things that needed attention. The master bedroom shower handle was broken so we had to use pliers to turn it on. It was hard to get the temperature right doing this. Also, the water pressure in that shower was terrible!The windows int he master bedroom would not open! Since there is no air conditioning, we wanted to open them!The lights in the kitchen were way too dim. We felt like we needed to "turn on the lights" when they were all on!There in no TV in the second bedroom. There needs to be one in there if you are going to have them in the other bedrooms!The grill was not clean when we went to use it, so we had to clean it before we could use it.The oven was challenging to use. We couldn't get the oven to light sometimes and the burners were also difficult to get to stay lit.The washer stunk like it had soured! We bought some washer cleaner and ran it through the wash cycle twice, but it still stunk pretty bad!The deck, hot tub, and fire pit were great! We used them multiple times while we were there!We would stay at this cabin again, but it would be nice if you could fix all of the above mentioned items!

Blue Spruce was the perfect home base for our family’s ski trip! The home was clean. There were plenty of linens and towels. Kitchen was fully stocked and operational. The hot tub was lovely after a day on the mountain and our kids loved making s’mores in the fire pit. We can’t wait to be back!

We visit Angel Fire every year and sometimes twice a year. Our family of four enjoyed our stay at the cabin. It was spacious and well furnished. Our youngest daughter enjoyed the backyard the most! Even though there was not alot of snow in AF this year, the backyard had snow which made for a fun private sledding hill!!!Only inconvenience we found was low water pressure and slow drains in the showers. However this wasn’t enough to knock it off a 5 star rating. We will be hoping to stay here again on our next trip. Overall a great stay and very comfortable for our family.

I can’t express how much we enjoyed our stay at Angel Fire/Blue Spruce Cabin! It was cozy when we watched Christmas movies at night! We loved the heated floors, those were a nice touch! We especially loved seeing the mule deer and elk in the backyard as well as using the snow sleds to ride down the hill with our kids. After a few minutes of messing with the oven, we figured out how to use it! So nice,btw! I really can’t say enough great things. This was our first time and I know for certain we would love to come back for another adventure!We also highly recommend Morning Star for breakfast and the first rental ski shop on the right heading up to Angel Fore Ski Resort! Both places had top notch service! 10/10!!

Finding the property is hard, since google/Apple Maps wants to auto correct you to a different cabin with the same address on a very similarly named street, but the cabin itself is lovely and worth the drive/search.

It was a good house in a good location. Had problem with smelling gas when trying to use oven. So did not use it. There was no direction for it and also for the tv. It’s scary when you have 3 remotes and which one to use. Never did use the directv remote. We had a tv guru with us and he couldn’t figure it out. Directions would have been very helpful. Were able to watch it but it kept doing switchbacks to other stations. The Angel Fire area was awesome and we will be back again and hopefully problems fixed.

We enjoyed our stay. The air fryer was a must since we didn't know how to use the oven. The hot tub was nice each evening. The back deck was enjoyable, relaxing and watching the deer. It was nice to have basic essentials, salt and pepper, coffee filters, detergent and fabric softener, available.

When we walked into the property, we were blown away by the view from the living room. It was better from the back porch. The home had the perfect amount of space for our family, but unfortunately as our stay progressed we faced several challenges & disappointments. We found many hairs in the master bedroom sheets. The oven was European & gas. No idea how to use it. Neither the guest contact or maintenance man could help. On the last night, found a manual on top of the refrigerator under pans. For 5 days used a small air fryer/oven to cook for 5. The gas fireplace stopped working the 1st morning. We were told it was too hot in the house & to cool it down. It still wouldn't turn on. Someone came & learned the thermal couple was dead & needed replaced. It was the holidays & the propane company was closed. We spent four days in the home staring at a dull fireplace with 20 & below temps. We chose this home for the views & the fireplace. We were disappointed that we missed out on utilizing the fireplace. One of the backdoors wouldn't lock & had to have maintenance come & fix. He was great. Later we learned the window left of the fireplace wouldn't lock. The porch by the garage had two pizza boxes left on it. The back porch had a cigar butt & empty sparkling water bottle left. The hot water heater would beep & we would have to reset it. One of our fave parts were the heated floors in the M bath. We made due w/what we had, but would've loved to use the amenities we paid for.

Wonderful view, quiet neighborhood. House was very clean and well stocked. I would stay here again. Management was very responsive/helpful. Only small complaint is the hot tub cover needs to be replaced. It’s become saturated with water and is very heavy and cumbersome to take on/off.

Overall, the cabin is great- nice, quiet area; daily visits from deer in the yard; plenty of room for our family. Disappointed we didn’t get to use the hot tub due to it raining during our entire stay, but you can’t control the weather. We spent most of our time in Red River, but this was a great place to call “home base”.

Perfect size home for our family of four. Convenient short drive to Angel Fire resort for skiing. Coming back home to a porch with hot tub and beautiful view. Kitchen was well equipped as was the laundry and bathrooms. The living space was comfortable with reclining sofas, big screen TV and fireplace that definitely kept us warm. The screened entry was a perfect place to keep dirty boots and wet gloves to dry out. The loft is open to the living area so those that turn in early should take the second bedroom which has its own attached bathroom. The master bath is also the guest bath. Overall a great stay!

We loved the house, warm, cozy, everything looked and smelled clean. Location is perfect, neighbors are warm and helpful. House is kids friendly, it has a nice big backyard with swings, a slope for tubing, fire pit and a balcony area with a great view. Absolutely recommended!!

The views are breathtaking! Great master bedroom. Great patio, though it was too cold for us to really make good use of it. The kitchen was well stocked. Property management was great. We had an issue the first day with the plumbing and it was fixed within an hour. Water pressure in the shower could have been better, but not terrible. Heated floors in the bathroom were so awesome. Fireplace was so nice too. Would love to return in the future.
