This rustic log cabin sits on 12 private acres within 5 miles from Angel Fire Resort and minutes to ski the Enchanted Circle by skiing Red River and Taos as well. Now with high-speed fiber optic internet, you have everything you need: kitchenette with bar island, small gas range, 1 premium luxury king bed with 50" flat screen TV and seating area, wood stove, heater, bathroom with shower, 2nd room has 1 set of queen bunks, washer and dryer. Experience beautiful mountain views and enjoy the front porch with rocking chairs. By the way, don’t be surprised to see a herd of around 60 to 200 Elk that just love to hang out on the 12 acres and surrounding areas. The length of right side of property connects to state land. RV Hookup available! To book entire property of Legends Cabin and main house Legendary Trails End Ranch you will need to book listing # 2428426. ***Please take note that the main house is about 200 feet from cabin, but privacy fence was installed in 2019 ***4-wheel drive recommended for winter travel.

Fantastic comfortable retreat

Great place! Cozy, quiet, and very comfortable. Great communication from the host. As advertised. Wi-Fi was solid and could support remote work. Has everything I needed for a 2-week stay.

Amazing Views- Beautiful Ranch!

Celebrated our 31st Anniversary weekend at this beautiful place! Quiet, secluded but close to town too! Kerri was wonderful and made arrangements for us to stay even though it was last minute. The bunkhouse was cozy and had everything we needed. We will be back! Thanks Kerri for your kindness and allowing us the opportunity to enjoy such a cool place! We loved it!

Mountain Bliss

Absolutely adorable, well maintained, pet and kid friendly cabin in the perfect mountain setting. Isolated and quiet, but still close to town. Abundant wildlife—black bear, wild turkeys, deer, prairie dogs, bunnies and chipmunks. Stunning views! Sit on the porch and enjoy a beautiful mountain sunset. Well stocked kitchen and washer dryer to boot! Internet/Wi-Fi connection was excellent (I teleworked part time). KK was an amazing and responsive host. We can’t wait to go back!

Trails End Cabin

Very beautiful scenery and a cozy cabin. Enjoyed our stay. Enjoyed the variety of songbirds in the Ponderosa Pines. The only negative is that we never got check in and check out instructions. I had to call the property owner to get the entry code. Got a friendly but rushed set of instructions. Never got the promised email. We were instructed to take the trash to the dumpsters by the road entrance when we left. They were all overflowing with trash and had to jam ours into an overloaded nasty dumpster. Makes one wonder.

Great cabin for large group

We spent a family retreat here with a large group and loved the feel and size of the home. The cabin you can rent 50 yards away with it is just the perfect combination to fit everyone. The seclusion was perfect for reconnecting without worrying about neighbors. The kids enjoyed sledding down the front drive way and the adults enjoyed watching from the large front deck. The sunroom shows the beautiful views and we were lucky enough to sit by the fire and watch the snow fall. The owner is very prompt with answering questions and was very kind and welcoming to our large family. We will definitely make this a return destination.

Amazing Property!

We had such an amazing time staying at the property. Everything "Angel Fire" is so close. Every day we were able to enjoy a variety of wildlife at the property. The host was great and kept in touch. The home was clean and the decor was so much fun! We can't wait to go back!

Best office in the world

My husband and I reserved this cabin to work remotely and get out of the heat. The location can’t be overstated- the views are ispectacular, the sunsets are breathtaking and it is quiet and remote. But not too remote- the resort is a ten minute drive. The wifi and cell service were great enabling us to work on laptops during the day (my husband chose to work on the porch and loved it) and take hikes and go to dinner in the evening. Angel Fire is a great area, but it is also easy to get to (and a beautiful drive) to Taos (50 min) and also Red River. It was beautiful and cool here. In July they call it monsoon season, but that basically means around three o clock brief showers blow through, cool it down and leave the area and refreshed by 5 or 6. The host was great-very helpful and responsive even providing a printer, and made great restaurant and spa recommendations. We saw lots of wildlife- elk, deer, coyotes, and rabbits. The cabin was a great honeymoon cottage for the two of us, but would also hold a couple of kids in the full over full bunks in separate room. Great place and highly recommend.

This is the perfect cabin for close access to Angel Fire and some peace and quiet in an amazing valley. Owner was over the top accommodating and super responsive in all communication. This was our first VRBO and hope all future ones are half this good.

Wonderful Cabin

Wonderful cabin close to Angel Fire, New Mexico. The cabin is peaceful, surrounded by forest and overlooking a beautiful meadow, but just a few minutes from restaurants and amenities in Angel Fire. The fall foliage was first rate and the Aspens were bright and beautiful. The cabin was well equipped and very comfortable. We enjoyed watching wildlife and stargazing at night--wonderful stay! We can't wait to go back!

Very charming ranch house

The house had everything we need for a comfortable stay, and then some. It is tastefully decorated with a rustic old west theme. The location is perfect. It's far enough to feel secluded, yet close enough to quickly go into town for food and activities. There's a gorgeous view everywhere you look. We will be coming back.

Cozy Mountain Retreat

We enjoyed our stay in the cabin. The location is wonderful. We saw deer, elk, a bobcat, rabbits, prairie dogs, chipmunks, a hawk, bluebirds, and hummingbirds. The mountains, beautiful skies, and wildflowers were gorgeous. The cabin was cozy and had everything we needed. There was one close neighbor, but they were quiet. There was a small privacy fence dividing the properties.
