When we first arrived … was a bit worried seeing the jar of earplugs beside the bed but they were never needed. Overall an enjoyable experience and we would recommend this property for convenience, cleanliness, amenities, comfort and attention to detail. The only frustration was the inability to access the streaming services offered on the TV. Could be our age in not being able to figure it all out! Also need to update the directions to the parking spot - red building is white now - and the one way sign as something to look for would have helped … but overall a great place to call home for a few days. Thanks!

Very nice and as described. The location is as good as it gets in Ann Arbor. Host was friendly and easy to communicate with. The water pressure was excellent.

Great location
Pros: we loved the close location to downtown, especially the farmers market on Saturday. Comfortable master bed, cute kitchen with lots of extras like coffee and tea. The AC units in the bedroom and kitchen helped keep the apartment cool on hotter afternoons. Cons: the bathroom is quite small without counter space and the shower had low pressure each day (we figured because it was an old house) and finally the last day we had zero shower pressure. Hopefully it can be fixed for the next guests. Overall a cute place in a great location which helped moving our daughter into college easier because of its proximity to campus. Thank you!

Perfect Location
Amazing, amazing location with parking!! Literally right across the street from farmers market and Kerrytown shopping and easy walk to downtown restaurants and campus. Apartment is very comfortable. House is nearly 200 years old, as owner acknowledges, so some quirks, but a lovely stay. We loved Ann Arbor!!

Great Location/Nice Place
It’s a cute apartment right in the heart of Kerrytown. Comes with a secure parking place and you can easily walk the city and campus. This was our 2nd stay here and I’m sure we’ll be back.

A great house in a great neighborhood!
This house is in a great location to explore Kerrytown and the downtown. Walking distance to so many places. House was wonderful! Friendliest neighborhood I have ever visited. Make sure you read the instructions Nina sends about how to find the parking spot before you arrive. Great parking spot right behind the house, but it took a minute to find it.

A perfect location to see Ann Arbor
The place was exactly as pictured, the host really thought of every little thing we might need, and the location was great. We were able to walk all around Kerrytown, to downtown Ann Arbor, and onto the U of Michigan campus. Lots of restaurant options for any diet.

Thanksgiving stay
The stay was perfect, check in was easy and the property owner talked me through my parking confusion and made sure we were settled into the apartment. The location is great, walking to restaurants and shopping. Our son lives about a mile away so this will absolutely be a return location for us.

Great location!
Great apartment! Met all of our needs while we visited our son for a football game. Very comfortable, clean and you can’t beat the location. Walkable to downtown and the university, great restaurants across the street, as well as a small gourmet market, coffee shop, cute shops and a farmers market twice a week! Around the corner from Zingerman’s deli, too! Would stay here again!

Cozy apartment in Kerrytown, with shops, restaurants and campus walking distance
Everything you might need to enjoy a couple of days or a couple of weeks in Ann Arbor. Host is very responsive to any questions, and can often help with early check-in. Very roomy for 2 people and could hold three if the office is used. Great restaurants right accross the street. Have stayed with this host every time we come to AA, and would surely stay with her again.

The perfect stay
This is hands down the best stay we've had in Ann Arbor. Right across from Kerrytown and incredibly cozy, we woke each morning and walked to Zingermans to get phenomenal prosciutto pastries and coffee. A perfect getaway.

Visit for Thanksgiving and The Game
Cute place right in Kerrytown and great location with a designated parking spot. We had a great stay visiting our Michigan student for Thanksgiving and The Game. (Go Blue!) The only reason I gave 4 out of 5 on the cleanliness is it could use a new clean shower curtain liner. The owner was great with communicating and we would stay there again!

We had a wonderful experience staying for the long weekend. Location was perfect for Kerry town, downtown, and even the walk to the Big House. We had a great stay in the apartment. The location is convenient to the University and the Main Street area. The apartment was well appointed and comfortable. Check in was very easy and Nina communicated with us regularly. The one suggestion would be to change the shower curtain, as it was a bit moldy, and bleach the shower/tub caulking. We would definitely stay here again!

We enjoyed our first trip to Ann Arbor along our road trip to & from PA! This place was a perfect location to walk to the downtown Kerrytown district and sight see at Univ of Michigan. We brought our small Pekinguese along and appreciated the dog friendly nature of this cute and quaint apartment! Comfy bed, well equipped kitchen and lovely old home with lots of character. The MOST ADORABLE Home Away From Home in the Perfect Location!
I was traveling for work and had to find somewhere to call home for a few days. When I ran across the "Love Nest" I fell in love with it and had to book it! When I saw it in person, I fell in love with it even more! It is adorable and perfectly decorated! The kitchen had everything I needed! The bed was huge and AMAZING, I slept like a baby! This was my first time visiting Ann Arbor and the location was perfect! I walked EVERYWHERE and felt safe (especially for a single woman). The Host and Property Manager were very helpful with any questions that I had and were able to assist me when I needed to add another night to my trip! I highly recommend the "Love Nest"! I have to admit that I was sad to leave it. I cannot wait to be called out for another work trip, so that I can return to my new "Home Away from Home"! Thank you so much Nina & Susan!

Charming spot in a great location
Stayed with my husband and daughter during fall 2020 move in. The place is compact but worked really well for us. Having the office was especially helpful! As there isn't a true "living room" when the second bed is in use, this isn't the place you want if you plan on having a family game night or something, but we didn't need any of that! Make sure you are around n a Weds or Sat mornings so you can walk across the street to the farmer's Market! Accessing parking can be complicated, but once you figure out the alley and the surrounding streets (it is Ann Arbor, which is not the easiest fr driving round) it works well.

Great Ann Arbor Apartment
This is a great apartment in the heart of downtown Ann Arbor. Everything is within walking distance. The bedroom is roomy, and the very comfortable. The sitting room gives visitors extra room to spread out and relax. The kitchen is small, but has everything you need. When the weather is nice, you can relax on the front porch. What makes this place exceptional is the owner. We initially made our reservation before the Covid-19 outbreak. The owner was so accommodating that I chose to simply change my travel dates rather than simply cancel. She is responsive and very kind. Stay here...you will like it.

Great Ann Arbor Weekend!
This was a great stay for us! Typically we stay at a nearby hotel, but decided to give Nina's property a stay instead since we were planning to stay a few nights. The decor is very cute, the bed is comfortable, and the amount of space was great. I loved being able to set up my laptop at the desk area to get some work done. Location was A+. I loved being able to walk across the street to farmers' market Saturday morning and having Zingerman's a stones throw away. Not a bad walk to anywhere! We ended up not using the kitchen other than the fridge for leftovers and beverages, but it seemed well stocked. Bathroom was a bit small and fiance had issues with fluctuating water temps during one of his showers, but as advertised it is an older home and these downfalls were offset by great charm. Property manager was very responsive when we had an issue with parking in the rear and our request to leave our bags later when our flight got delayed! Will definitely be back!

Nice place, but with cigarette smell
This place is really lovely. Walking distance to everything you will need, cozy and comfortable bed, desk, and kitchen. I really appreciated the filtered water, and the owner is super responsive. However, I noticed a faint smell of cigarette smoking during my stay. You have the entire second floor, but there is at least one other unit in the building. Opening the windows helped, but the smell became so strong that I checked out early. Beware if you are sensitive to cigarette odor. Otherwise, I would highly recommend this guest house.
